Chapter 2
One of the first things Harley noticed about Peter was that he didn't really talked unless spoken to. Harley was an extrovert so he always spoke first, but he quickly gets tired of talking about himself and the curiosity of knowing the brown eyed boy was getting to him.
"So Peter what are you majoring in?" the blonde said in an awfully quiet table at the dining hall, the other boy raised his gaze and almost choked on his food, the comment of the blonde took him by surprise "Mechanical engineering, how about you?" Peter quickly tried to take the focus out of him "What? me too! We might have classes together that's awesome!" Peter half smiled at the over exited boy. "Where are you from?" Harley continued, looking expectant at the other boy "Queens, lived there my whole life, you?" the blonde seemed satisfied with that answer "Rose Hill, Tennessee. Never been in the city, can you tell?" the boy said and point at himself, Peter half laughed "Not at all" and rapidly asked something to the boy to take the focus out of him, again. "So Harley when do you realized you wanted to study mechanical engineering?" the boy was actually curious, he wasn't one to judge but Harley seemed too cool to be here. The blonde was, of course, exited to talk "I guess i always liked it, when i was little i had my own little lab in the backyard, one time a man break into it and I almost shot him with my potato gun" Harley started "turned out he just needed help with something, so I helped him and he ended up being my friend, and he even upgraded my lab!" Harley figured out it was better if he didn't gave all the details just yet.
"What? that's such a cool story!" Peter got too lost on his thoughts to realized he gave the blonde the perfect time to ask about his story "And how did you realize you wanted to study the same thing?" Harley's eyes grew curious, the brown haired boy bit his lip and look at the ground for an answer, he ended up with a half true story "I just really enjoy it, I like to build stuff, to dismantle computers, to create new things with what's already there, and to help people with them" the blonde was invested.
"What are you some kind of superhero Peter?" Kate came out of nowhere, the brown haired boy looked taken aback "What? No, why would you say that?" he laughed nervously, Harley laughed for real "I just get to your table and you're saying something about how much you love helping people" the black haired girl was decided in her statement "so either you're a good samaritan..." she leaned in closely and jokingly whisper "...or a superhero." Harley looks at the time and rapidly grabbed his plate and stands up "Hey guys I'm sorry I would love to stay but i have to go meet a friend, see you guys tonight" Kate sees as the blonde walks away and realizes Peter still looks nervous about the joke of him being a hero, she looked at the boy upside down and realized.
"OH MY GOD YOU ARE" Peter covers her mouth and they leave to a classroom near the dining hall. When the boy let's his hand out of the girl's face she just stares at him for a few seconds in awe "I can't believe i was right, I'm awesome" Peter looked around and whispered "I'm not what you think i am" Kate raised her eyebrow "Really? 'cause I think you're a secret superhero"
They both stared at eachother for a few seconds, Peter blinked "Okay maybe I am" Kate was about to start screaming again when the boy covered her mouth for the second time. When he let her go she said "Hey dude everything's fine im also kind of a superhero slash vigilante" she said proudly and patted her own shoulder waiting for an answer, Peter looked at her in disbelief "Are you sure?" Kate sighed "Yeah why does everyone say that when I tell them?" Peter half smiled "Well... who are you?" the girl's gaze analyzed him and crossed her arms "You tell me first."
"I'm the Hawkeye" Kate said "Really? 'cause you look nothing like him" the girl frowned "I'm like a younger funnier Hawkeye!!" Peter stopped her "Okay okay that's great" he laughed, Kate was waiting for an answer, Peter looked down and said "I am Spider-Man"

The party was gonna be in an hour and Gwen didn't wanna go at all, but she already said yes to that blonde boy from the library and he looked kind, like they could be friends, and the girl needed a few friends besides Mary-Jane, she was awesome but they couldn't be together every hour of the day. Gwen needed to make friends and this was the time.
Her and Harley exchanged numbers so they could meet up before the party so none of them gets there alone. She's waiting near the library for the boy to come and she raises her gaze and visualize her blonde hair getting closer, "Hey" he says, the boy is wearing a white tank with jeans, "Hi" and Gwen is wearing her blonde hair down, black jeans a white tank top and a leather jacket that was definitely to warm for the night.
"Do you wanna go for a walk before the party?" the blonde boy said "Sure great" answered the girl.
They were walking through campus now, the night ended up being breezy so Gwen was actually perfectly dressed, and Harley was crossing his arms in his chest to keep warm. "Do you have any friends that go here? or have you make any?" the boy breaks the silence, and the blonde girl looks up from the ground to look at him "I have one friend here but she's majoring in something different than me, we have a lot of classes together because they're similar majors but I will have to make friends in order to not be alone when I'm not with her, you know?" she looked down again "you're the first person I've talked to yet" that caught Harley's attention "So I'm your first friend here?" Gwen laughed as she rolled her eyes "you are" the boy was slyghtly proud.
They keep walking a few minutes in silence until Gwen says the next thing "Have you? make any friends yet?" she asked. "I want to get to know my roommate a little bit more, he seems cool. Then there's the girl that invited me to this party, Kate, and I didn't really talk to anyone else besides them and you" Gwen nodded "We are getting close to the party do you wanna pace down?" Harley said sensing the girl getting anxious "Yeah thanks, I'm just nervous you know? I like party's but this is the first in college I don't know" the boy nodded "yeah I know we can slow down or even wait for my friends, they're not here yet, we can stay outside" Gwen let out a breath "Let's do that"
