“How are you here?” Loki asks.
“I could ask you the same” Felix rests his hands on Loki’s upper arms.
Loki sits back on the throne and sighs. How could he explain everything. He looks Felix over. Just as beautiful as the day he lost him. But different. His skin is dark now. Loki swears if he looks close enough Felix’s skin has a purple sparkle to it. The only remnant if his previously pale skin being the freckles spotted along his body. His hair keeps the same curls, but had turned white and held the same sparkle. When Loki started rambling he doesn’t know, but he can’t bring himself to stop. He tells Felix of Thanos and how he was brainwashed, how he escaped New York with the Tessaract. He tells him of B-15 and Mobius. He tells him of the other Lokis he encountered.
“I fear where I stand is my greatest curse” Loki looks down, avoiding Felix’s gaze. Felix approaches the trunk of the tree and runs his fingers along the bark. So many realities held together by one man. All those realities held together by Felix’s love. The tree turns inky, the same color of Felix’s wings.
“Let go” Felix turns to Loki.
“What?” The god’s eyes snap to Felix “I can’t! Felix that would destroy the multiverse!”
“No, I fixed that”
“What?”
“I fixed it.”
“How?”
“Just did. Wasn’t hard, that tree isn’t the whole multiverse”
“Am I getting an explanation about that?”
“Nah”
“You, my dear” Loki laughs “You have not changed one bit”
