Crayon
It's obvious that the three members of team seven thought that Uzumaki Naruto was not the sharpest nor the bright crayon in the box. Dumb -check, ramen loving -check, only cared about the next new jutsu- check and so on. Sakura hated naruto due to the fact her beloved Sasuke-kun always focused on Naruto the dumb baka. Sasuke hated Naruto due to the fact how strong Naruto was. It wasn't fair that he trained and trained all day and night ,but some how the dobe was still strong than him. He needed that power to kill him. Plus he was rookie of the year so he deserved the teaching more than the dobe. Then Kakashi looked at Naruto, and knew it was going to be a pain to teach the boy the basics. It hurt to look at the boy. He looked to much like sensei, and acted to much like kushina-nee. However the last Hatake had a feeling that he was missing something very important, and it was going to bite him in the ass painfully.
Natsu did not give two craps for what her team thought of her. They may not like Naruto, but due to the fact they could not look underneath the underneath them they do not deserve to know the truth. Naruto may not be a sharp nor a bright crayon, but they (team 7) truly taught her that they were the duller crayons that were ready to break, and she was going to enjoy that show when it came. When she was away in Mizu the truth was going to come out as her and the Sandaime agreed. Naruto already got what he wanted by showing he wanted to the world.
