Summary
Sometimes, your life struck you as something you would read about online. Then again, that's probably because, at one time or another, you had.A gathering of one-shots based off of Dialogue, OTP, and other one-shots based on prompts I find online. Most of them are pretty short, some off them can be seen as connected but aren't necessarily connected.
Note
We know Kakashi and Itachi worked together on ANBU for a while, and frankly the way Itachi looked up to Kakashi was adorable. We are also aware of the fact Kakashi was kind of an asshole when he was younger. Then I saw the dialogue prompt and this was born.

I Had A Thought-Naruto

Dialogue

Uzumaki Naruto

For such a simple mission, things had gone horribly wrong.  All you had to do was escort a merchant from one place to another, and now you were hiding in a shack surrounded by rogue shinobi that outnumbered you ten to one.  Considering the injuries the four of you had already sustained, things weren’t looking good.  Sakura was doing what she could to patch everyone up, but she needed to sustain a reasonable level of chakra if she planned on fighting herself.

I had a thought.”  Naruto broke the tense silence that had fallen after you had run out of plans.

Oh no.”  You couldn’t help the groan that slipped past your usually steely resolve.  You had made the rank of Jounin early, though not nearly as early as some, and had been put in charge of the mission.  You wanted to decline, in your experience everything went wrong whenever Team 7 was involved, but a teenage Jounin does not simply argue with Lady Tsunade.

I swear it’s a good one this time!” Naruto defended, moving quickly enough to jerk the injury he had taken to his side, wincing as he settled back down against the wall of the wooden shack.

“We’ll save your idea as a last resort,” Sakura spoke up as she finished healing the more serious wounds Sai had received while the four of you dashed to safety.

“You haven’t even heard it yet.”

You started massaging away the migraine forming behind your eyes, or attempted to, as you simply responded to the blonde, “We’re very aware of that.”
