When Derek (only maybe older) rolls into town in search of his sister, he's met by Sheriff Stilinski. Sheriff Stiles Stilinski, whose best friend Scott McCall may or may not be a werewolf veterinarian and may or may not be married to the Argent princess, Allison.
Stiles' father, the former Sheriff, definitely is never going to let his son forget the incident that let him beat his father at the last election. Peter Hale may be really dead by now or maybe not. That new lawyer in town seems kind of suspicious. Stiles may or may not be in a friends with benefits relationship with Isaac Lahey, and may or may not have been involved in the accident that killed his father during their junior/senior year in high school. Erica Reyes is a permanent resident at the hospital - one of Melissa McCall's favorite patients because girls who have seizures that often usually can't pull off so much sass - and Vernon Boyd is a Marine on leave. Everyone is pretty sure Jackson Whittemore, Lydia Martin, and Danny Mahealani are in a torrid threeway romance whenever all three are in town at the same time, rather than jetsetting through Europe or on loan to the FBI.
These Hales have no idea what they've walked back into.
