“Mama, look at Totoro-chan, he’s chubby and cute like me!” Boruto said cheekily while turning his blonde head towards his mother. He palmed both his small hands under his chin and chubby cheeks while grinning cheerfully as if he was trying to make a ‘kawaii’ face. Sasuke chuckled softly and ruffled Boruto’s soft blonde hair adorely.
“yes, he is,baby” She smiled sweetly towards her son. She stared a few minutes on the current channel and decided to start preparing their lunch.
“Mama gonna start cooking for lunch, do you wanna help me Boruto-chan?” Boruto nodded and started following his mother towards their home's small and extra clean kitchen. Sasuke put Boruto to sit on the kitchen counter so he could see his mother’s activity clearly. Sasuke took a can of tomato puree out from the kitchen cabinet and started peeling off the lids easily.
“What are we gonna cook today, Mama?” he asked while reaching for a wooden spatula on the counter top.
“Today, mama gonna make grilled chicken with tomato Nimono stew” Sasuke answered brightly while clasping her hands together. Boruto made a small ‘waah~’ sound while trying to stop his mouth from watering.
“Boruto loves chicken!” he shouted excitedly while punching his left hand into the air. Sasuke smiled and eksimo kiss Boruto’s nose.
“Of Course you are '' Sasuke took out several already unfrozen chicken’s breasts and started chopping the chickens skillfully into bite-sized pieces. Then, he took out a pan and placed it on the stove. Boruto watched his mother quietly until his mother instructed him.
“Boruto, help mama to pour this tomato puree into this bowl” Boruto nodded and poured all the tomato puree into the given glass bowl.
“Good Job!” Sasuke praised while high fiving her son.
“Then, we may add a glass of water, some bay leaf and white pepper into the bowl” Boruto burrowed his small eyebrows.
“What are those mama?” he asked innocently. Sasuke smiled and passed the designated ingredients to Boruto and let him pour all of them into the bowl. She even guided him to stir the mixture using the wooden spatula that Boruto held all the time. Sasuke counted from one to ten together with Boruto.
“Ten! yeay” Boruto shouted. Sasuke let Boruto continue stirring the mixture and took this opportunity to chop some vegetables and fresh tomatoes. She slided all the freshly chopped vegetables into the bowl from the chopping board by using the knife.
She started preparing the Japanese rice by rinsing the raw rice several times before putting it into a rice cooker. She let Boruto turn the rice cooker on and started focusing on the main dish. After that she grilled the bite sized chickens in the pan and poured the mixture into the pan altogether. A delicious smell suddenly emitted from the dish for 20 minutes.
“Urmm, what a nice smell here huh” suddenly a familiar voice appeared behind them revealing a sweaty Naruto in his anbu uniform.
“Daddy!” Boruto beamed. Sasuke turned her back and greeted her husband and turned off the stove. At the same time, a loud ‘Ding’ was heard indicating the rice was ready to be indulged. Naruto walked towards Boruto and reached his hand to hold Boruto up before being stopped by Sasuke.
“No, Daddy needs to take his bath first, then Boruto can go play with Daddy after that.” Sasuke said while pushing Naruto out of the kitchen. Naruto pouted and whined.
“But honey, I haven't seen him since this morning,” He pouted.
“No buts, you are so smelly” Sasuke shook his head. Naruto finally gave up and went to take his relaxing bath. Sasuke and Boruto started preparing the table for dinner together by placing all the freshly homemade dishes on the dining table.
After 10 minutes, Naruto appeared again in the kitchen. The small family sat together at the dining table and recite their prayers before gobbling down the scrumptious meal.
“ITADAKIMASU” Boruto and Naruto shouted together. Both the father and son greedily gobbled down the meal quickly. Sasuke stared at the whole situation.
“Guys calm down, eat slowly” She popped the small bite-sized chicken into her mouth using a pair of chopsticks while her eyes were still glued toward her son and husband.
“i-ts so d’cious s’ke” Naruto said with a mouth full with rice and chicken earning a nod from Boruto.
“Very licious” the toddler agreed while showing his mum a big thumbs up. Sasuke let out a small chuckle from the whole situation. To be honest, she didn't have the appetite to finish the whole meal. She kept feeling that something furry and funny stuck in her throat and sometimes she felt the need to throw up but managed to resist the feelings.
Suddenly a rush of weird feelings came and she quickly went to the kitchen sink and gagged. Naruto rushed towards his wife and rubbed her back. A confused Boruto stared at the whole situation and a small chicken fell down from his mouth.
“Are you alright, Sasuke?” Naruto asked in panic. Sasuke nodded and wiped her mouth using a tea cloth. She took a deep breath and leaned towards her husband’s front.
“Im okay, urm let’s eat. sorry for killing you guys’ appetite” Sasuke forced a grin. Both Naruto and Sasuke went to their seats.
“Mama has big news to tell Boruto and Daddy” Sasuke said hesitantly. All the attention was now focused on the raven.
“I'm actually pregnant” She announced softly. Naruto's eyes suddenly went big and rushed to his wife and hugged her tightly.
“Seriously! How long?” he asked while still hugging Sasuke.
“Erm, around 3 weeks” she answered. Naruto gave tons of kisses all over Sasuke’s pretty face. Tears streaming down his face while mouthing ‘I can’t believe it’.
“What is pegnine? why did daddy cry?” Boruto asked. Sasuke let out a breathy laugh and caressed her son whiskered cheek due to Kurama and said;
“It means Boruto-chan is gonna be a big brother soon and you're gonna be Boruto-nii-chan cause mama has a baby in my belly” She rubbed her flat soon to be massive abdomen softly while looking at Boruto.
“I don’t want to be a big brother” Boruto huffed, earning a loud gasp from Naruto and Sasuke.
“Oh gosh” Naruto said
