Summary
“I don’t want to be like him.”Those were the words he said that made it all so much easier.The plan was simple. Wait the full five years, file the paperwork, be the boy's full and legal guardian, and then hide away from their parents. But no, the so-called 'family business' had to get in the way and draw attention to him. Well, she needed to get a new job and apartment anyway. It just meant she had to be careful how she was going to go about hiding them from the new danger.Too bad she picked to work at Alchemax where one high-up geneticist had his own double life going on.

Some keynotes regarding this fic:- Earth-928B is set in 2109- Miguel is at least in his mid-30s and keeping to the info in his comics where he's mid to late 20s, it seems decent to say there's some time passing since the initial 2099 year.- Spider-Society will have moments, but this is mostly set in Earth-928B's world, with characters primarily of that world.
