Just a little drabble series that I started writing based on a vague idea I've had for a bit. Writing hasn't been easy for me lately, I'm still living at my sister's looking for a place to live. Stupid over-saturated rental market. :P

The house she was staying in was one that had been arranged ahead of her arrival. It was homey and quaint, with just enough hint of luxury to denote her status. Sakura saw the signs of her grandfather’s touch in the furniture chosen, but didn’t mind, as it was similar enough to her own tastes. The unexpected bonus of having the Haruno patriarch know her secret was useful in getting her foot in doors that she needed it in, as well as providing her with an airtight, respectable alibi.
Sakura looked over to where the servants her ojii-san had sent were finishing up. “Thanks, I’ve got it from here.”
