source of annoyance pt. I

Months had passed since Peter started treating many people who didn’t fit the traditional image of a patient. Peter continued his task with calmness and skill, always taking care of anyone who needed him, regardless of their past.

On one sunny day, Peter stood outside the clinic, quietly sweeping the place, trying to make it look clean and organized

Some might think he was obsessed with details, but for him, the clinic was his own world, and he preferred to keep it tidy and clean He was quietly listening to YouTube clips through his headphones while busy cleaning the sidewalk.

Suddenly, while he was engrossed in his work, he heard a loud sound, a roar like an explosion, followed by the sudden appearance of a flaming figure flying through the air

Before he could think, Johnny Storm, the famous hero, landed in front of him, engulfed in flames as if they didn’t affect him He made his landing look dramatic, standing there in all his glory, radiating confidence and sarcasm

Peter looked at him with a blank expression.

Has my reputation reached the heroes? he sighed      I expected that...

Johnny looked Peter up and down, surprised by the sight of a doctor standing before him without any expression of shock Then Johnny spoke with a sarcastic and confident tone "You... the doctor for the villains? Honestly, I expected you to look different, thought you’d be... bald."

Peter raised an eyebrow, then stared at Johnny for a moment before replying calmly, his voice showing some irritation at the silly title and wondering what he meant by thinking he was bald...?

"It’s Dr. Parker, not the doctor for villains." He added, raising an eyebrow, pretending to be innocent "Hmm, what’s your name? A new hero in the city?"

Johnny Storm, who had expected a different reaction or at least some surprise, felt a bit shocked

He stood there for a moment, surprised that the doctor didn’t know who he was Then he said in astonishment, "You don’t know me? I’m Johnny Storm, the hero! The Human Torch! Don’t you even know who I am?!"

Peter looked at him thoughtfully, rubbing his head in a fake confusion, then returned to quietly cleaning the sidewalk as if the encounter had no impact. He said indifferently

"I guess you’re too busy being famous. But no, I haven’t heard of you before If you’re here for treatment, welcome."

Johnny felt a bit embarrassed, not expecting to meet someone who didn’t know him. But he quickly went back to his arrogant stance and asked curiously, "Aren’t you interested in heroes?"

Peter answered dryly, "No."

Johnny Storm stood in front of Peter for a moment, still surrounded by flames, watching Peter continue his work as if nothing unusual had happened

It was clear that Johnny hadn’t expected this kind of response. He was used to people being surprised by his presence, but this doctor was completely different.

Johnny, still in a state of shock, said, "You’re serious? You don’t know who I am? I’m one of the most famous heroes in the world, and I’m a member of the Fantastic Four!"

Peter gave a slight smile to dismiss the man politely, then said as he placed the tool aside and looked at Johnny coldly "Johnny Storm? Yes, now I remember. But I’m here dealing with more urgent matters than heroes who think everyone knows them."

Johnny removed some of the flames surrounding him as he stared at Peter, folding his arms in annoyance still not believing that the doctor didn’t even know the Fantastic Four!

He said, surprised, "Are you serious? You deal with criminals and injured people of all kinds, but you don’t care who’s standing in front of you?"

"I’m a doctor." Peter replied calmly, gathering the trash "My job isn’t to judge people or know them. My job is to treat those who need treatment. That’s it."

Johnny felt a bit confused, then burst out laughing. "You’re not like anyone I’ve met before. I expected to impress you at least. But you, simply, don’t care?"

"My job is not to care," said Peter, looking at Johnny with calm eyes. "If you need treatment, I’m ready But if you came to threaten me or cause problems, you might want to think about going back from where you came."

Johnny shook his head in astonishment and then said, lowering the flames around him, ignoring the threat, "You’re nothing like any doctor I’ve met before. But it seems like you know what you’re doing."

"I do what I have to do," Peter said, as he looked at Johnny and slowly resumed cleaning the place.

Johnny, starting to realize that he wasn’t going to get the appreciation he thought he deserved, sighed and said, "Well, looks like I’m not going to impress you like I hoped. Anyway, if you need any help, you can ask."

"Thanks for your concern, Mr. Storm, but no need for that."

Johnny said sarcastically, "Just Johnny, no need for the silly formalities. I’ll see you later, strange doctor."

Then, with a swift motion, the flames completely disappeared from his body, leaving Peter in the silence of the clinic.

Peter looked at the spot where Johnny had been standing, let out a light sigh, then went back to his work and muttered in exhaustion while looking at the ground "He left burn marks with his fire..."

Peter Parker never expected that his first visit from Johnny Storm would mark the beginning of an endless series of unwelcome intrusions It seemed that the fiery hero had found something intriguing in the doctor, perhaps someone new to annoy.

One evening, as Peter was cleaning his medical tools after a long day, the door suddenly opened, and Johnny Storm entered without asking for permission, completely ignoring any concept of privacy.

He sat in the chair in front of Peter’s desk as if he were at home and began talking nonstop

"You know, I met someone today who was trying to convince me that heroes are just empty media hype! Can you believe that? I mean, we’re literally fighting villains and saving the world!"

Peter didn’t say a word. He simply looked at Johnny in silence, then went back to his work as if the air itself were talking. But this didn’t stop Johnny from continuing to chatter, enjoying his one-sided conversation.

After half an hour, Johnny suddenly stood up and said cheerfully, "Well, that was fun! We’ll meet again later, Dr. Peter." Then he left as abruptly as he entered, leaving Peter staring at the closed door, wondering how he ended up in this situation.

On another day, while Peter was sitting in his clinic eating a modest meal, Johnny entered again without permission, sat across from him, and stared at his food with interest.

"What’s this? It looks so boring. Is it good?"

Peter lifted his eyes to him, then went back to eating in silence.

"You know, I know a great pizza place. Let’s go! You’ll thank me later, it’s the best in town."

"No, thank you," Peter replied politely, then added, looking directly at him, "Now, please, I’d like to eat in peace."

But Johnny didn’t take the hint. He stayed seated, continuing to stare at Peter as if he hadn’t heard anything. Finally, after Peter finished his meal, Johnny stood up and said "Well, since you refuse to try the pizza of the century, I’ll go alone. But you’ll regret it!"

"Sure," Peter said coldly as he closed the door behind him.

Johnny began showing up regularly at the clinic, ignoring all signs from Peter that he wasn’t interested. On one occasion, Johnny proudly suggested, "Let’s exchange numbers! It would be great to have a direct way to communicate!"

Peter wanted to avoid this at all costs, but Johnny didn’t understand the meaning of rejection. He started begging like a child denied candy, complaining the whole time.

When Peter worked on his papers, Johnny complained. When Peter ate, Johnny complained. Even when Peter was treating a patient, Johnny complained.

"Come on, Peter! Just a phone number, I won’t disappoint you, I promise!"

Peter sighed in frustration as he bandaged one of his patients’ wounds, then looked at Johnny sharply But Johnny kept looking at him pleadingly Eventually, Peter gave in and gave him the number, expecting he wouldn’t use it much.

But Johnny’s reaction was worse than Peter had imagined. He jumped for joy, "Wow! Finally! I knew you liked me!" Then, before Peter could realize what was happening, Johnny suddenly hugged him, making Peter regret his decision instantly.

What a huge mistake.

A few days passed, and Peter began regretting giving Johnny his number. Johnny started calling him at inconvenient times, but that night was the worst.

It was midnight, and Peter was treating a construction worker who had been injured on the job Suddenly, his phone started ringing He ignored it Then it rang again He silenced it Then it rang again The construction worker raised an eyebrow and said,

"Doctor, just answer it."

Peter sighed, smiled apologetically at the man, then picked up the phone and answered in a low, sharp voice

"What do you want? Stop calling me during work, or I’ll block you."

"Oh, my apologies, Mr. Important Doctor that the world needs to save it. I just wanted to suggest a movie for me to watch right now."

Peter looked at the ceiling, took a deep breath.

Don’t get angry, Don’t get angry. It’s unwise. He’s messing with you. Endure it. Endure it.

He replied dryly, "Star Wars." Then he hung up before hearing Johnny’s response and went back to the patient, apologizing again.

It was clear that Johnny wasn’t just a passing hero. He had become something of a constant headache in Peter’s life. While Peter preferred a peaceful life, Johnny Storm was an unstoppable hurricane.
