Chapter 6
You finished the last bite of your cheeseburger as you watched the trio walk in the fast food.
Tokoyami must have seen them too, but showed no emotions.
Everyone stared at Bakugou when he started shouting his order at the cashier, except Tokoyami and you.
You looked out the window and took a sip of your coffee, not wanting the trio to see you.
Tokoyami did the same.
“So...we’re about done?” Tokoyami mumbled.
“Yea,” You said.
Bakugou was one of the most attractive people in the My Hero World. It was a dream come true to see him in real life with your own eyes--but that didn’t mean you wanted to go up to him and have him yell at you to leave him alone, the thought terrified you, which made you think if you would ever meet Shoto Todoroki, or Izuku Midoriya in some time.
When you placed your trash on your tray, and looked around to find a trash can, you locked eyes with Denki.
You felt your face grow warm, and forced your eyes to look away.
You waited for a few minutes before throwing your trash away, waiting for the trio to finish making their order. Tokoyami had no trouble with waiting, in fact, he was happy that you decided to wait for them to settle down before throwing your trash away.
After the shouting came to a halt, you glanced at the trio who were walking towards your table, no, they were walking towards the table in front of you.
The restaurant was huge, it even had a playground for kids to play, and there were MANY seats that were open...but the trio just had to sit at the table near you.
You picked up your tray and walked towards the trash can which was near the exit. Suddenly, you felt a hand grab your arm. You flinched and dropped your tray.
“Oh my! I am so sorry! Denki always does stupid things,” A teenage boy with red hair walked up to you, squating down to pick up the trash and the tray. Kirishima.
“Oh no, it’s fine, really.” You said, receiving the tray, and thanked him for helping. You felt the hand release your arm.
You glanced behind your shoulders at Denki. Once he met eyes with you, he blushed. You thought he looked cute when his cheeks were painted light pink. A smile appeared across your face, and Denki turned red, which caused you to giggle.
Tokoyami appeared behind Denki, holding his tray. His face was unreadable and emotionless, but somehow it looked as if he was scowling.
“Let’s go,” Tokoyami said.
“Alright,” You answered.
You felt another hand grab your arm.
You were getting really annoyed by the grabbing thing people did every time you turned to leave.
“Instead of grabbing my arms--or my wrists, I’d like you to know that I have a name…” You trailed off as you glanced behind your shoulders to see Bakugou looking down at you with an emotionless expression. Your heart fluttered.
Tokoyami appeared in front of Bakugou and slapped his hand away.
“You heard her.” Tokoyami said.
You felt weird and uncomfortable. You were surrounded by boys, and Bakugou had made physical contact with you, not to mention that everyone in the restaurant were staring at the trio, you, and Tokoyami. Some even pulled out their phones to record what was going on.
You rushed over to the trash can and threw your trash away, leaving your tray on top of Tokoyami’s tray.
“Why don’t you introduce your girlfriend to us?” Bakugou said, smirking as he glanced at you.
“He is not my boyfriend.” You replied.
“Uh... yea, what she said.” Tokoyami supported your reply.
Tokoyami might have gone with that for now, but he promised himself that one day he would make you his wife. He thought it was strange that he was thinking of such crazy stuff, especially since you two had just met, but he couldn’t hold in the flood of ideas he could do with you when you two became a couple.
“Hi! I’m Eijiro Kirishima, nice to meet you!” Kirishima said, offering a hand for you to shake.
“Uh...hi…! You can call me y/n.” You answered, accepting the hand. He flinched a little when your hands touched his, he smiled widely and blushed.
You’ve got to admit, going to the anime world was way different then you had expected it to be. The characters acted different from how you remembered them.
“And I’m Denki Kiminari!” Denki said as he also held out a hand, waiting for you to shake.
When you were about to accept it, Tokoyami’s hand slapped his hand away.
“That’s quite enough, let’s go, y/n, I’ll take you home.” Tokoyami said.
Home. You don’t have one in this world, it was in another.
“Hey, hey, hey. What’s with the aggressiveness?” Bakugou said, placing a hand on Tokoyami’s shoulder.
“You’re not the one to talk.” Tokoyami replied.
“Tokoyami,” You started.
“Hmm?” He asked, noticing how he had calmed down just by answering you.
“Uh, well, first of all, it's fine, I can take myself home…” You trailed off, also noticing that his face tightened.
“...Second...no need to be so harsh…” You said, weakly smiling at him.
You realize how much needed sleep, you were really tired from all the stuff that had happened--even though it was still noon.
You turned over to Denki, and grabbed his hand, feeling everyone around the room--Bakugou, Kirishima, and especially Tokoyami’s death glares. You placed your hand in his, and gently shook it. “Sorry for earlier.”
“Wait!” You heard Bakugou shout as you ran out the door, feeling horrible when Tokoyami tried chasing after you, but got held back by a screaming cashier, who was yelling how he hasn't paid yet.
Bakugou and Denki ran after you, leaving Kirishima behind to pay. You were too tired to care why they were even chasing after you.
It wasn’t normal for your energy to drain so quickly, and you’ll need to figure out why, but for now, you used the last bit of your energy trying to flee the area, run from the boys. They were acting weird, and you weren’t sure if you liked it. You didn’t understand what their problem was. Even the number 2 hero acted weird. Plus, you didn’t want them to know that you didn’t have a house to live in.
You ran into the woods. You ran and ran, each step took a lot of energy out of you. Until you had run out of energy, you fell onto the grassy floor.
You heard footsteps.
Was it the boys?
It was.
You heard shouting.
You slowly opened your eyes, two blurry figures grew closer, until a wall of blue flames blocked you from seeing them.
You should be scared, but you were too tired.
You fluttered your eyes closed.
