Kakashi didn't show up till the sun had risen high in the sky, and Sakura and Naruto were slumped on the ground whining. Sasuke ignored them to the best of his abilities while Madara snoozed away.Β
She still looked terrible and the sunlight just illuminated the everything wrong.
She didn't so much as flinch when Kakashi made his presence known, Sakura and Naruto screeching, "You're late!"
"Well, a black cat crossed my path so I had to take the long way," he lied without so much as flinching. A shitty excuse.
Naruto growled, Sakura glowered and Sasuke scowled. Madara continued to sleep as if nothing was wrong.
"Well," Kakashi cleared his throat looking over to where Madara was sleeping before leaving her be. She'd figure it out eventually. "Let's get started."
He walked over to four posts in the middle of the field, and placed an alarm clock on top of one. "Here we go, it's set for noon."
"Huh?"
The sound of jingling was heard as Kakashi pulled out three bells. "Your assignment is very simple," he dangled them in front of the three conscious Genins. "You just have to take these bells from me. That's all there is to it."
"If you can't get'em by noon, you go without lunch."
Two stomachs growl and Sasuke silently thanked his sister for the tea that morning as Sakura and Naruto wailed.
"You'll be tied to those posts and you'll watch while I eat my lunch in front of you."
They all quietly despaired, well except Naruto who voice his anguish out loud and Madara who to this moment was still dead asleep in her sleeping bag.
Sakura then couldn't help but notice something, "Why are there only three bells?"
Kakashi smiled a close eyes smile, "heh, well, that way, at least one of you will end up tied to a post and ultimately disqualified for failing to complete the mission."
He shook the bells mockingly, "That one goes back to the academy. Then again, all four of you could flunk our too."
Naruto growled while Kakashi continued,"You can use any weapons, including shuriken. If you're not prepared to kill me, you won't be able to take the bells."
"Those weapons are too dangerous, Sensei," Sakura protested.
Naruto let out a laugh, "Especially since you couldn't even dodge that eraser."
Kakashi fixed Naruto with a look of contempt, "Class clowns are usually the weakest links. You can safely ignore themβlowest scores, losers," he mocked Naruto.Β
"When I say start, you can begin."
Naruto's temper had already gotten the best of him as he let loose a growl, pulling a kunai from his weapons pouch he launched himself at their sensei.
Kakashi caught his fist and pulled Naruto's arm back so he was aiming the kunai at his own neck, hand gripping the blondes hair keeping him in place.
"Don't be in such a hurry, I didn't say start yet," Kakashi scolded.
He let Naruto go causing the blonde to stagger forward.
"But, you came at me with the full intention of destroying me, so. How can I say this? I'm actually starting to like you guys."
He trailed his over them in a bored manner, "Get Ready...and...Start!"Β
Sasuke and Sakura shot off into the forest as fast as they could, to hide
Madara let loose a quiet snore as she rolled over away from the light.

"Leaf village secret finger jutsu! A thousand years of death!" Kakashi stuck his fingers into the Kyuubi's rectum sending him flying though the air in pain.
Standing up, holding his favourite book, make out tactics in one hand he looked around the clearing and spotted Uchiha Madara sleeping snugly within her sleeping bag.
His eye glinted evilly, "No what we going to do about you Hime-chan," he cackled to himself as he pulled out two shuriken and launched them in her direction. The girl didn't so much stir and as the two shuriken hit, a log took the sleeping girl's place.
Kakashi cocked a brow, "She must have done the substitution jutsu when I was busy with the knuckle head. Smart," he spoke out loud.
Sakura let out a shocked sound from where she hid, while Sasuke didn't so much as raise a brow.
While Kakashi was busy muttering to himself as he went to look for his students. He didn't notice the black bird watching him keenly.

Madara was exhausted.
Not only did it feel like someone clobbering her over the head with thousands of mini hammers. She felt like she was wading through water. Her body just felt heavy.
She couldn't use her Sharingan either. Her Storm Eye was as still active and would be for the rest of the day. Her eyes were a light grey, too light, making them more sensitive to the light irritating her considerably.
That and every time she looked at someone she saw more than she should. When she looked at Naruto she saw a pair of fuzzy transparent ears on his head and nine tails swishing behind him.
When she looked at Sasuke, she Saw a transparent white snake wrapped tightly around his neck. Constricting every time he breathed.
Kakashi-sensei's scared her the most. Surrounding him like a demonic halo were the dead. Most of them she couldn't make out many of their faces but three stood out. A boy, girl and man. The girl had a hole the size of a fist in her chest, while the whole left side of the boy's body looked crushed. Above him swinging like pendulum was man. He had Kakashi-sensei's grey hair. His neck was bent at an odd angle and noose wrapped tightly around it.
Sakura, was something Madara knew she would see. Dead. Sakura was being followed by the shadow of her future if she doesn't change. A gaping hole in her abdomen. Blood dripping onto the ground.
Madara decided then and there not to let it happen.
She would not be teammates with someone as weak as Sakura. The only way to change that was to make Sakura better.
Make Sakura worthy to put her trust in.
She was pulled out of her thoughts as a raven landed atop her shoulder.
"The nine tails got trapped in his own trap," the raven began to speak smoothly. "Pinky has herself caught in a Genjutsu," the raven let out squawk. "Simple Genjutsu. Embarrassing really."
Madara hummed with the ravens words.Β
"The cyclops is looking for you or your brother. He may come upon your brother first."
Madara sighed, "How much time do we have left?"
"About, two hours, Hime-chan."
Madara sighed, I can work with that.
"Who's closer?"
"Pinky, a hundred meters west."
Madara slowly pushed herself into her feet. "Pinky it is."
When Madara came upon Sakura she nearly facepalmed. The girl was laid face first in the grass, butt up in the air, her pink dress painfully bright Madara had to look away a moment.
"A simple hell viewing," the raven squawked beating his wings.
"We were taught to dispel Genjutsu in the academy,Β Sakura had the highest scores next to me. She should have gotten out of this easily," She grumbled to the raven as she crouched and placed a hand on the back the girl's head. Dispelling the genjutsu She flinched back when Sakura shot up with a wail.
"Sasuke-kun!"
Madara sweat dropped. Of course! Why am I not surprised?
"Sakura-san," Madara drew the girl's attention and she flinched.Β
"M-Madara-san?!" She squeaked out and the Uchiha raised a tired eyebrow. Sakura looked sound wildly, "S-Sasuke-kun! H-He's hurt! Kakashi-sensei! He hurt Sasuke!" She wailed.
Ignoring the dead Sakura looming over her shoulder she fixed, the bubblegum haired girl with an unimpressed look. "You were caught in a genjutsu, Sakura-san."
The raven on her shoulder squawked, "Embarrassing really. Face down ass up."
Madara sighed in exasperation, fixing the bird with a look, "This is the reason why I don't summon you as much as you want, you have no filter."
The raven let loose a squawk of indignation, "I do to have a filter!"
Another raven fluttered from the trees and landed on Madara's other shoulder. "That's a lie brother dear," her smooth posh voice resounded.
She the nipped at Madara's ear affectionately, "Are feeling better, Fia-sama?" She asked and Madara shrugged lightly.
"A-Are you talking t-to crows?"
Madara winced, the male raven on her left shoulder bat his wings in offence, "I'm a Raven, I'll have you know silly girl! How offensive!" He squawked.
His sister was right behind, maybe not as angered but still offended. "I feel personally attacked, I'm much more intelligent then they'd ever claim to be!" She snapped haughtily.
Madara pinched the bridge of her nose, "As they said, they're Ravens. The male on my left shoulder is Katsuki. The female on my right is Kazumi."
"Nice to meet you Pinky-chan," Katsuki Greeted after he got over his anger.
"H-hi," Sakura mumbled back.
Madara sighed and motioned for Sakura to follow her. "Come on, Naruto's that way."
"B-but, Sasuke-kun!" Sakura whined about to make a run for it. Madara barely twitched as her arm shout out to grab the girl by the the collar.Β
"He's fine," Madara grumbled dragging the whining girl through the thicket. "We need to get Naruto, then we'll get Sasuke."
Madara may be weak at that moment but she was still physically stronger than Sakura in her bad days compared to Sakura's good days.
"B-bu-but-," Sakura continued to protest and Madara snapped her head around to glare directly at the pinkette. Sakura flinched as Madara's pale eyes fixed on her.
They were like storm clouds swirling within her eyes. It was absolutely terrifying.
"What was that?" Madara asked threateningly.
Sakura sweatdropped. "Uh, Nothing, lets go get Naruto."
Madara nodded, "That's what I thought."
Madara is really scary, Sakura thought with a shudder as she limply let the younger girl drag her through the thicket.
They found Naruto hanging by his ankles in a trap. "Madara-Chan! Sakura-Chan! Help me please."
Madara threw a kunai at the rope cutting him down. When he hit the ground and scrambled to his feet with bright grin.
"Thank you!"
"Come on," She motioned for him to join him and Sakura and he looked confused.
"What?"
"We're gonna work together to get the bells," Madara explained with a a yawn.
Naruto shook his head. "No thanks. I have to this on my own, if I'm gonna be Hokage someday!" He waved and took off u to the forest. Madara didn't chase after him, too lazy to even attempt it.
Katsuki landed on her shoulder, "Funny, he thinks he can be Hokage just by will alone."
"Why did you let him go?" Sakura asked.
"I'm to lazy to go after him," Madara shrugged, before dragging Sakura into the forest so they could look for her brother.
"Let's try Sasuke," Madara grumbled dragging the older girl behind her by the wrist.

They found Sasuke birdies neck deep in the ground and Madara snorted while Sakura shrieked "Sasuke-kun."
She swayed as if she was about to faint but Madara elbowed her sharply in the side.Β
"Get me out of here," he grunted and Madara cocked a brow.
"What was that?"
Sasuke rolled his eyes, "Please."
Lips twitching lightly Madara walked over and grabbed him by the nose causing him to yell in pain and Sakura to shriek something along the lines of "You can't do that!"
When she pulled him out his cheeks and nose were red.
"Do you want to work together to get bells, Aniki?"
"No."
"You'll have a better chance to get a bell," she prompted.
He scowled, "No. I need to this by myself," with that he took off leaving Madara and Sakura on their own.
"Looks like its just you, me, Katsuki and Kazumi," Madara grumbled motioning for the pink haired girl follow. "Let's go find, Kakashi-sensei."
Sakura followed reluctantly.
"Tell me, have you used paper bombs before?"
"No?"
"Well today's your lucky day, Sakura-san."
The pink haired genin trembled, "I don't think it is."

After tying Naruto up against one of the posts for cheating Kakashi began to look for Madara.
Kakashi was beginning to wonder if he was really stalking his last genin or if she was stalking him. Having been around dogs for a good amount of his life Kakashi liked to believe that his sense of smell was pretty well off. Not as good as an Inuzuka, but good enough. Though he was thrown off when a feather fell from the trees by a passing crow, the black feather brushing his nose.
Following the scent of Pine and green tea he came across a clearing. "Hime-chan, come out come out where ever you are!" He called sarcastically as he flipped the page of his book.
He blinked when the bushes rustled and someone stumbled outward. He blinked when he was met with the sight of his pink haired genin who's eyes kept flickering back and forth.Β
"Sakura-Chan, I see you found your way out of my genjutsu," he commented lightly and the girl grimaced.
"Madara-san helped me," she admitted scratching the back of her head.
Kakashi cocked his brow, "Did she now?"
"Hai!"
"So, are going to try?" He asked holding up a hand and looking back down at his book.
Sakura laughed nervously, "Uh, not alone, no."
The girl then quickly unrolled a storage scroll and activated the seal, a sea of kunai and shuriken with paper tags launched at him. Dodging them it took him a moment to realize that the tags were paper bombs.
Shit!Β
Loud bangs filled the air and dust flew up. Kakshi launches himself up His sight obstructed by the smoke and dust. Landing on a tree branch he looked down trying to spot pink in the sea of smoke.
"Yo," he turned, Madara was crouched behind him with a hooded eyes. His eye widened fractionally at the sight of her light grey eyes, as she clasped her hands together, "Leaf village secret finger jutsu! A thousand years of death!"
His eye widened, Absolutely not!
He grabbed her arm and flipped her over sending her off the branch towards the smoke. He followed quickly. As she fell a poof resounded and she disappeared in a rain of black feathers.
Kakashi grumbled lightly as he fell through the swirl of feathers. One brushing his nose. Why did he feel like that happened before?
Landing on the ground the smoke disappearing he was met with Sakura standing at the edge of the clearing.
"I think I'm ready to try now!" She said brightly launching herself at her sensei who frowned. She attacked swiftly.
Last he checked, Sakura was abysmal at Taijutsu.
"Madara?" He asked as he dodged a well aimed punch. Tucking his book into his pouch.
"How offensive, Cyclops-san!" Sakura's image pouted.
"I like to think of myself as one of higher class, Fia-sama isn't even close to my level!" She giggled, sending a kick his way.
Grabbing her leg he twisted and went to slam the pink haired genin into the ground. Just as she hit, he dissolved into a shower of black feathers.
He cocked a brow. "What are you playing at?"
"That hurt, Cyclops-san," a voice choked out from behind him. Turning his gut spawned at the sight of Sakura with a hole in her chest and large blank eyes. "I don't think I deserved that."Β Β
His jaw clenched, "Genjutsu." Holding up his hands in kai, he watched as the wounded Sakura disappeared.
"It took you longer than I thought," a voice commented lazily he turned around and was met with Sakura and Madara seated at the base of a tree watching him.
"When?"
She raised a brow, "When did we get the bells or when did I put you under?" She asked.
Their sensei looked down at his belt to find two bells missing. Looking back up he found Sakura and Madara holding a bell each. The pink haired genin grinning brightly and Madara looking a bit smug.
"When did you put me under?" He will admit he was impressed.
"About ten minutes ago, made you walk in circle twice before I was able to convince Sakura to activate the bombs."
He blinked. "How?"
Madara brushed her nose lightly as if scratching an itch. "Genjutsu is a subtle art, Kakashi-sensei, I'd be stupid to tell you my tricks."
"So on the branch, that wasn't you?"
"Oh, that was me," Madara shook her head.Β
He raised a brow, "You really tried to put your fingers up my anus."
She shrugged, "I was curious."
Kakashi shook his head.
"So, we passed right?" Sakura asked tentatively.
"The two of you worked together, correct?" He asked.
They nodded.
"Then you understand the purpose of the test?"
Madara nodded firmly while Sakura nodded a bit unsure.
"I-It's teamwork," she tried to state though it sound like more of a question.
"Correct," Kakashi-sensei nodded patting on them head lightly.
That's when the timer went off.
