"Nobody finds out about this, dollface," Tara warns, voice low, one hand cupping the side of his neck in just the right way to feel his pulse flutter under her fingertips. "I mean it— nobody."
Joey isn't inclined to argue with her, especially about this— with a nod, he pulls her down into a kiss, fingers tangling in the curls at the back of her neck.
