Chapter 16
You looked around you, wondering how to get out of the ocean.
You closed your eyes, trying to picture Soranagi in your head.
Suddenly, his picture appeared in your mind.
“SORANAGI! WRONG PLACE!” You screamed in your head.
Soranagi smiled before snapping his fingers, making you fall unconscious.
***U-U***
“Helloooo? Are you awake yet? Helloooooooo?” You heard, slowly opening your eyes to find Soranagi.
You immediately sat up.
“Soranagi!? Why did you do tha–”
“It was a mistake~okay?” Soranagi said, placing a finger on your lips to shush you.
“Teleporting me to the middle of the ocean is not okay.” You said, looking anywhere but his eyes.
Those cursed eyes.
You realized you were back into the world where you last met Soranagi.
Soranagi sighed.
“Okay…I’m sorry. But, we need to get moving with the project I’m currently working on.” Soranagi said.
“What? Project?” You asked.
“If I tell you about this project that I’m working on, you need to say yes to everything I ask of you.” Soranagi said.
“Forget it. Bring me back home right now.” You demanded.
“New deal, I’ll bring you back home for you to say goodbye to your family, then I take you back here, and you have to say yes to everything I ask of you.” Soranagi bargained.
“That’s not fair!” You yelled, finally looking into his emerald green eyes.
However, this time, you didn’t feel yourself blushing and getting weak under his gaze.
Soranagi sucked in a deep breath, also noticing that you weren’t melting before him. Everything you did and said kept on proving to him that you were perfect for his mysterious and unknown project. He did his best to hide his smile.
“I am in charge here. You can’t be making demands. You either take up on my offer, or you don’t meet your parents at all, and I’ll force you to be a part of this project.” Soranagi said in a demanding tone.
Tears rolled down your cheeks. How could he be so cruel?
He was right though. He had total control over everything.
Seeing the situation you were forced to put in, you started thinking.
Even if you were to go back to your world, you would just be staying there temporarily…and you hated to see your friends and family’s faces when they saw you as you did last time. It would also be absolutely painful to see their faces when you depart again. You would never be able to live happily with these terrible memories ever again. This was horrible. This world was horrible. This man was horrible.
“What do you want from me?” You asked, gritting your teeth to stop your tears from leaking.
“Hmm? Don’t you want to see your family first?” Soranagi asked in a teasing tone.
You clenched your fists. How could he be so calm when you were suffering?
“Forget it. What do you want from me?” You repeated.
Dreadful silence filled the air.
Your dead eyes watched as Soranagi cracked a smile.
“I want your soul.”
