Note
Hello all! This first started out as a story idea until I decided to actually start writing it. I was inspired by bits if Natasha's story and decided to incorporate it into this story, and I was inspired by a character from the book series ACOTAR (which I do not own by the way!)There are some cannon parts in this story but the rest is all original from my own ideas, I am still working with the direction of the story so I'm sort of winging it right now.I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING MARVEL OR AVENGERS RELATED IT ALL GOES TO THE OWNERS

Chapter 6

Katarina’s Cell…

Katarina had fallen into a troubled sleep after her last “shock treatment”, while she slept different dreams came to her. Flashes and images of the future, so many different predictions of the future. She sat up with a small gasp, cradling her head in her hands. This was the one gift of hers she hated having, premonitions in her dreams.

It rarely happened when she was awake, it was mainly while she slept. Anyone who she got close to she could see their future, though the images weren’t always accurate. If one of them changed their minds then everything would shift, that was why it hurt so much when Wanda and Pietro didn’t come back. She would see bits and pieces of their future and freedom while she was trapped as Strucker’s loyal assassin, so she blocked them out of her subconsciousness so she would no longer have to see their faces haunt her dreams.

She layed back down with a heavy sigh, and heavy eyes. She always got little sleep whenever she had these sorts of dreams, combined with her nightmares she sometimes couldn’t tell what was the future or what was a dream. Curling back into herself Katarina let herself fall back into sleep, the events of the day leaving her body exhausted.

While she slept, Wanda crept out from the shadows, her eyes glowing a faint red as red mist came out from her hands. As carefully and quietly as she could she approached the cell just close enough to use her powers on Katarina, she conjured the same images she saw with Ultron but this time replacing Ultron’s face with Strucker’s plus a little extra.

Katarina began to twitch in her sleep, it looked like Wanda’s plan was working. Her mind was vulnerable from her dreams, it was the perfect opportunity. Once she noticed the girl was on the verge of waking she made herself scarce so as not to be detected.

Katarina woke with tears in her eyes, she knew her dreams could be extravagant but normally not to this extent. If she were being honest with herself, she felt scared of those predictions becoming reality. And she’s never felt such fear since she was a child when the HYDRA soldiers took her from the orphanage.

Inhaling a deep steadying breath, Katarina chose to remain awake for the duration of the night. She assumed it was now daylight when she saw the redheaded Russian spy coming up to her. “Turnout your hands.”

Katarina looked at her untrustingly, “can’t risk you killing us all before we’ve had a chance to say our peace can we?” Natasha raised an eyebrow.

Katarina hesitantly gave the assassin spy her hands, a variation of metal handcuffs were placed around her wrists. “Just a little precaution, Dr. Banner stayed up all night to make them.” Was she supposed to say thank you to that? At least they weren’t too tight which Katarina could say she was thankful for, she was led by the redhead out the doors and down the seemingly never ending hallways.
