Logan and Wade get home after a long job. There were more guards than expected, and they were heavily armed. And as Wade says, having a healing factor is a bitch and a half. they were bloodied and battered, and if they could be bruised, they would be. Logan calls first dibs on the shower, feeling the overstimulation of the dirt and grime build up under his suit. Wade doesn't argue and instead starts making the pull-out bed while he showers.

Wade is partially stripped by the time Logan is out of the shower. "Did ya save me any hot water?" Wade half teases, stripping off the rest of his suit. Logan merely rolls his eyes, tugging on a pair of sleep shorts. "You better not have sat on the bed with that nasty suit on," Logan grunts, sliding under the covers. "No promises," Wade giggles as he slips into the bathroom.

Logan hears the click of the bathroom door, followed by the sound of Wade rummaging through their dresser. He doesn't bother to turn and look, and he is too tired to care if Wade is stealing his clothes again. He feels a familiar weight shimmy under the covers with him. Logan smiles to himself, eyes still closed, and he turns to where Wade is now lying. That's when the unfamiliar scent hits him. His claws shoot out, and he pins the figure next to him to the mattress, growling. "eep! It's just me, honey badger!" the figure squeaks from under him. "Wade?" he puzzles, sheathing his claws. "In the flesh, angel baby," Wade confirms nervously.
Logan leans down and sniffs Wade's neck a few times, sending shivers down the younger man's spine. "did ya change body wash?" Logan growls, sniffing him again. "I used blind Al's; mine ran out," he explains, still pinned to the mattress. Logan collapses on top of him with a satisfied sigh. "Don't do it again," Logan huffs, burying his face into Wade's neck. "I'll go to the store tomorrow," Wade soothes. Logan lets out a satisfied purr, slowly drifting away under his boyfriend's touch.
