Naruto watches as Neji gets ready to eat his ramen, the way he has to move strands of his silky hair behind his ear only for it to fall off again making the Hyuga frustrated. He finds it cute. The way Neji’s nose scrunches and the way he pouts a little. Neji realizes he’s being stared at and glares at Naruto, “What are you staring at?” he says sternly, blushing a little. It took a while for Naruto to respond, “You’re so pretty Neji, the prettiest boy I’ve ever met”, the Hyuga turns bright red- even brighter than when he ate that life-saving curry. “Oh shush,” the pale looks away, “your ramen is getting cold”, Naruto’s eyes widen, “Oh shoot!” he quickly grabs his chopsticks and starts slurping his noodles before it gets too cold. Now Neji’s the one who finds himself staring, he smiles at the way the blonde closes his eyes at the enjoyment of the ramen, the way he gets so excited when ramen is placed in front of him. Neji wished for this moment never to end just so he could watch his idiot boyfriend eat ramen.
