No one knew what they could expect from this event. Oh, sure, Tony figured it would be a celebration since they did save the universe, but that doesn’t mean he knew what they needed to do. The only good thing was that none of the public were invited for this one. Right now? This was the Avengers time to celebrate their victory. Well, and their allies. Because, as it turns out, they had many new allies; including old enemies, who had come to their aid.
Like the God of Mischief who was taking exceptionally long in Thor’s room to get ready.
Clint suggested starting without him but before Thor could say anything Tony stated, “Think of it this way, bird brain. If the roles were reversed, and you were taking so long, how would you react if everyone started without you?” That shut the hawk up, for now at least. All that came out of his mouth now was grumbles.
A few minutes later, Thor knocks on the door. It opens enough for Thor to see inside and have a hushed conversation with the young God. All of them look at Steve, but even with his enhanced hearing he can’t hear a word of what the two Gods are saying. All they knew was that apparently Loki had told Thor the group could go on ahead of him, since the blonde told them as much after the door was once again closed.
So, they left for the party. Before long, most of the group forgot about Loki not being there. Well, Thor obviously didn’t. There is no way that Loki isn’t planning something. One, he is the God of Mischief. Two, him and Thor were acting suspicious. Though, Tony could admit that since Thor wasn’t acting as if something bad was going to happen, he doubted it was going to be something like the last time the Avengers saw the young god. Tony knows Thor wouldn’t have allowed something like that when currently Loki has some credit with them at this moment.
In fact, Tony just heard a door open. He turned to look towards where Loki was coming down the hallway. Except, this wasn’t what he was expecting. The previous enemy was wearing a long green and gold dress. It honestly reminded Tony of a mermaid tail. That’s when he realized the God was also no longer looking the same. Loki’s hair was longer than it was before and up in a ponytail. When Loki gets closer, he can see Loki’s jawline is softer. And the man could admit that the God looked really good.
No one else seemed to notice Loki showing up. However, the now Goddess headed towards Tony. Loki smiled at the mechanic and they started talking about random things. That was until the others noticed them.
Thor seemed to stay back, grinning at the rest of them. Natasha was the first to go up to Loki. She looked the Goddess up and down before smirking. It seems like she figured out who was standing in front of them with an elegance that most in the room didn’t know Loki could use. But she seemed to be the only one besides Tony and Thor to do so.
Steve and Clint were trying to introduce themselves whereas Bruce was staring. Though, it was hard to tell if he knew or if he was trying to figure out why he felt like he knew the Goddess. Either way, the main ones were Steve and Clint.
Tony is honestly disappointed in Clint. The man was earlier complaining about having to wait for Loki, and now he can’t realize that the woman in front of him was the one who he constantly complains about. Steve, though? The Super Soldier was just being friendly.
So when Thor started laughing at them with Loki smirking, Tony couldn’t hold his laughter back, either. He continued laughing while Thor introduced the group to Lady Loki. All the while, Tony was laughing, Loki was laughing into her hand, and Natasha was standing there with amusement filled eyes as she watched Clint’s face go from many different emotions.
This was going to be one of the best parties Tony has ever been to.
