RUN
Hosu is in chaos.
Left, right, everywhere you look at, heroes are fighting against Nomus and evacuating civilians.
It is utter chaos.
Iida.
Midoriya.
Shouto.
Kakashi ran.
He runs, dodging attacks, debris, and people escaping. He runs, runs towards the area the three are in.
His father had been caught up fighting against the Nomus.
The mentors are helping, busy fighting the Nomus and evacuating people.
All of them unable to find his classmates, one his own student and another the person Tensei left him in charge.
Too soon .
He can't lose another person too soon.
Kakashi runs, he runs towards Stain.
It all started when they seperated. Each of them heading to where they would intern, some excited, others nervous.
Kakashi, despite his head buried in one of his books, took note of Iida. The other teen had been left to his care by Tensei, and Kakashi would be damned not to keep his promise.
Iida appears normal, albeit quieter than usual. But Kakashi can see better than anyone, and can see what the teen is hiding.
Iida has faint eye bags, most likely haven't been able to sleep right. He is tense, his mind not paying attention to the surroundings. Most of all, Kakashi knew the boy was interning for a hero in Hosu.
Hosu.
Kakashi is going to Hosu, despite his father mainly based in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.
His father does not work in Hosu, the last having been a case that collaborated with another hero, but it was years ago.
His father didn't say anything though, agreeing to Kakashi's request of patrolling Hosu for the internship week.
His father had also said nothing when Kakashi left him with a clone, though Kakashi can see a flicker of disappointment.
He must have wanted to spend more time with Kakashi.
Kakashi felt bad, but he had to keep an eye on Iida.
It is only for today, after that Kakashi would have his pack follow him instead.
Iida acted fine for the rest of the day, absently listening to his mentor, following the orders given to him, he was out of it but nothing suggested he would snap.
Doesn't stop Kakashi from spying.
He knows all too well how good people can be at hiding how they are slowly slipping.
Kakashi had seen it at Itachi before he killed his clan, had seen it at Sasuke just before he defected, he saw it at Neji when he fought to gain recognition, even at Sai when he was learning how messed up Root had been.
No, Kakashi would not stop keeping an eye on Iida.
Not until the end of this internship anyway.

He hears his father's voice, faintly talking about a restaurant, one with good reviews.
Food sounds good.
Kakashi figures that he should relax more, nothing has happened and the internship is ending soon.
Tonight is the last patrol.
The internship week is boring, dreadfully reminiscent of D-rank missions. Saving cats, helping old people cross the road, nothing out of the ordinary. The most 'dangerous crime' Kakashi stopped was a mugger with a knife and a weak quirk.
His father just stood there the whole time, documenting it for his albums.
In fact, if Kakashi is honest, the most exciting event was stalking Iida on the first day.
They made their way to the restaurant, stopping once to help a man looking for directions.
(At this rate, Kakashi should have just stayed at home.)
Dinner passed with no excitement, though Kakashi praised the reviews for being truthful. Their okonomiyaki is delicious and Kakashi would definitely come back for more. It is when dessert is served that everything goes wrong.
Kakashi's eye widens, his mouth gaping behind the mask as his kakigori flies away. His father's mochi suffered the same fate along with the table they were using.
His father strikes in action, fighting off the Nomu that dared to make Kakashi go on with no dessert.
That is a crime!
Kakashi internally cheered his father- no! He is not fanboying, what are you talking about? - as he made his way out of the restaurant, helping the civilians avoid the fight.
Outside was not as peaceful as Kakashi thought.
Everywhere is complete chaos.
People running away, their screams piercing through the night. Heroes fighting, their attacks barely hitting the enemies. He can smell smoke, the orange flames can be seen in the distance.
"Kakashi, run!" His father's voice was heard over the screams, sounds of fighting behind Kakashi.
Kakashi moved, but he did not run away. No, Kakashi runs toward the place where the fights are happening.
A dog's bark can be heard. Kakashi swiftly changed directions, heading towards the pug running to him.
"Kakashi-sama!" The summon huffed. Tadeo looked at him and spoke in a grave tone. "Stain has been spotted! Iida-san is in the scene. Midoriya-san and Shouto-kun are seen heading towards the area."
Shit.
Tadeo turns and leads him to the scene. Kakashi did not even think twice, following after the ninken.
Kakashi ran.
