A bit early
"W-who are you?" He looked over to the speaker, it was a blonde boy, near his own age.
"I-I, I'm I-i-i-zuk-k-k-ku M-m-m-midori-i-i-i-ya, p-p-please d-d-don't h-hurt m-m-me,"
"My name is Minato Namikaze, why are you out here?"
"I-i-i, r-r-ran a-a-away f-f-from h-home, t-t-they d-d-don't l-l-like me much,"
"Alright, well then," Minato frowned, "You can come with me!"
"W-w-with y-you?"
"Yeah, I live at the orphange though," Minato sighed, "So there's a chance they tell you're family where you are,"
"I-i-it's o-o-okay, t-t-they w-w-won't c-c-care m-m-much,"
"That sucks, but I guess it means you can come with me!"
"Come on man, you gotta work harder than that!" He teased lightly. A now thirteen Izuku and fifteen Minato were training together.
"C-come on b-bro, I-I'm still younger than y-you!" The greenette argued as he avoided another atack. His movements were undeniably slower than normal considering the weights Kushina had put on him in the form of seals.
"I know, I know, look, Lord Third is letting me study a fuinjutsu, called the Flying Raijin, would you want to learn it as well?"
"B-but I'm only eight!"
"You're also learning everything I can teach you, honestly you absorb it like a sponge and then five minutes later you've mastered it, are you sure you're not Uchiha?"
"No Sharingan," Izuku waved a hand in front of his eyes, "T-though i-it'd be s-s-sick,"
"On the plus, your stutter seems to be improving,"
"T-t-thanks," He smiled, still unsure of how to take genuine praise. "H-h-hey Minato?"
"Yeah?"
"C-c-could w-we g-g-go on our, o-own mission? J-just us? I-I h-had a f-f-friend f-f-from h-home, h-h-he n-needs r-rescuing,"
"We can go later tonight,"
"G-great, t-thank you!"
"But you still owe me ten laps of the training ground!" Minato laughed,
"I w-was, h-h-hoping y-you'd forgotten t-that," Izuku sighed, jogging off to begin his laps.
"Katsuki," Izuku whispered into the darkness, Minato was behind him. "Katsuki, it's me, Izuku,"
"I-i-izuku? Y-y-you're d-d-d-dead,"
"No, I found s-somewhere, somewhere b-better than here, c-come w-w-with me, y-you'll be s-safe," A hand was extended towards the boy's voice. They could see nothing in the basement of this house where Katsuki was being kept under lock and key.
"R-r-really?" He breathed,
"If you don't b-believe m-me, ask h-him,"
"Hi, Minato Namikaze," The bright blond smiled, "Pseudo older brother to one Izuku Uzumaki, since he is my girlfriend's little brother an all," Katsuki seemed overjoyed until they heard a banging.
"DEKU, YOU BETTER SHUT UP OR YOU'LL SLEEP OUTSIDE UNTIL YOU LEARN TO!" Izuku and Minato disappeared as a female look alike of Katsuki kicked in the door.
"I-I-I'm s-s-sorry K-k-katsumi, b-b-but I-I'm n-n-not m-m-m-making n-n-noise, I-I-I.... it w-w-was p-p-probably n-n-next d-d-doors d-do,"
"Are you saying I'm wrong Deku?" Katsumi slowly crossed the room, her hands clenching into fists.
"N-n-no Katsumi, I-I-I'm s-s-s-sorry!" Katsuki curled up on instinct. Izuku closed the door and flicked the lock on, before substituting back into the room. Minato put a hand on Katsumi's shoulder.
"You're not threatening my best friend's brother are you?" He asked in a sickly sweet tone as Katsumi looked over her shoulder, "Well?" A hand covered her mouth, "No shouting, because then I'll have to kill you, understand?" She nodded slowly, "Izuku, take Katsuki, go home," The greenette nodded,
"C'mon bro, let's go home," Izuku smiled, taking his friend's hand and disappearing with a body flicker. Minato faced Katsumi.
"Now, you seem earger to inflict pain, let's see how you recieve it," The next morning when her parents checked on the basement, they found Katsumi on the floor crying, her wrists and arms broken along with cuts, bruises and several more breaks all over her body, but Katsuki was missing. It was the strangest case of falling down the stairs a doctor had ever seen.
"Still don't accept it," Izuku folded his arms. Now himself a teenager, he stared at the group in front of him.
"C'mon Izuku," Minato deadpanned, "I'm eighteen, I can lead my own team,"
"You can barely lead me in training and that's one on one, throw Katsuki in and you panic more that Jiraiya getting caught near a bath-house!"
"That's a low blow and you know it!"
"Y-you're r-right, sorry J-jiraiya you have more c-composure than t-this i-idiot,"
"Why I oughta," Minato stalked forwards, rolling up his sleeves, "Come 'ere!" Izuku was suddenly trapped in a noogie. "Yield,"
"Never!" Izuku barked back, using a body flicker to escape. "Secret technique, one-thousand years of death!" Minato's eyes bulged as he jumped a decent ten foot into the air, clutching his backside.
"You son of a bitch!"
"I fail to see what my failures of parents have to do with this," Izuku frowned, despite the happier memories in Konoha, his mothers were still a sore spot to him.
"Your right, that's my fault, but can you please stop embarassing me in front of my students?"
"Sakumo's brat, the paradoxicaly popular Uchiha and the lovely Miss Nohara, I think I understand why these three were given to you,"
"W-what?"
"Prodigy, legacy and a civilian born kunoichi, it's frankly obvious that Pops doesn't trust you to teach three students at once,"
"I am offended,"
"Good, Hatake brat, where's your old man?"
"On a mission, he told Lord Third if you got back before him to send you as reinforcements," The greenette took a deep breath,
"Remind me to have a word with Sarutobi after I get back," With a quick substitution, he was gone.
"Alright, now that he's dealing with, whatever that is, it's time to test your skills," He pulled out a pair of bells, "Let's start shall we?"
"Izuku, I understand your concern,"
"My concern?" He interrupted the Third Hokage, "Lord Third, with all due respect, that mission was too advanced for a three man squad, even if it did have the White Fang in it, you're lucky his brat deigned it important enough to tell me I supposed to go be backup,"
"Your Rajin formula is a permanent seal marking,"
"Which is why I cover my kunai in it, let me give out a couple hundred kunai to the Chuunin and Jounin and give each squad leader a kunai for each mission,"
"You realize the offence people will take from the gesture?"
"Oh spare me their feelings, they're meant to do a job, if there's a chance of failure they're meant to call for back up, with my seals they will have the perfect SOS for me to respond to, as it stands I was barely in time to prevent Sakumo from having to choose between his team and the mission,"
"Which they managed to accomplish,"
"With my help, and only because I was there,"
"I must insist you rethink,"
"Do you? Do you really believe that?" Izuku narrowed his eyes, "Tell me that it isn't your warhawk buddy looking for excuses to recruit ROOT by having someone's team wiped out and pushing them into his trap,"
"You are sixteen young Izuku, do not,"
"And you are fifty-eight old man, yet here you are bending over backwards to appease other people," He barked back, "You are one of few men to live in a job where most die young, you are dangerous in your own right and have a better record than Danzo, so why are you letting him debate with you?"
"I'm trying to do what is best for peace,"
"Please, don't pretend, you're not addressing the issues with the Uchiha, hoping they'll solve themselves, do you even do any paper work, or is it just to make me think you're busy?" Swiping paper from the pile ready to be archived, he scanned through several different files, "Mission, mission, mission, increase in entry fee for travelling merchants, a deal with Suna to increase trade, a letter to Kumo agreeing to the diplomatic visit," He paused, "Hiruzen, when the fuck did you sign this?" Turning the note around, he repeated it as the hokage read it out. "Giving the civilian council permission to not inform you of unanimous decisions? Do you realize how badly,"
"I did not sign this paper, I have a list of documents my aide prepared for me to look at today and there is nothing about either of the councils involved, not even the Council of Elders is scheduled today,"
"So it appears you have a usurper in your midst," Izuku frowned, looking at the document again, "Should I burn it?"
"No, leave it as evidence, I shall keep it hidden away to make sure that it is not put into action, whoever informs the council that is has passed we can assume is either the traitor or part of the traitor's party,"
"I like it, now, back to my kunai idea,"
"Move!" Obito grabbed his team mate, pushing him as the boulder began falling.
"Hmph, you guys really aren't that quick-witted are you?" A flash of green and the group found themselves on the grassy plain just outside of where Rin had been held. The three Chuunin looked up to see Izuku with his arms folded, staring at them in disappointment and annoyance. "Hatake, you left a man behind, your father is going to be disappointed in you, Uchiha, you ran in without a plan, clearly your clan needs to teach you how to use strategy along with your dojutsu, Nohara you let yourself get captured and couldn't escape basic restraints, I thought Minato and I had taught you better, all three of you,"
"We would've been," Obito began, quickly silenced under Izuku's glare.
"You barely just unlocked your third tomoe Uchiha and that was the first time I have ever seen you and Hatake actually working together, maybe once this stupid hormonal situation is talked about, you'll work together better, because that improv? That was luck, that wasn't knowing your team, that was improvisation against enemies treating you as unknown weaklings, I'm honestly impressed that you could kill one of them, let alone beat the other one back, make no mistake though, I will be putting you through drills the moment we are back in Konoha and not even Katsuki will be able to help your sore muscles, understand?" Ever since they'd rescued the ash-blond, he'd devoted himself to being a medic, the people in Konoha's hospital had healed all of his injuries and grealy helped with his malnutrition and stunted growth. He was quickly rising through the ranks to be a top med-nin, closer to Tsunade than anyone was to him. Izuku eyed the three Chuunin below him, all refusing to meet his eye. "Hatake, I will talk to your father about your mission mindset because who knows what they could've gotten out of Nohara, Nohara, you and I will be working on more escape techinques, being unable to get out of that bind is a fail in basic courses, Uchiha, I'll talk to Minato about your go in jutsu blazing attitude, since it desperately needs to be fixed,"
"It worked didn't it? We got Rin out,"
"And you nearly died! How do you think your friends, team mates would've felt? How about your family? Minato, Kushina? How would you being stupid and getting yourself killed affect them?" Silence, "No, you were too busy trying to accomplish your mission of saving your team member, to busy trying to impress somebody, to actually think about what you were doing, it's not a game Obito, if you don't buck up your idea, people will die, regardless of your feelings,"
"I-I, I just, i wanted to help,"
"And that's an admirable trait, however if you guys get in over your heads, call for backup, you already have my kunai, if needs be I can put the marker on you directly," The three shook their heads. "Good, now, lets keep moving to the bridge, Minato is probably making sure the reinforcements don't arrive, once we get to the bridge I'll go get him," They moved into formation, "Oh no, Nohara, you're taking the lead, Uchiha, you're on the right, Hatake, come here for a minute," The silver haired pre-teen stepped forwards and Izuku put a hand to his eye, pushing healing chakra into it. "It's not perfect but try opening your eye,"
"I-I can see?"
"It's important to deal with wounds like that as soon as possible, considering your eye wasn't removed, it means that healing it is actually possible ans since your eyelid didn't heal closed yet, it meant I could return your sight to you, the scarring however will remain, let it be a lesson to you, all of you, now, Hatake, take left, I'll take rear and keep an eye on the lot of you,"
"You've certainly got quite a party going on here partner," Izuku chided, "A the Unruly, Killer B, some cloud nin and... who is this?"
"Yugito Nii, that's all you need to know Konoha,"
"Yugito Nii? You don't look much older than I do, I want to say, fifteen? Fourteen?" Her frown made him smile, "Oh, you are fourteen? Not much younger than sixteen year old me then, however the guys around you look at least twenty, so what reason do you have to be here?" Their stances all changed, "Minato, tell the other guys to retreat,"
"Wha-,"
"Running away are you?"
"Be quiet A, I'll get to you in a moment, Minato, any day now," He scattered kunai across the area,
"Guys, fall back, Izuku and I can handle this," The blond followed his lead, "You know what you're doing right?"
"Of course I do, who do you take me for, Obito?" He smirked, "Cloud nin we can take down easy, the only thing A has is speed, which we trump in spades, our issues lie with the girl and him," Izuku flicked his he at B, "Now I'm no genius but one guy called A and another called B, they have to be related, Kumo has a habit of having the eight tails jinchuriki being the Raikage's family member, son and brother sound good enough? Now, why would they let a fourteen year old kunoichi, barely out of the academy on a mission in the middle of a war without her own squad," Turning to face Minato he waited for the man to answer.
"She doesn't have one,"
"No, Kumo tends to only use a two man squad for jinchuriki, meaning that they've switched things up and A here is,"
"Enough talk!" A barked, charging forward in a blue chakra field. Izuku barely looked over his shoulder as both men disappeared in flashes of light. Minato moved to a kunai in a tree and immediately bounced back to his dropped kunai, ready to land a killing blow. An octopus tentacle pushed the shinobi out of the way in time though, letting itself be cut off. Minato planted a hand on it and pushed away from it.
"We won't be done in so breezey, better get ready cause we ain't easy," B rhymed.
"Unlikely," Everyone froze at the sound of Izuku's voice echoing "Considering you didn't keep track of all our kunai," Yugito remained still as his blade sat just in front of her neck, his arm reaching over his shoulder. His other hand left his seal on her back. "Now, how about we all calm down and go our seperate ways,"
"You dare," A began,
"Don't forget A, the two of us have decimated legions of ninja by ourselves, not to mention the time we foiled your attempt to kidnap the Nine-tails from Konoha, I think some payback is in order, which Jinchuriki do you like more?" His eyes narrowed, "Which one is your charge? Your brother B? No that's too obvious, but it's easier to cover someone with more experience than Nii, so which is it?"
"Why you!" A charged back to the group, ready to try and capture him, only for the teen to flicker away in a green flash. The group then jumped away from any of the kunai, standing in branches above them, "Let's see you use your little tricks now," A growled, once again running at them with his chakra enhanced speed. Both men stood side by side, waiting for him to grow closer. The fist was millimeters away from them when they moved.
"We're a lot harder to touch than you think," Minato spoke calmly, his kunai inches away from the back of B's head. Izuku smirked as he crouched in front of Nii, a kunai pointed to her throat. "There's a reason we are known as the Yellow Flash and Green Death, care to see it?"
"I'm prepared for a mutual strike, so shall we stab each other with these spikes?" B grunted as he held one of his swords backhanded to Minato's gut. Yugito had extended claws ready to stab Izuku's right eye. The sound of bells chimed through the forest.
"Our forces have succesfully gotten away, you have just been distracted," Izuku grinned, they filled the area with flashes as they both collected their kunai. The greenette stood behind Yugito once more. "Our markings our permanent little kitty," He murmured, "That makes you my prey, nobody else can hunt you," And then the Konoha nin were gone like a breeze, leaving only the Kumo nin behind. There was several beats of silence before Yugito cried,
"Wait, was he flirting with me?!"
"Alright, that's enough!" Izuku grabbed the crackling hand and lifted it into the air, taking the body of the small boy up with it. "Kakashi, behave, Rin, you stand down, Obito, come and make yourself useful," His eyes looked around at the Kiri ninja, "As for you lot, buzz off," They struck ready stances, "You want to go against Konoha's Green Death? Be my guest," Throwing a hail of kunai around thte area, the green flashes made the dark field seem like it was the middle of the day. Whoever wasn't slain began rapidly retreating. "That should do it, now onto you three, Nohara, you allowed yourself to be capture again,"
"They knocked me out,"
"And yet here you are, wide awake,"
"They let me escape Izuku-sensei! They sealed the Three-tails inside of me with a seal that will make it go rampant once we reach Konoha, you have to kill me, to protect everyone,"
"No, I don't, show me the seal," Showing her midriff to him, Izuku looked at the black symbols, poking one with his finger. The scenery changed to a dark plane, a giant turtle like creature sitting behind Rin. "Ah, hello,"
"Who are you?"
"Call me whatever you want, I'm here to make sure this one," He pointed at Rin, "Doesn't die and you, don't destroy my home," Looking closely at the seals on the chains holding it back, he hummed. "They've put in a Forbidden Individual Curse Tag, it'll affect the seal but I can remove it without removing the seal itself, what should we call you Three-tails?"
"Isobu, you may call me Isobu," Izuku put a hand to the chain and began peeling the marks off it. "It's interconnected to the seal, so that it knows to activate when you sense familiar chakras, Uchiha, Hatake and myself aren't enough to trigger it but if Minato and Kushina were here as well, you'd relax enough for it to take over," More writing glowed and faded away as he kept moving. "Once I get rid of the connections I can rip the tag straight off,"
"Y-you can?" Rin whispered,
"Of course, I learned alongside Minato, we're both masters of fuinjutsu, I've just got better chakra than he does," Izuku gloated, "Now, back to reality," They were in the soaked field, "Where did they put the tag?"
"On my back," Rin turned around, showing him the tag pressed to her skin.
"This may sting, so I'm going to pull it on three, ready?" She nodded, "One,"
Rrriip
Rin squealed in pain before composing herself. "There, now we can go home, man those Kiri nin really screwed up, now we have two jinchurikis,"
"Oh fuck!" Izuku stepped away, "Minato, why the fuck didn't you tell me Kushina was due soon?!" He yelled to the air as he ran towards the great orange fox. Disappearing in a flicker, he moved to the markers he'd left all over the village. Working with the Third, he organized search and rescue parties along with the evacuation orders. The Akimichi clan used their body expansion to push the Nine Tails away from the village and limit damage. Running after them, he weaved the handsigns and slowly began growing, "Thank you Chozo for sucking at poker," He'd only been taught the jutsu because he'd won a bet and sworn not to tell anybody else. Joining the group of literal giants, he slid through them and delivered a superman punch, knocking the beast backwards. "Guys, I got this," Staring at the beast he growled. "Right, you little shit, you're going to stop, this instant," A roar in response, Izuku tongued his cheek, "You don't want to destroy this place," Frenzied eyes looked at him, a Sharingan over them. Great, so he was under a genjutsu. Whoever could've done that?
"Izuku, do you,"
"No, I think I know what to do," He poured chakra into his hand and lifted it above his head. The Nine-tails bared his fangs at him before Izuku's hand planted on top of his head. Suddenly everyone stared at the giant shinobi giving the Nine-tailed Fox head scritches. He was also pourin chakra into the beast, breaking the genjutsu. Once he felt it was done, he stopped the scratches and watched as he was restrained by chakra chains. Dropping down to his normal size, Izuku warped over to Minato and Kushina, finding them stood together, ready to reseal the fox into her. "Wait," He called out quietly, walking over to them, "Seal it into him,"
"Into.... Naruto?" They both asked dumbly,
"Yes, the Nine-tails can only be sealed into a child remember? Their unformed chakra coils make it easier for them to contain his power, since he was drawn out of Kushina, it'd be harder for her to control him if we reaseal him into her, also can we talk about how you guys weren't going to tell me Kushina was going in to labour so I could help?"
"You were busy,"
"I was shopping for this weeks menu, don't spin me that cock-and-bull," He waved a hand, "Let's just seal him away and get on with putting whoever's behind this to trial,"
"Danzo had already been detained, ROOT is now being dispanded by the ninja I trust most,"
"You left Obito in charge of making sure documents were organized?"
"Rin and Kakashi are there too!"
"You left Obito... in charge of organisation?"
"You two stop bickering and seal Kurama, I want to go to sleep!" Kushina barked at them both,
"Sorry, sorry," They both rubbed the back of their head and began setting up the jutsu.
"Hiashi, Hizashi," Izuku greeted cordially as he stood over the bodies. "I found these guys trying to make their way to the border, with some rather precious cargo," On his back rest a sleeping Hinata Hyuuga, who was only four years old. "They're both currently alive right now, so we can take them in for questioning," His eyes paused when he saw Hizashi's forehead, "Then we can talk about the Caged Bird Seal on Hizashi's forehead, hm?"
"It's a clan affair,"
"It's slavery," He shot back, "Maybe I'll apply the seal to you Hiashi, see how you like it," Grabbing both of the Kumo-nin, he kept Hinata balanced on his back. "Let's go," They disappeared in a flash of green. Minato scrambled up from his desk as he looked around.
"Mh, huh? No I wasn't sleeping,"
"I don't particularly care right now Minato," Izuku grunted, dropping the nin in his hands, "Because we have another incident," Gently he put young Hinata onto a chair, "The diplomatic deligates, they left ahead of schedule, with Hinata Hyuuga in their luggage, I swiped their papers, take a look," Putting them on his desk, he watched the blond read each line, growing more and more furious by the second.
"Wake them up," Izuku smiled and slapped both ninja. "You have some nerve, faking a diplomatic meeting, trying to kidnap one of our own and then commit suicide if caught so that we owe you a body or risk war," His hands laced together in front of his face, "Your Raikage is either stupid, or dumb, does he really, really believe Kumo can stand another war? Does he?" Both remained silent, their hands moving around their bodies. The sound of metal clinking made them panic and look to see Izuku dropping their kunai on the floor.
"Completely disarmed, neither of you are going anywhere, well, until the Raikage pays what we're owed," Izuku snarled, "Can I?"
"Take the documents, go pay A a visit, make sure he knows we aren't taking this laying down," Minato snapped his fingers and several of the ANBU stationed around his office restrained the Kumo ninja, "Meanwhile we're going to take a trip to T and I,"
"Orochimaru would love some test subjects," Izuku added sinisterly as he picked up the papers and disappeared in a flash.
Yugito woke up thanks to a bright flash, trying to sense any form of chakra nearby. When nothing struck her as odd, she laid back down to sleep. Until the fluttering of a small breeze snapped her eyes open again, she slept with her windows shut, every night. Quickly making it over to the window, she stared into the village, trying to clue it together, until a small figure jumped between spires and a memory flashed from the back of her mind. Changing quickly, she burst from her house and charged straight after him.
The door to the Raikage's office held to resistance as Izuku kicked it off its hinges. Behind him, hordes of Kumo-nin lay unconscious. He needed to make a point, but piling up bodies gave A the higher position. "A Konoha nin is bold enough to attack me in my,"
"I'm here for repayment,"
"You are in no position to make,"
"So this signature isn't yours?" He threw the papers to the floor, "Trying to kidnap a Konoha citizen is a bad idea, a child from a ninja family even worse, a child from one of the clans? Now you've fucked up A, that's enough to spark a war between us and looking at the hall behind me, I don't think you'd win this one either," His eyes narrowed, "So, you're either going to meet our demands, or," A kunai thudded into the ceiling, "I'll head back and get permission from my Hokage to wipe out your entire force here and now," He moved to the kunai as Yugito's claws swiped thin air. B wasn't far behind her, his own swords out to fight. "So Raikage, are you going to listen or is this going to get, uglier than that pitiful moustache,"
"You," Yugito narrowed her eyes.
"Hello Yugito, it's been what, six years? Still as beautiful as you were in the forest, B, you look to be in good health, like the facial hair," Both jinchuriki stared at him. "So Raikage, what'll it be?"
"What are your demands?"
"Kumogakure will be providing more ore to the leaf, we'll be reducing your quota of wood by half, and since we have both of your deligates as political prisoners but you don't have any of ours, I'm taking one of your ninja back with me," The Raikage seethed quietly, "You have none to blame but yourself Raikage, maybe in a few years we can sort this whole thing out, for now, I'll deliver your men back to you once I get Yugito settled in," A silence settled over the room, "It is the price you pay Raikage, the only one you can be angry at is yourself," Grabbing the jinchuriki, they disappeared in a flash of green. "This is my house, my bedroom, you can use the bed, I'll sleep on the sofa,"
"What's your angle?"
"You aren't a prisoner if that's what you mean, you've merely swapped from a Kumo-nin to a Konoha-nin, therefore after a brief probation you will be put out on missions in a two or three man squad, even if it's against Kumo, for now you are a guest in my house, so I will treat you as such, take the bed, do whatever you must to make yourself comfortable, I will make sure the men are healed and sent back to Kumo safely, then we'll need to talk with the Hokage about your 'adjustment period',"
"Oh sweet lord, you put Obito in charge of them,"
"He is a very capable,"
"Obito? As in Obito Uchiha, the guy who couldn't do his own laces until he was fifteen? That Obito Uchiha, right,"
"Correct,"
"And you've put him in charge of team Seven?"
"I'm not seeing what the problem is," Minato shrugged as he leant back in his chair. Shadow Clones were out doing the work for him as he now sat in his home, having a drink with Izuku.
"Obito Uchiha, the man who is chronically late, to everything, in charge of a team with your hyperactive son, Itachi's brooding younger brother and a civilian borne kunoichi of the year that's showing signs of abuse?"
"Abuse?"
"Yeah, she's got similar issues that I had before you invited me to live in the orphanage with you," Izuku shrugged, "She looks to be in a place similar to Katsuki before we rescued him,"
"I'll ask Katsuki to look into her mental state while I question her parents, now, why are Sasuke and Naruto a problem?" Izuku lifted his sleeve over the lower half of his face.
"I work alone," He growled, eyes looking everywhere, "I 'm an Uchiha I don't need some losers holding me down," His arms dropped as he smiled widely, "Uncle Obito, Uncle Obito, wanna have a ramen eating competition!! Look at the new trick my Shadow Clones learned! I'll be Hokage as well, so you best work your butt off!" Minato leant forwards, putting his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands.
"What have I done?"
"That's what I'm asking," Izuku waved a hand, "No matter, when do I go check in on them?"
"Once you grow a pair and ask Yugito to move in with you,"
"Y-you know she never moved out right?" Izuku raised an eyebrow, "I could've sworn we spoke about it before her probation, she was using my bedroom while I took the couch,"
"And you still aren't together after five years?"
"Minato, we joined you and Kushina at the couples event at the last Rinne-festival, we've been together for over a year now," He just stared ahead in silence,
"Man I really have been working too hard lately," They lapsed into silence for a moment, "Hey, whatever happened to your plan of changing your home? You said you wou;d go back when you were old enough for university, whatever that is,"
"Oh, no, I'll be going back but at the same time, I just, I don't want to put up with all the bigotry, so someday, Katsuki, Yugito and I will head back and just force it to change,"
"Really? When?"
"Whenever I think you can survive on your own for twenty minutes,"
"That's harsh," Minato whined.
"Fine, fine, we'll go in a month, when Naruto's first mission is a success,"
Japan didn't know what hit it. The government was scrambling for any information they could find. Nothing had appeared on radar, no satellite imagery. A male storage compound was hit in an attack and all of the livestock occupants were missing. The Tenya family were in hot water when a very much alive Iida Tenya was seen on camera for a brief moment for being consumed by a green flash, Moku Yaoyorozu went missing in the same way. Even Endeavor's son disappeared, preceeding her daughters arrest for prostituting their brother, against his will nonetheless. Things were quiet for a day or two before another compound was hit, then another, and another. Male after male went missing, they mentioned the unknown threat at a UN council, pleading to know if any country had seen something similar. Then Melissa Shield disappeared from I-island and everyone began to panic. The CEO of Deternat was found dead in her home along with legions of evidence tying her and a whole horde of people to a terrorist group thought to be beaten. Japan entered a state of panic, wondering where their males had gone and trying to figure out how to make deals with other countries to recieve some and keep their population stable.
Then American compounds were hit, then Canadian, Chinese, Korean, Russian, it took a month before every country was getting these phantom attacks that stole the male populus. If that wasn't bad enough, the research into using two egg cells was also destroyed, entire servers turned to melted slag and labs gon up in smoke. It became a major crisis as people began searching for ways to give themselves longer lives. The newest generations realized that they were in fact the last of humanity living in the world. At least, that's how it felt until the newest generations began discovered the very few infant males left on the planet. Word spread quickly about their last hopes of survival being hidden by greedy mothers looking to make billions.
Until those boys went missing too.
Barely older than four, the last males were stolen from their cribs in the dead of night. Any news about artificial reproduction attempts were quickly followed by the same places being raided by the phantoms. Nothing lasted. Hope was dashed as quickly as it appeared, they tried going about as normal but everyone knew, they were witnessing the end of history.
Then in a forest just outside of Musutafu, men began appearing. The response time was minutes as government agents rushed to try identify which country the men came from. But they weren't expecting the men to attack. They spewed fire and water, wielded blades of lightning, threw storms and moutains around like leaves on a breeze. Heroines tried to stop them but not one was able to withstand the onslaught. Some were killed, such as Ms Joke or Slidin' Go, others were left maimed, like Endeavor and Rumi, or the newly minted ones like UA's classes 1A and 1B. Many had given up before the men had truly won victory. Thanks to the video showing a single greenette man beat All Might herself. Thanks to the fact the crowd was stunned, his words were heard clearly and sent ripples around the world.
"I gave you time, I hoped my disappearance would've changed how you felt, but you only grew worse Hizani Midoriya, you grew more desperate to find such a capable succesor," He gestured to the beaten Lemillion by the side of the battle. "You overlooked Melissa, able to do whatever she put her mind to, simply because like you, she didn't have a quirk at least until you were given one, I have fought shinobi with better evasion skills than she, and more that are stronger than you," She was over on her knees, the one working arm supporting her body. "I've learned a lot in the time I was gone, and that is that the ignorant only learn through violence, so here you are mother, am I strong enough yet?" Her face fell as she looked up to his.
"Izuku?"
"So you do remember my name," He snarled, "I thought I was just Deku to you,"
"Y-you b-b-but h-h-how?"
"It feels nice to hear you being scared for once, instead of scaring me," Drawing his sword, he frowned, "It's because, I've worked hard, unlike that whore of a daughter you raised that gets by solely on her quirk," As his dropped, it began hovering in mid air.
"Don't even dare la-urk," Izumi Midoriya fell as a senbon needle protruded from her neck.
"Your muscles are frozen, you won't be able to breath," Killing All Might without a second thought, he looked over to the new heroine. "You'll die in a minute or so, unless you beg me to take it out,"
"P-Please," She gasped desperately, face already flushing red. "P-P-please," A finger rested either side of the senbon.
"Say my name,"
I-i-izuku, M-m-midoriya," Wheezing, her hand grabbed his ankle.
"My name is Izuku Namikaze, whoever you're pleading with died a long time ago," Sneering, he pulled the senbon out quickly. Izumi gulped down air, "But I suppose I'll let you live, if you run away and never stop," His hand grabbed her neck, burning his seal marker into her skin. "Because if you stop for a moment, I'll know, and I'll finish what I've started, daughter of All Might," Izumi turned and fled as fast as she could as he watched her flee. The video went viral as it showed the killing of the number one heroine and the absolute humilation of a defeat for the most popular upcoming heroine. Anarchy soon descended on Japan as the males got their revenge, turning the wardens into prisoners. Forcing the women into the very compounds they themselves caged the men in. It remained that way until most of the world had lost heir heroines. The ones left behind were picking up the pieces of society, women who'd had their worldview twisted upside down by men that struck without being seen, communicated without being heard. They lived in fear of every shadow, every creaking door. Looking over their shoulders to make sure no man was there waiting to take them. The tables had turned now, the women, who treated men like commodities and objects were now in fear of when a man would strike and leave her as nothing more than a broodmare. As if to keep the fear ever present, a woman would simply disappear without a trace one day, only for every to later learn she was quirkless, it left them wondering why only the quirked women were left behind until they realized.
They were left behind to die.
The last dreggs of humanity were watching their history end as the men once again receded into the forests and did not return. It was a decade later, when the attack was nothing more than a horrible memory that the men returned again, this time simply walking into the capital cities and congregations to claim victory. No-one dared to try stop them again.
Nobody could.
So Izuku sat on his metaphorical throne in the headmasters office of the school that had once been UA. His wife, Yugito Namikaze sat beside him, overlooking the city as men paraded across the rooftops. "Do you like the view, Izumi?" He asked, looking to his side. Sure enough the same heroine that had fled from his those years ago, now hung, chained against the wall, forced to look out over the city she once called home as woman after woman was subjugated to the same caged life that every man alive had been trapped in. She stared at him in response, barely holding back her tears. "Good, I'm glad, now Izumi, do you remember when you said a heroine always wins?" A broken nod, "Good, good, then I suppose this counts as a victory for you, right?" She remained silent, only staring as she kept from weeping, "Oh, no, that's right, even though I'm so weak and useless
I win,"
