Just a little drabble series that I started writing based on a vague idea I've had for a bit. Writing hasn't been easy for me lately, I'm still living at my sister's looking for a place to live. Stupid over-saturated rental market. :P

It had been a long, boring day in the Hokage office. Minato raked his fingers through his hair as he stared out at the village he was sworn to protect. As ever, he wished that Kushina was still here with him, to help him with his burdens. But she wasn’t, it had been two years since that night… Pushing it from his mind, he turned his attention away from the window when someone knocked on the door of his office. Inoichi entered then, a grim look on his face, and Minato felt a sudden sense of unease.
“She’s back,” he told him. “Haruno is back.”
