Her death
Strangely, Yamanaka Ino died during the fourth great ninja war. It was an unexpected death to say the least, everyone was left in shock at the sudden passing of the just recently titled head of the Yamanaka clan. Because it was just strange, it didn’t feel right. Despite this, everyone was forced to get their bearings and fight, fight so they can keep all their waiting families safe, safe so they could live to tell the tales to their future children and grandchildren alike.
As her closest friends, Shikamaru and Choji were of course affected by her death the most, as well as Haruno. But they were at war, breathing dusty air, they can’t be swallowed by grief right now, they needed to win first, they can mourn their most beloved friend’s death after they win, because this is just how it goes, this is war.
The enemy, Obito, unceremoniously dropped her from where he stood and she fell helplessly, her body terribly weak to even make a slight voluntary movement, Ino felt like time had just slowed down as she continued to fall and brace for impact, she knew that she’s done for once her bloody figure crashes on the ground. Accepting her fate, Ino waits and waits, and while she does so, countless memories started surfacing her mind, her father, mother, her pink-haired friend, Choji and Shikamaru and Sensei, Sasuke and just countless people who became a part of her life.
Seconds had gone by and the images in mind started vanishing, and Ino thought that this was it, she’s going to finally leave her friends behind and meet her father and sensei and-
Warmth suddenly engulfed her body, she was taken aback in surprise. The Yamanaka quickly blinked her eyes open and was met with dark orbs staring right back at her. It was a surprise that it was him to save her of all people, this left her disappointed and happy at the same time, happy that her childhood dream of being held by Sasuke is actually coming true and also disappointed that it’s not Choji or Shikamaru because she’d really want them to be the one to hold her in her dying moments.
She was snapped out of her thoughts when she felt a very quick and strange heartbeat from the inside of her chest, and Ino somehow had the clue that this really was it, no surgery or anything can save her from this, this really was it, she only has a few seconds left to live, she can feel it.
The Yamanaka forced herself to glance at the Uchiha, whose face betrayed no emotion as he focused on what’s ahead, ‘He must be taking me to them.’
“Ne…” This immediately got the attention of the boy.
“W-win…” Her eyes were never to see the light again.
Ino Yamanaka’s death left the world melancholic and complex. For her death made absolutely no sense at all.

In the modern world, Ino Yamanaka lived as a bright and loud high school girl. She possessed the same light blue eyes and soft blonde hair, but instead of its usual ponytail, Ino mostly kept it untied and the hair reached just below her shoulders. Ino Yamanaka lives with her two parents who owns a flower shop.
It is one fine morning when Yamanaka Ino leaves her house in a hurry for her new school. She had been expelled after getting involved in a fight, but don’t get her wrong, she was just trying to help someone, and such actions led her to this, and no, she doesn’t regret anything because why would she, she did the right thing after all.
When Ino finally stood outside her classroom, she was panting heavily, her hair in a bit of disarray. The door opens and she quickly straightens herself, a man with gray hair stood in front of her, she was uncertain if it was dyed or natural, his hair was also standing up which was strange, he must’ve applied a great amount of gel. What catches her attention the most though, is his shell-shocked face, Ino blamed it was because of her gorgeous face.
Seemingly remembering where he was, the man rubbed his side neck, he apologized and introduced himself as ‘Kakashi Hatake Sensei’ and Ino returned the greeting with uncertainty. He told her to wait outside and enter when he calls for her and Ino only silently nods in return.
After what felt like just a second since he left, the girl’s name was announced and she took a deep breath before slowly entering the unnaturally quiet room. Ino was faced with a rainbow.
It was strange, does the school not allow their students to dye their hair? Because what the heck, with those various hair colors together, they literally make a rainbow. And Ino wasn’t lying, a head of orange, dark blue, black, light brown and- did she just spot a head of pink?
Ino internally sighed, first day and she was already questioning her decision of transferring to this school she absolutely has not much information on, but you know what they say, you just have to go with the flow and that is exactly what she'll be doing for now.
“Kindly introduce yourself to the class,” the weird teacher asked with a knowing smile on his face that weirdly suited him.
“Ah, yes. Good morning everyone, my name is Yamanaka Ino. I’m looking forward to getting along with all of you.”
That was a lie of course, making the whole class her loyal minions- friends, wasn't really her intention, that’s too much work, she can just keep a few true people who doesn’t do bullshit stuff and the rest can mind their own business.
When she looked up from her bent position, she was stunned to find most of the class staring at her with wide eyes while the others simply offered her a smile. The raven-haired with a weird hairstyle caught her attention, the soft smile on his face somehow made her feel strange, she felt like she shouldn’t be seeing it. But why?
The teacher snapped her out of her reverie and told her to sit beside a girl named Tenten. After sitting herself, she noticed pairs of orbs staring directly at her and so she turned to grace them her attention. Seated on her left was a boy with spiky ponytail, his seatmate was a chubby boy with spiky hair as well.
They uttered no word, they simply smiled at her. Ino later on found herself panicked and confused upon finding the two boys with tear streaks on their cheeks while fond smiles were still held on their faces. Ino suddenly had a feeling that she would get along great with those two as well as everyone else in the room as she awkwardly offered the whole class who were staring fondly at her an awkward smile.
