I was in panic.
Sarah and I were looking at colors for balloons when my stomach started to hurt. I had taken some painkillers, but they weren't helping.
"Maybe he just went to the store." Sarah shrugged. "It can take a while."
"No, something is wrong." I said and shook my head. "Something is very wrong. He is some place he should not be. I just know it."
My phone beeped and I picked it up, again. Clint was calling.
"Lori, I'm sorry, but Sam's been hurt."
"What happened?"
"He and the kid discovered an old HYDRA base and got
trapped inside. Peter got out, but Sam stayed inside and got his suit broken. We fought our way in and out,
but he took the most hits."
"Is he alright?"
"Doctor Helen Cho is repairing him."
"Will she succeed?"
"She fixed me after I got beaten up. Laura doesn't even
feel the difference."
"Good. He better be home soon."
"Why?"
"Because I just had my water broken."
"What?!"
Clint hung up, but the group chat was very active. No doubt, he was telling everyone.
I gave my phone to Sarah and she kept a look at it while we went to the hospital.
