Chapter 1
It's May 24 in the spring. Bees are buzzing outside, while the sun is shining brightly. There is a castle that can be seen not far away, it is a school for witches. In one of the windows, you can see a girl with braids and a boy with glasses, who is known as Mildred and Merlin.
"Seriously, why do I have to learn this?" Mildred groaned impatiently, and slammed her head on the table.
"Because, you have to learn this for your upcoming exam. Maud can't help you right now, so I have to." Merlin explained to the braided-haired girl.
Mildred would've like if it was Maud. Don't get her wrong, she likes merlin but she prefers studying with maud. Alot of people thinks she likes merlin, but for Mildred she doesn't know what to feel or think about merlin. She never have once thought about her feelings for someone nor have been in a relationship. Sure she had crushes here and then but she always got hurt in the end.
Mildred rolls her eyes, and slightly pushed her chair. She was so bored, she never once liked studying.
"Millie, you have to focus. I'm your friend, right? So please listen to me." Merlin pleaded to Mildred.
He was focused on helping Mildred studying, not because he was her friend but because he liked Mildred alot. Ever since Mildred helped him from Baz and Gaz he has developed feelings for her. Everyone knew this, but he doesn't know if Mildred feels the same.
Mildred sighs, and looked at merlin. "Sorry, I can't focus well." She kept her head down, and fidgeted with her tie.
Merlin thought for a while, he asked himself what could help Mildred focus in studying. He really wants to help Mildred, so he thought music can help her.
"Just wait a minute, Millie." Merlin smiled, and ran somewhere. Mildred raised her eyebrows, and was confused. She wondered why merlin suddenly ran.
A few minutes, merlin had came back. He was holding headphone, and a player which can play music.
"What's that?" Mildred asked confused.
"Here, Millie. Its to help you focus, you can listen to music while reading books to help you focus." Merlin smirked, then putted the headphone on Mildred's head. He grabbed his player, and clicked on the playlist that is full of songs.
"I'll leave you first, you listen to it while reading books. I'll come back later." The boy smiled, and smirked at his own idea then whistled while going out.
Mildred just shrugged it off. She was listening to the songs while reading the books. She actually liked listening to the songs merlin had on his playlist. She never knew he had good music taste.
Mildred was just enjoying herself until this song played.

It reminded Mildred of being hurted by her past crushes/lovers, she never believed in love. All she wanted was to be loved but she never experienced that.
"Mukhang delikado na naman ako
Oh, bakit ba kinikilig na naman ako?" ( I seem to be in danger again
Oh, why am I so excited again?)
Mildred can't help but smile. She loves the rhythm of the music, it was catchy.
"Pero ngayon ay parang kakaiba
'Pag nakatingin sa'yong mata, ang mundo ay kalma" ( But now it seems strange When I look into your eyes, the world is calm)
She doesn't know why but when she listened to the lyrics it reminded her of maud, not only maud but the way everything always becomes better whenever maud is with her.
"Ngayong nand'yan ka na, 'di magmamadali"( Now that you're there, don't rush)
It reminded Mildred of meeting maud of the first time. It was the day Mildred became friends with maud.
(Flashback)...
A girl is seen near the dustbins, her attire is messy. Every student looks at her worried, laughing and embarrassed. Mildred just wanted the ground to eat her, everyone was laughing at her except for one girl, Maud Moonshine.
"I'll help her Miss Hardbroom" Maud can be heard talking to Miss Hardbroom.
Maud rushed to Mildred's aid, and helped her up. "Let's get you some water." Maud says.
Mildred looks at maud teary-eyed, and smiled at her.
She was super grateful to the girl who helped her, and had not laughed at her.
(Flashback ended)
"That was a good memory" Mildred thought.
"Ikaw lang ang katabi hanggang sa ang buhok ay pumuti" ( You are the only one next to me until the hair turns white)
She always wanted maud next to her side no matter what. Be it, them being old or being young. She always needed maud next to her.
"Di na maghahanap ng kung anong sagot sa mga tanong
Dahil ikaw ang katiyakan ko" ( No more searching for answers to questions Because you are my assurance)
She never searched for answer nor assurance because maud would and will always be there to make her feel better about herself no matter what.
"Hinding-hindi na ako bibitaw, ngayong ikaw na ang kasayaw" (. I will never let go, now that you are the one to dance with)
She never needed anyone more than she needed maud. When maud came to her life, nobody could ever replace nor be more capable than maud. Maud will always be better more than anyone.
"Kung meron mang kulay ang aking nagsisilbing tanglaw
Ikaw, ikaw ay dilaw" ( If there is a color that serves as my beacon. You, you are yellow)
Mildred gulped, she listen to the lyrics of the song and realised that it reminded her of maud. As she listened to the song, she realised the meaning of dilaw (yellow ) it was someone who offered unconditional love and support to you. So was Maud her dilaw?
"Di akalain mararamdaman ko muli
Ang yakap ng panahon habang
Kumakalabit ang init at sinag ng araw" (Sa lilim ng ulap)"

Mildred was at her lowest until she met Maud. Maud helped her become the person she is now today. Without maud, she wouldn't be here.
"Mukhang 'di naman delikado
Kasi parang ngumingiti na naman ako (ngumingiti na naman ako) (It doesn't seem dangerous
Because it seems like I'm smiling again (I'm smiling again)
Every wasn't all bad. Whenever the situation is devastating nor catastrophic, maud would always cheer her up and helped her smile. Maud always brings the best out of her. Like now, maud isn't next to her but she still smiles whenever she thinks of maud.
Wait....
Oh no....
"IM INLOVE WITH MAUD..." Mildred shouted in her head.
No, no. This can't be. I'm not Inlove with her, right? Technically, this isn't a problem because it's maud. But what if she rejects me? What if she ends our friendship?
A million what ifs was going through Mildred's head. She couldn't believe that she didn't realised that she was Inlove with maud. She doesn't know what to do.
Should she confess? Should she hide it? Should she pursued merlin instead?
Mildred was so confused. Instead of studying, she kept on thinking what to do.
