My true feelings
“So let me get this’ straight’,a baby the one you're only appeared at our doorstep” Cathy started.
“Yes,” Kat replied.
“A note was attached to the baby basket he was in saying that he's reincarnated from the year 1994?” Cathy said.
Kat nodded her head yes.
“And you guys want me to keep it a secret until you can think of a way to explain it to the others since they deem you two as the troublemakers even though it's actually Madrina(Godmother) and Gatita(Kitten)?” Cathy told them.
“Yeah, I….” Anne started but stopped and looked at Kat for help.
“Come on Annie, it's Cathy you got this” Kat reassured her.
“I….my emotions are a facade,I don't feel happy,sad,anger or any of that, I don't know what I like or dislike,I put on a facade for you guys so that you won't be disappointed” Anne told her bluntly.
“How does Gatita know then?” Cathy asked.
“It was less than a week after reincarnation when she burst into my room and overheard me talking about my true personality,I…didn't want you guys to know about it” Anne told them.
“.....But, do you feel this warmth in your heart whenever you're around us?” Cathy asked.
“Yes and I also feel it around Harry” Anne replied.
“Well, you must care for him like your child if you feel this warm connection towards him” Cathy stated.
Anne looked down at Harry who smiled and giggled.
Anne let out a small genuine smile.
‘I guess I do’ Anne thought.
“Now that's a real smile,it may be small but it feels more genuine than the ones you wear around us” Cathy told her.
“Did you already know the truth?!” Kat asked.
“Not really,but I had a feeling that the smiles you always wear around us aren't really….. reaching your eyes” Cathy replied.
“Reaching your eyes?” Anne said in confusion.
“Yeah it basically means a genuine smile,” Cathy replied.
“Oh” Anne said.
‘Why do I feel so hungry and emotional?’ Harry thought.
Harry then started crying.
“It's time for him to eat, Chaton, can you go get his bottle in the fridge and warm it?” Anne asked.
Kat made a fake salute and went to retrieve the bottle.
After warming it,Kitty came back and handed it to Anne who shook it and put the bottle nub to Harry's lips.
Harry opened his mouth and the bottle was placed in his mouth and Harry started sucking on the nub for the milk.
“I haven't seen any maids or butlers here today,” Kat pointed out.
“That's because today was the day their Christmas break starts” Anne told her.
‘This warm formula is delicious’ Harry thought.
“So um….what do you guys wanna do?” Cathy asked shyly.
“We want to watch Mulan,” Kat said.
“Okay I'll put it on,” Cathy said.
