Reading my mind
Witch:
You were smiling like an idiot
Cyborg:
It was weird to see you like that
Golden Boy:
Got to agree
Sam I only saw you smile like that
when your nephew got born
And even that was different
I stared at my screen. It was still surreal that I was texting the Avengers. It was more surreal that one of them seemed to have a liking in me, which I reciprocated!
I had let Sam change the contact names, and they were hilarious. And fitting!
I heard something fall upstairs and called out, "What happened?" to my sister.
"I dropped my hoodie." Amara shouted back. "I just... Forgot I was in it."
I shook my head with a chuckle and stood up to come and help her. "I know the room isn't big, but you'll have the house to yourself most of the time."

"Why are kids so observing..." I mumbled to myself and opened a box. I smiled when I saw it was stuffed with things from our childhood. "I forgot I gave this to you." I said as I took out a stuffed animal.
Amara looked over and smiled. "I always liked pigs."
"Yeah." I snorted. "No idea why, but it's funny how protective you became when you saw this thing. It needs a bath."
"It's a pig." My sister shrugged. "But, yeah." She sat down on her bed. "When will you see the others?"
"Next week." I answered and took a seat next to her. "The seventeenth. You can come if you want."
"And meet the Avengers?" Amara her eyes started to sparkle, and then widened. "Wait... If Peter is in that groupchat... Is he an Avenger, too?"
I frowned in thought. "Well, maybe. We don't know the identity of Spider-Man..." Now my eyes widened. "He's Spider-Man."
The two of us sat in shock, but also not. It, somehow, made sense for him to be the vigilante. I was just worried for how long he was hiding it. That burden...
