Naruto groaned in pain as he opened his eyes,blinded by the sudden light he shut them just as quick .
"What happened?",he murmured looking around the room,he quickly determined he was in the hospital again."Well looks like he's awake",said a voice from the curtain next to him.It was Sakura.
"Sakura what happened ?"Everything that happened was hazy,he couldn't remember how he got to the hospital,his head hurt too much to think.
Another voice piped up from the room,"Now now Naruto you need your rest,we'll talk about the mission later".He turned his head to see his sensai's familiar masked face .After saying that ,they left the room,leaving Naruto to sit in his thoughts .He was so confused,nothing makes sense .
He sighed and laid his head back into the pillow,his body was still so exhausted from whatever mission Sakura what talking about .Oh well,might as well take a nap while I'm here .
His dream brought him to a beautiful cobalt ocean and white warm sand. He looked over at the horizon,the sun fading slowly from view,truly a breathtaking site.He clothes were muted colors of A white button down and short navy shorts.
As the wind blew through his hair ,Naruto looked next to him and saw that raven hair he was so familiar with standing next to him,"Beautiful view isn't it ?"Sasuke merely looked at the ground and smirked to himself before positioning his body to face Naruto.There was a melancholic tension in the air as the two former lovers gazed into each other's eyes.How far he had fallen from the simple genin who always appeared indifferent to all situations,the genin he fell in love with .
Slowly Sasuke snaked a hand to his waist pulling him closer,leaving Naruto almost frozen but hopeful.He placed a hand to his face,brushing the blonde hair that he used to adore away .Slowly he leaned in,tilting the blondes face up and staring at those unsuspecting eyes as he pressed his lips against him.The kiss was soft and chaste ,filling Naruto with happiness as he remembered this was how he recalled their first kisses.Full of innocence and light. He didn't even notice the pain of the cold metal in his chest until it was all the way in .
Naruto felt his world crumbling away as Sasuke pulled away with a smile on his face as he looked down at the sword in his chest.His white shirt now dyed red with his blood.If his heart had been broken before it was nothing compared to this.Looking up he saw the sky break into darkness,the oceans turn red and the sand fall away at his feet,leaving him falling into the abyss.
