Future update timeline
Hello! For those that wish to regard me in comments without typing out the full user, you can call me Anna (She/her). Ok, so I posted the first chapter to see what the formatting for text would be and to see if anyone would actually like this concept.
I planned to post the second chapter 1-2 weeks after the first. As per the Ao3 author rules, life got in the way. Beyond that, I ended up going down a rabbit hole of videos about the Ao3 Author Curse after seeing a particularly interesting author’s note. After my deep dive on the topic I have come to the conclusion that because I have terrible luck and don’t wish to tempt fate or the fan fiction Gods, I shall wait to post any chapters on this story about someone getting kidnapped and tortured on an abroad studies trip… until after I come back from my abroad studies trip in May… yeah.
Much love to the lovely people that have already found this story and left kudos! I hope when I post more chapters in June that you’ll return to read the story. I know the beginning is rough and doesn’t really seem like a good setup for what the summary entailed, but trust the process, I swear it all makes sense even the OC has a role to play later on. I also hope the first chapter set the tone for what kind of story this will be because I know that there are those who don’t read tags and warnings or do and ignore them. I wanted to make it clear that to read this you should have a decently strong stomach and have grayish morals.
