I am obsessed with Fruitpunch guys, I can't help it. I am also obsessed with this poem, so voila we have this, bare with me okay?

Gigi sat atop the Justice Headquarters, staring up at the starry sky. The winter chill couldn't stop the frantic fluttering in her chest as she took a deep, quivering breath, leaving a wisp of white in the freezing air.

Like always, her mind was preoccupied on Fauna. She had loved the green-haired lady from the minute they met, drawn in by the sound of her gentle laughter and the sweet touch of her hand against Gigi's scarred skin. It was an all-encompassing, all-consuming love that threatened to overtake her. She had attempted to suppress these emotions, to push them away, but they refused to be quiet.

Safe to say she was completely, helplessly in love with Fauna.

And tonight, she would face it, head on.

A more sensitive, reflective side of Gigi started to show as she looked up at the winter sky's glittering grandeur. A thoughtful quietness, a silent awe at the beauty all about her, counterbalanced the vibrant, contagious joy that so frequently emanated from the gremlin. Gigi leaned down and gently wrapped her tail around a small grem that was sleeping next to her. The creature's quiet breathing provided a calming contrast to Gigi's own introspective thoughts. She inhaled deeply and steadily, letting the cool night air fill her lungs as snowflakes swirled and whirled in the air, landing delicately on her face.

The constant, limitless energy that usually drove her onwards was replaced with a peaceful serenity, a chance to just be and appreciate the beauty of her surroundings. Although Gigi's heart still weighed heavily from her unsaid love for Fauna, she felt at ease in this peaceful area of seclusion.

"Gigi, is there a problem?"

Gigi felt her breath catch in her throat as Fauna approached, her long green hair floating gently in the breeze. The moonlight bathed her features, creating a beautiful, ethereal glow that highlighted her beauty. The chaser drew a steadying breath, quietly loathing the butterflies that danced in her tummy but decided to ignore them.

The night was perfect, Gigi felt like the world was cheering her on.

Let’s do this

Gigi took a deep breath, feeling the weight of her wordless feelings gradually dissipate.

"My dearest friend…"

She said softly, her voice shaking with vulnerability as she inadvertently drew closer to Fauna. The small grem, realising the severity of the situation, slowly awoke from its slumber and slipped away giving the two women solitude. Gigi's gaze moved upwards, her heart racing at the combination of emotions etched over Fauna's features - amazement and a faint, nascent affection. Gigi averted her stare, gathering her determination, refusing to get swept away by the enticing depths of her friend's gorgeous yellow eyes.

Not now, not yet.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to join you….by your side"

Gigi was momentarily taken aback as she saw Fauna's tears glisten, and a sense of panic washed over her. Had she misunderstood the situation? But then Fauna's soft nod pushed her on, and Gigi strengthened her resolve.

"Where we can gaze into the stars, and sit together now and..."

"Forever" Fauna concluded, her voice gentle and sweet.

Gigi's voice drifted off, and the words escaped her. Her eyes widened with surprise, shooting up to meet Fauna's. A sweet, reassuring smile spread across her companion's face, as if to calm Gigi's unsaid anxieties.

"I...know," Fauna said, her eyes flashing with mischief. "I heard you practice a lot, you know."

Gigi's mouth dropped open, and the well composed lines she'd practiced so many times were completely derailed.

"Then...then I guess you know the rest, right?"

She stuttered, her voice quivering slightly.

"I want to hear you say it," she murmured, her golden eyes gleaming with renewed love.

"I've been waiting, you know."

Wait is she moving closer?

Gigi could hardly comprehend what was happening in front of her. Fauna's proximity, the kindness in her glance, and the subtle invitation exceeded Gigi's expectations. The gremlin could only muster a shocked smile, her mind completely overwhelmed by the change of events.
Fauna chuckled softly, her golden eyes full of adoration.

"You are very beautiful, especially when you smile, do you know that?"

If Gigi could have melted into a puddle right there, she would have done so. The sentences she had diligently practiced in her head now sounded completely insufficient, rendered fully obsolete by this occurrence. Gigi took another breath as if her brain was forgetting temporarily that she needed oxygen and returned her gaze to the note in her fingers, hoping to regain her calm.

"And I thought I was charming you..."

She attempted a joke, but her attempt to defuse the situation was only partially successful. Fauna, however, seemed unfazed and continued to approach until their shoulders almost touched. She whispered in a sincere manner:

"You always charm me, Gigi,"

"Always have been."

Gigi couldn't resist a little, disbelieving laugh. This was certainly not how she had envisioned this conversation unfolding, but she should have expected Fauna to ruin her well-laid plans. However, at the same time Gigi was unable to ignore the wave of relief and happiness that washed over her. She plucked up the strength to look into Fauna's eyes, even though they were still filled with a mix of fear and hope.

"Do you still want me to finish it?"

Fauna nodded simply and earnestly in response. "Please," she said as her fingers extended to softly touch Gigi's.

"For it is plain as anyone can see..."

With all signs of hesitancy gone, Gigi's voice was steady. A world unto itself where only the two of them existed, appeared to be created by the gentle snowfall surrounding them.

"We are simply..."

"Meant to be."

Time seemed to pause as their lips locked, a fiery kiss that revealed the depth of the unspoken desire that had grown between them over the time as Gigi's tail gently wrapped around them both holding Fauna closer

An eternity to see each other clearly, a moment to entwine their soul.

"Merry Christmas, Gigi," Fauna said softly, her breath tickling Gigi's skin as she leaned her forehead against her lover's.

"Merry Christmas, Fauna."
