Green eyes
Week 3: *Adult SS*
Sarada's birth was the most wonderful thing they had ever experienced together.
Those times traveling the world, exploring every corner of the shinobi`s lands, meeting interesting people. It was an exciting adventure that led them to get to know each other better and start a family.
Just a couple of days after her mother's birthday, Sarada was born on a quiet night near the border with the Land of the Wind, so the weather was quite warm and welcoming, just as they had planned.
Honey, you are a rock upon which I stand. And I come here to talk, I hope you understand. The green eyes. Yeah, the spotlight shines upon you. And how could anybody deny you?
The original idea was to cross the border, but Sakura began to feel contractions when they were still a little far away, so Sasuke took them to an old Orochimaru lair. They thought that they would be alone but Karin surprised them when she welcomed and helped to accommodate them.
Finally, her presence was timely because despite Sakura's calm spirit, Sasuke felt quite anxious and the redhead was suitable to calm him down. The delivery happened naturally and Sarada was born around midnight, between Karin's sad smile and happy cries from her parents. A sincere thank you to their unexpected hostess and the new family set out again.
I came here with a load and it feels so much lighter now I've met you. And honey, you should know that I could never go on without you.
If traveling alone was an adventure, doing it with the newborn Sarada represented a challenge for the new parents. Although she was an extremely gentle and loving baby, they were both on the alert for any danger that might be near. As time went by, they adapted to their new routine, Sarada's schedules and needs, complementing the travel rhythm they had to maintain.
Every day Sarada surprised her parents. Some mischief, a giggle, a few babbles, a show of affection. They were in love with her, so in love.
Little by little Sarada grew up until she began to say her first words, a bet between her parents to see if she would call mom or dad first. And then, holding the hands of her parents, she took her first steps on a vast patch of green grass in Takigakure.
Honey, you are the sea Upon which I float and I came here to talk I think, you should know. The green eyes, you're the one that I wanted to find and anyone who tried to deny you must be out of their minds
Seeing her walking alone, looking at them with her beautiful black eyes, her perfect smile was the most beautiful landscape that Sakura and Sasuke had ever seen… until now.
Now, Sarada softly sings a lullaby while the baby in her arms grasps her index finger with his little hand, his thin black hair barely visible and his green eyes looking at Sarada as if discovering the world. This is their new favorite landscape.
"Mama, Papa?"
"What is it Sarada?" her mother smiled at her from the hospital bed.
"Did you guys decide on a name yet?"
The couple looked at each other for a while before answering. "Well," Sasuke spoke "Your mother and I think it would be good if we choose the name between the three"
Sarada smiled, that same smile she had since she was a child, full of joy looking at those bright green eyes of her baby brother.
'Cause I came here with a load and it feels so much lighter since I met you. Honey, you should know that I could never go on without you.
