So What are We?
Gorou woke up for his second day of school with dark eye bags. Yep, he didn't sleep the whole night. The moment when Itto and him had kissed kept replaying in his head. The touch of Itto's lips, the feeling that bubbled up inside him (which he couldn't really explain), the air around them- UGH. It make Gorou's go red again just at the thought of him and Itto doing it again.
He changed into his beautiful banana-themed clothing and brushed out the knots making his hair look like a jungle. It took him so long (2 minutes). He opened his room door with pride and strode down the hallway leading to the lounge room.
"What are you so happy for?" His sister sat on the couch, twirling a strand of her long brown hair with her fingers.
"Shut up." Was all he said before continuing to walk to the kitchen. He opened the fridge taking out two slices of bread. Then he took a jar of peanut butter and set it on the counter. He did the same thing with the strawberry jam, placing it next to the peanut butter.
His sister looked behind the couch at him and gave him a disgusting look.
"Ew." She stuck out her tongue which was covered with nutella.
"Your tongue looks worse." Gorou scrunched his nose before taking a knife from the draw. He started scraping the poor bread with the jam on one slice and the peanut butter on the other.
"Gorou!" His father yelled, he yawned while walking down the hallway as well. He stretched his arms out in the air and walked to Gorou's door. He knocked then opened it and saw no one in there.
"Dad I'm here." Gorou finally said as he slowly placed the slice of jam on top of the slice with peanut butter.
"For once, you're up early." His father yawned again, making Gorou sleepy (even though he just woke up).
"Yeah." He replied, he wrapped the bottom half of his sandwich with a few tissues he stole from the tissue box in case the jam tried to leak out.
"Why is your sister watching TV?" His father asked, pouring himself a cup of coffee to wake himself up.
"Don't ask me." Gorou looked at the TV and realised what she was watching.
"What the actual..." Gorou's voice trailed off and gave a disgusting look at the TV this time when a shirtless middle aged man appeared. He held a pale white surf board in his left arm and was waving to a crowd with the other.
"What's the time Gorou?" His mother asked as she also walked out of the bedroom. She also yawned and stretched her arms in the air as if she was finally free from chains.
"I don't know. Ask dad." He took his first bite out of his sandwich and melted at the taste.
"Time?" She asked again, this time looking at his dad with a raised eyebrow.
"8:10." He replied, taking a quick glance at his watch before realising the time.
"YOUR BUS IS ABOUT TO GET HERE! GO GO GO!" His father yelled, stressing out.
"Okay okay." His sister rolled her eyes while turning off the TV. She walked towards her mum and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She then walked to her father and gave him a small hug before running towards the door.
"BYE!" She also yelled before slamming the door shut.
"YOU TOO!" His dad stared at Gorou waiting for him to go.
"I know that." In the span of those 3 minutes, Gorou had completely finished his sandwich and used the tissue to wipe off any jam on his face.
"See ya." He said calmly while he walked to the door. He saluted to his parents who were staring at him with anger. The door shut behind him, making his parents feel relieved.
Now the only problem was the bus. Students were just like zoo animals. Even worse, donkeys. Each student would make some weird animal noise, most of them sounded like donkeys. Probably since majority of the bus was filled with primary students.
His sister sat next to her friend Hannah, leaving Gorou with no spot. Which was terrible since every time the bus came to a stop, he would fall backwards into some kid's lap.
But finally the horror was over and they were at school. Him and his sister walked towards the doors of the school together. With her friend Hannah too.
"Meet me here after school." Gorou said, giving his sister a serious face.
"Of course." She rolled her eyes before walking through the doors. Since she was still in primary, she had to pass through the whole high school and the field to get to primary.
"Pup!" Itto's voice appeared behind Gorou, giving him a shock.
"Hi Itto!" Gorou turned around but wasn't expecting to be facing Itto's lower stomach area.
"Woah, pup's making some risky moves." Itto joked, chuckling before moving to stand next to Gorou.
"Sorry..." Gorou muttered, his face red again for the second time that morning.
"All good pup! Well, we have 10 minutes until class starts so let's go have some private time together." Itto said, holding onto Gorou's upper arm to guide him through the crowds of people. Finally after so long, they were sitting together on a bench near the field.
"Um, Itto, I have a question." Gorou rubbed his arm, scared about how Itto may react to his question.
"Yeah baby?" He waited for Gorou to ask his question. He kept his eyes on Gorou's teal eyes.
"What are we...?" He asked, looking up at Itto for a response.
"I'm not sure I understand pup?" Itto raised an eyebrow, confused.
"I mean, are we you know... In a relationship?" Gorou asked, rubbing his arm again nervously.
"If you want to be pup." Itto's reply was almost instant.
"I wouldn't mind being in one..." Gorou muttered, loud enough for Itto to hear.
"Then it has been decided! We are a couple!" Itto chuckled loudly as if he was announcing him and Gorou's relationship to the whole world.
"Sh Sh!" Gorou shushed Itto. But then the bell rang, stopping Itto and Gorou from continuing their discussion.
"I'll see you after class pup!" Itto said, already standing up with his bag slung over his left shoulder.
"Bye." Gorou replied, smiling sweetly. Itto gave Gorou a small peck on the cheek before he walked off back into the building.
