Chapter 2
Iruka POV
Making it in class early I watched as everyone came in. I grabbed Naruto and told him to sit behind Shikamaru. Naruto looked confused but did as told. The two talking for awhile only to stop when Sakura slammed the door open yelling at Ino. "I-!" I watched Ino blush. Confused I looked at the other only to see Naruto and Shikamaru kiss. "Naruto must be cursed... but it's kinda cute." "Alright love birds settle down! I've got teams to assign."
"Iruka-sensei?!" I waved Naruto off and started to read the teams off.
When it was over I headed towards T&I. Signing in I headed towards Ibiki's office. Knocking on the door I heard Ibiki yell, "Come in!" Opening the door Ibiki pointed to the seat infront of him. I sat down and waited for Ibiki to start talking.
"So what happened?"
"From what I could tell Mizuki manipulated Naruto into getting the scroll for him after Naruto failed his test."
"But you still passed him after failing?"
"You see I noticed Naruto's papers had a genjutsu placed over it since the answers he put down were the same as the year bellow him test."
"So Mizuki tried to fail Naruto so he didn't have to do all the work?"
"Seems like it."
"Thank for informing me. I'll get the rest from Mizuki myself."
"Hai."
Back home I flopped onto the couch with a huff. After awhile I heard a knock on my door. Groaning I got off the couch and went to open the door.
"Hokage-sama?"
"Good afternoon Iruka-sensei."
"What can I do for you Hokage-sama?"
"Here."
The Hokage took out a slip of paper and handed it to me.
"The jounin exams?"
"Yep! I personally recommend you."
"Huu?! But why?"
"I've seen the damage you've done to Mizuki with that barrier of yours."
"Oh..."
"Do you expect the application?"
"Hai!"
"Well goodluck Iruka."
