Adoration/ part 1/1
——————
After Tobirama was summoned on the future and was asked to participate in the 4th shinobi war, he started planning his drastic plan to change everything. He does this while fighting, his mind far away from the battle that he’s engaged in.
He knows that the common denominator to Madara’s fall is the death of Izuna of him killing Izuna. So he will start with that.
He finished his initial planning as he surveys the battlefield, so many wasted deaths, and for what? For some slime shit who wants to be with his stupid mother.
After the war has been won, he walked straight towards the one who started it all, the Sage of six paths.
On his way to the said man who’s talking to the young Naruto and Sasuke, he stumbled upon the scene where Madara and Hashirama were saying their apologies and goodbyes. Good for them, now their souls will be at peace.
He continues to walk, ignoring the ache that he felt in his chest.
He waited until the Sage was alone when he approached him.
“Ah, Senju Tobirama. I was waiting for you.”
“I have a proposition.”
“I know.” The Sage smiled knowingly.
——————
Time Travel or rather a soul travel, that was his plan, but the Sage has only given him a limited time. A year max, for him to make some changes, but he can pick the exact date when he will return.
That’s more than enough time for him to change things. Things that he knows are important to change the future.
Things like not killing Izuna.
And things that he wanted to do, for himself, like making sure that no children will die by his hands, forced or not.
He’s chosen to come back a year before he historically killed Izuna, which will give him enough time to write everything important once his original soul comes back. He’s pretty confident that his other self will believe everything that he will write.
——————
He treated his comeback in the past like a mission, with no pauses and no rest, just making sure that everything will run out smoothly, no room for any mistakes.
First thing that he had done is to make sure to save every Uchiha child that has been hunted down by eye thieves. Making sure to retrieve every child and will not stop until he killed every hunter there is.
Second is to hunt down Zetsu and seal Kaguya this time for good, he just followed the sage’s advice, and the stupid mother and son duo are sealed for eternity and to never be seen nor heard ever again. He also makes sure that the fake stone tablet is destroyed for sure.
Third is to draft the treaty properly and make sure to fix every mistake that will happen, mistakes like Danzo will. He also writes a timetable for his other self to find and fix everything.
Fourth is to plant a seed of peace in the minds of the younger generation of Senju, making his brother’s appeal not fall on deaf ears.
Fifth is to write everything that he had gathered about healing the eye problem that the Uchiha’s are having, that can be used for the Uchiha’s to properly trust the Senju’s and the village.
Sixth is to talk to the Bijuus, now that Kaguya is gone and no imminent threat will resurface he asks them for peace and protection. They immediately agreed when they saw Sage’s mark in his soul.
“We will give you warning, Tobirama, for you are a few of your kind to look at us and not see us as a weapon.” One of the Bijuus have spoken
“You should be weary, human, for your soul is marked by another. One that is more powerful than us combined. One that loved hard that it turns to cruelty.”
“You will be loved so much, but too much can be harmful, and sometimes deadly. But not to you, never to you. But for the others that you will touch.”
Then the last warning came from Karuma himself “Dread it, Run from it, Destiny Arrives all the same. It’s a matter of what you will do if you’ve been captured from their grasps.”
He ignored the warning and continues with his mission, the last one, the one that he’s waiting for.
Seventh is to make sure that he will not in any means harm Izuna, and to make sure that someone, hopefully many, can see it. See how he has the opportunity to strike but didn’t. For the Uchiha’s to see that his brother meant the peace that he's propositioning.
And thankfully, many Uchiha did see it, for they were watching him, for reasons that he didn’t know and doesn’t want to know, and luckily Madara saw it too.
Tobirama was so relieved that his plans have worked out, and that his soul can now rest, that he didn’t see Izuna’s katana piercing his lower abdomen.
But he did see Izuna’s horrified look when he started coughing blood, the speed of his rival when he started to fall down.
Pity, he thought, that he wouldn’t see at least the start of the peace talk awake, he’s not worried that he would die. He could already feel his brother’s cooling chakra fast approaching him, with the addition of the hot chakra also approaching him.
But he wants to at least be able to stay for the first speech of his brother, or even the first announcement of retreat. The sound of the peace that will come. But he can already feel the pull of death for his soul, his brother reached him in time for him to ask to be brought to his room after his healing. So that his other self can read everything.
Death pulled him even before he could hear his brother’s response.
——————
Tobirama wakes up thinking that he’s in the pure lands and will be reunited with his brothers, but when he looked around he was greeted by another scenery, he’s at a top of a mountain that was surrounded by the sea on the other side and by some forest on the other.
There was a cave at the side of the mountain and when he went to inspect he sees a floating woman, with hair as black as the night, with skin as pale as the moon, with lips as bright red as the forbidden vermillion, and eyes as red as blood.
The woman smiled at him and floats near him, he readies himself to attack.
“No need to fret, my son, you’re home.”
“You’re not my mother” Tobirama answers “Where am I? The Sage promised me to take me back home to the pure lands.”
“But darling, you are home.” The woman insisted, a smile etched in her ethereal face. “And you don’t need to waste your precious time to that retched-unnatural being.”
Her appearance and her words suddenly clicked in Tobirama’s mind. “You’re the goddess of the Uchiha. You’re Amaterasu. Deities are real.”
“I am her. And we are real.” She smiled again, rather joyfully. “But you should call me mother.”
“You’re not my mother. My mother is in the pure lands together with my brothers.”
“She’s nothing but a vessel, my son, for you to have a mortal body. Nothing more, nothing less.” Her voice may sound heavenly, but he can feel her wrath seeping in. “But enough about that, you still have something to do for me.”
She went near Tobirama, it was too fast that he wasn’t able to dodge the kiss on his forehead properly, and suddenly he feels sleepy, like his whole body becomes heavy like lead and something is trying to close his eyes.
“Sleep, my dear boy, and when you wake up, there’s a whole new world that awaits you. A world that’s yours to begin with.”
Tobirama can feel her hands caressing his face as she continues speaking.
“And you will be loved, so loved.”
He suddenly remembers the warning of the Bijuus to him.
——————
Tobirama wakes up again, but this time he’s up at a tree, and he feels so exhausted. He tries to shake his head and looks around, when he suddenly felt an each on his arms, he rolls his sleeves and sees that there’s something written on it.
‘Run, just run. Hide and make sure you’re not followed. Trust no one.’
It was new, and he can see that he has written it at a rush pace. A cold sweat runs in his back as he follows what his other self has written. He tries to remember things but nothing is coming into his mind.
He started losing his breath when he reached the meadow, and he felt that there is something wrong. His chakra felt wrong, his body felt wrong. He looked down and sees that there is something in his stomach. A large bulge, like a big lump or tumor, growing inside of him.
He’s so tired, he never felt like this before. He can’t run anymore, he can feel the hunger and thirst clawing inside of him. His exhaustion pulling him down the ground.
“Mother?” Someone called, making Tobirama whip his head to where the sound is coming.
A young child, with black hair and pale skin, but with red eyes. Same as his.
“Mother?!” The child repeated, making Tobirama flinched from his musings.
He looks around and sees no one. “Are you lost?” He asked, ignoring something that is clicking in his mind.
The child laughs like there is something amusing in his question. “Mother are we playing a game again? You know you should not be exhausting your body when your near birthing.”
The child, Tobirama horrifyingly understood, is talking to him. As he puts one hand on his stomach and feels a chakra flowing inside there. Another human is inside of him.
“What? How?!” He screams at no one. Tobirama is panicking as he felt multiple chakras going on his way. “I have to go.” He says to the kid as he tries to run the other way.
The child just looks at him and smiles “Oh, you’re back.”
Tobirama ignores the child and continues to walk away, not having the strength to run.
“Mother-savior is back!” The child screams at the people coming near him.
He almost sighs a relief when he first near the forest when a hot chakra almost knocks him down on the ground, but strong hands were able to stop him from meeting the forest floor.
“How’s the trip from the past?” The owner of the arms where he is in asked him, his voice familiar.
“Madara?” He asks as he was carried bridal style.
“No more running away from me, beloved.”
And the darkness welcomes him again for the third time.
——————
As Madara was carrying him, some of the memories came to him.
Memories of the peace talks,
Of his and Madara’s arrange marriage as part of the treaty,
Of their peaceful life,
Of him finding out about the real message in the stone tablet.
Of the reason why the Uchiha’s are watching him on the battlefield
Of his role as Amaterasu’s avatar
Of him trying to run away
Of him birthing many kids
Of the possessiveness of the Uchiha’s love.
