It was snowing. The little white flurry blur falling from the sky so slow. Driving in the snow is not my favorite but I love watching the snow fall. It's very relaxing. That was mostly the only thing that brings pure joy to me about winter.
Sip
"uGh Yack *spat* Sakura what the hell did you do to my hot chocolate?" I yelled at my best friend who I've known since we were small, Dr. Haruno Sakura.
"I used almond milk." She answered as she's vacuuming the house. I was visiting Sakura to chit chat and spend time. Knowing that her break won't be forever.
"Ew... Do you not have regular milk?" I say as I scrunched up my nose in disgust. Sakura shakes her head. Setting the coffee cup on a mini table, I let out a sigh as I continued watching the snow.
"Uoof! So Ino...." My friend had joined me at the couch. I turned at her curious what she's about to say.
"Got any plans for Christmas?"
Humming as I thought about it, I came with an answer of no.
"Awesome! I'm planning a Christmas Party for just our friends. Though it most likely will be at Shikamaru's home but I want to ask you if you want to help me out."
Smiling, "Of course I would love too." I may be 22 but I get so excited for Christmas. There's free cookies, food, presents, family, I mean, what could be better then that? Plus everyone knows that I'm the best decorator.
"So I'm assuming you're going to bring your boyfriend as well?" Sakura has a boyfriend. No it's not Sasuke, we both gave up, he's just too... mean I guess. Sakura's cheeks went from a pale color to the color of her hair.
"We-Well... yeah! Of course I would bring him." Sakura poked her fingers. "Someone's getting shy." I teased as I poked my friend's forehead. Sakura sputtered. "I am not!"
I chortled. "Surreeee. But yay! I like him. He's a funny guy." A smirk formed on my face. Sakura's phone then went off.
"Speaking of the devil..." Sakura answered the call with a smile on her face.
"Hi hun!" Sakura has a big smile. She's so happy and I'm the same way. It's nice to watch a healthy relationship grow. Though it does make me a bit sad knowing that I'm over here single.
"Yeah I can definitely make time for that! Eh? Oh! Okay sure let me ask her."
"He's asking if you want to come with us to go out. We're gonna go to the bar." She asked me.
"I'm more then happy to join but I don't want to get in your way so it's all up to you guys." As much as I would loved to go, I don't wanna be a third wheel. I'm willing go if she wants me to though. Sakura nods at me.
"Then it's a plan. I-" All the sudden the smile went away. Now I'm curious.
"Babe are you okay?" Sakura had a worried tone. Did something happen?
"Eh...? Oh okay. You sure? Honey you don't sound well. I'll come over soon. I- Huh? No no no it's fine! Ino is coming with us tomorrow. Ali." Her voice went serious.
"...Fine... I kno- I'm not overreacting! I just want to make sure you're okay!....Yeah yeah yeah, go enjoy watching your stupid show."
The last thing I heard in that call was her boyfriend screeching "ITS NOT STU-" and I found it hilarious how it cut off.
"What was going on?" I questioned. Curious what he did. I know that he is clumsy... so maybe he fell?
"Oh I heard weird noise. Almost like he was grunting. Like he was straining. I don't know. He told me he was shoveling the snow. Not sure if snow sounded wet though." Sakura shrugs it off. I, however, was deeply worried. I may not have dated many people but I do know alot about relationships. I think Sakura is too tired to even think maybe something is wrong. I heard many red flags.
One. He sounded like he didn't want Sakura to come over. Even though he states he's shoveling snow. Two, there's too much weird noise. Three, wet noise. Wet.... noise...
I really don't want to scare Sakura. I wanna say maybe he's cheating. But maybe I'm overreacting. I'll let it go for now.
"Hoough... I'm so tired... I'm on vacation and I still cannot get the sleep I need." She groaned, resting her head.
"Did my suggestion not help?" I had given her some things she can do that could help her sleep much easier.
"No... not really. Sorry Ino. Thanks for the help though." Sakura sighed. Smirking, I looked into her eyes.
"Maybe you're not having enough sex with him?"
"INO YAMANAKA!!!" Sakura yelled while I burst out laughing at her reaction. She punched me in the shoulder.
"O-Ow!" I say as I'm still laughing. Sakura soon joined in the giggles.
"God I hate you."
"I know you love me."

"Hi hunny!" Sakura gave a kiss on Ali's lip which he returned the love. Gross... kissing is all cute but it's kinda odd to see it up so close. Bleh.
"Glad you girls could make it. Why don't you two go inside? I'll be right behind." Ali said. I nodded at him and went inside with Sakura. Eventually finding a seat at the bar and ordering our drinks. Soon Ali joined. We chatted, talking about jobs and life stuff.
"So Ino, if you don't mind me asking this, how the hell are you still single? I would have thought you'd be the first one to be in a relationship." Ali had questioned. Sakura looked at me while sipping her drink. I nervously drank.
"It's.... complicated." I said. Sakura groaned. She also asked me this question many time. I alway said the same answer. The truth was, I'm gay. I've not told anyone about this. I'm just not ready to open up about this. Not when there's people yelling at the LGBTQ that it's a sin.
"I see. Honey? Do you wanna do a challenge? I bet you'll lose." Ali grinned. Sakura had a smirk.
"Oh yeah? What is the challenge?"
"Drinking challenge."
"Ha! You're weak to alcohol!! I like to see you try to beat me!"
oh boy.
I sip on my drink looking amused.
"A-Another shot!" Sakura shouted. Her cheeks were red. She's obviously drunk. Too drunk.
"Alright Sakura that's enough." I stopped her. She glared at me. I flinched. She held my shoulders shaking me.
"Why MUST you be so pretty!!!" Sakura complained. UwaHhh I'm going to puke-
Sakura grabbed her shot and gulped it down. Letting out a sigh. She won the challenge. Poor Ali was so- ... fine? He doesn't look drunk. I didn't know he had good alcohol tolerance. Maybe he wanted his girlfriend to win. How cute.
"Erm..." I stared at my drunk friend, swaying a lot.
"I'll take her home. Don't worry." Ali told me. I let out a hum. I saw him take Sakura outside. I stared at the cup that was Sakura's. There was this weird bumpy thing at the bottom. It looked like wet powder.
"Er... Sir? Did you use sugar on this drink?" I asked the bartender. He nodded. I didn't let it worry me. I decided to go home. Even though it's winter break, I still have a job at the flowers shop. Luckily, barely anyone goes there. I mean, who buys flowers in winter? Unless– it's for people who is having difficulties.

"Ahh... this feels nice." I mumbled to myself. It was morning and my routine is taking a quick shower. I love taking warm showers in the winter. It always feels nice. I got out to dry my hair. I'm lucky to not have thick or curly hair, or else having it long would be a nightmare.
Once I'm done with makeup and dressing up, I went to go make my breakfast. Soon hearing a mrrowl. I have a white fur Maine Coon named Shiro. She's just a sweetheart. Maine coons are pretty big, and I love that. I gave my cat some food.
Honestly, my morning routine is boring. I'm alone, I don't really have anything to do other then work or hang out with friends. Being an adult is lame.
Wonder how Sakura is doing?

The pinkette was too dizzy and exhausted to even realize that something bad was happening to her right now. Her mind was all mush. Unaware of the situation.
She just feels so... safe and calm.
