He’d left a spare shirt in her room months ago, chalked it up to being for emergencies with all of his body language reading as flustered embarrassment, and had refused to take it back when Cass had offered— “Keep it, if you don’t mind?”
Of course she didn’t mind; it was worn and soft, a gentle comfort against scars and bruises— no doubt the reason he’d left it to begin with, he understood her desire for little comforts better than many —and made for an excellent pajama top.
(Bruce’s face turning twelve different shades of red every time she wore it was merely an added bonus.)
