Flowers
It was a sunny day in the digital circus, as it always was. Pomni and Ragatha were exploring since Caine’s AI had received a new update that added some new areas to the circus. Everything looked more serene. Beautiful trees were scattered around the lush grass of the outside. They had found themselves in a garden. Flowers in many different shades of red, blue, pink, and purple were littered around a quiet greenhouse.
“This is really beautiful,” exclaimed Ragatha, with a smile. “Don’t you agree, Pomni?” she asked softly. “Yeah. It’s nice.” Pomni said awkwardly. “It reminds me of how I used to have a garden..” Ragatha said, face dropping a little as her tone shifted to a sadder one at the memory. Pomni took notice of this. “Hey, uh… Ragatha..? Are you... okay..?” she asked worriedly. “Yeah. I just miss home, is all.” Ragatha said, snapping out of her daze. She took a red flower from the small garden and gently placed it into Pomni’s hair. “Here,” she said, “I.. think it looks cute on you..” she said while giving Pomni a soft smile.
