Name: Doctor Patricia "Patti" O'Reilly
Title: Associate Psychologist for Black Site Ten
Speciality: Sexual Identity and Trauma. Focus on various behavioral issues due to misalignment of Gender Identity versus Sexual Preferences. Secondary focus on unresolved needs and long term self denial.
History: Doctor O'Reilly has been a member of "The Farm" staff for eight years. She has helped a number of Protectorate and associated Independent Tinkers who have been designated as potential threats. She has attempted to help Case 53'a in the past, with minimal success. It has been noted that Doctor O'Reilly has issues providing appropriate levels of empathy for their experiences due to how alien they can be. However, the Doctor has shown no signs of distinctive prejudice against Case 53's, and generally treats them with respect.
While working with a subject, Patti devotes her full attention to their needs. Keeping with the standards of the PRT protocols concerning therapy, she does no out patient work, and is considered a strictly short term solution for emergency cases. However, she is one of the few PRT therapists who WILL recommend that Parahumans seek independent therapy outside Protectorate guidelines in an effort to catch possible stressors before they become worse.
Description: Considered charming, funny and extremely open, given her position, Patti is often seen as unprofessional. However, she is still very smart, and often projects an air headed facade in order to get a feel for her subjects.
Has noted that extensive repression and stress tends to have a negative effect on Tinkers, which can be a particular issue with Wet Tinkers. Her goal is to provide relatively safe and healthy coping strategies so that a Doomsday Device doesn't get constructed.
Is of European descent with pale skin, red hair, and a slim figure. Encourages physical activity as part of her treatment, so often acts as a gym buddy to the subject. Looks good for a twenty two year old, rather than her actual age of forty three.
Does not leave Black Site Ten because of concerns she has about a Parahuman stalker she treated five years previously. Lost track of them and does not want to risk an off-site encounter.
(Patti is unaware that said stalker was a Cauldron Cape who was part of the Nemesis Program. They have since been relocated off of Earth Bet due to complications with their conditioning and the death of their designated Nemesis at an Endbringer fight.)
Patti is currently single, a fact that she enjoys greatly.
Preferred partner? As long as she is not treating you, or hasn't in the past, you are of the age of consent, and you can make her laugh, she will allow you to buy her a drink.
