Love At First Sight

7

Gojo Satoru doesn't believe in love at first sight.

The thought of falling in love with someone at first sight seems stupid. Shallow. Fake. Falling in love with someone because of their looks? Falling in love with someone because of the personality they outwardly projected? For the small things they did?

Interest maybe but falling in love? At first sight? Satoru calls bullshit at that.

Heart is a fragile thing. The most strongest yet weakest part of the human body.

Immediately falling in love with someone at first sight is dumb. Giving your heart, breakable and fragile, easily at someone when you don't even know them is dumb.

Satoru doesn't believe in love at first sight. Doesn't believe in the notion of finding one attractive and immediately thinks "They have to be mine" or "They're meant to be with me".

It was bullshit.

But standing there, his piercing blue eyes wide behind his mask, and staring at the silver haired beauty, Satoru thinks that he might believe all the lies that came with 'Love at first sight'.

The curse that had attacked him was weak, old it was. Could be easily defeated but Satoru humoured him a bit, curious with how a special grade, intelligent and with mind had not been noticed by the Jujutsu Society.

They'd been fighting on the road. Explosions and flames sent his way. Jogo, the curses name, was cocky. Though he did have the right. He was a special grade curse after all, an unknown to the Jujutsu society.

If Satoru wasn't who he was, he'd be toasted by now.

The curse looked like he was ready to breakdown right then and there when he finds out that none of his attack grazed Satoru, even just a little bit.

Cockiness and underestimation could get someone killed. Had already killed.

Satoru is an exception of course. He's strong. The strongest with people cowering with fear and falling on their knees at his feet with respect.

He's strong and he knows it.

He was also gonna make it known to the Curse in front of him when Satoru felt it.

A strong cursed energy, pure white and thrumming with static, like a thunderstorm waiting to be unleashed pops in his rader.

It dashes out of the woods, nothing but a white blur and lightning. Landing between him and the curse, body angled to keep the two of them in line of sight.

Satoru watches, mesmerised as the god of lighting himself descends on them, white lighting crackling around his body and highlighting his silver hair.

It makes the air sharp with static, heavy with power. He could practically taste it, could feel the tingle.

Satoru watches the man who could've been his long lost twin. Clad in a black form fitting sleeveless turtle neck, black pants that stop mid calf and wrapped with bandages, a black open toed boots and a utility belt and holster in his left thigh, the stranger stands there and Satoru is boggled at how the man looked almost exactly like him.

Save for the height and wrong placement of the mask, they'd look exactly like each other!

Silvery-white spikey and floofy hair held by a bandana tied around his forehead, a mask covering half of his face leaving his eyes the only features.

And those eyes, so utterly pretty and holding barely hidden nightmares and power, the scar that goes vertically on his left eye adding to it's beauty.

An ink black pinwheel dizzily spins in sea of crimson red, reflected with the lighting sizzling around his body.

Curious and mystified, Satoru inches a bit closer, adrenaline rushing in and he feels like he's going blind with how pure and bright the man's cursed energy was.

It was something he'd never seen before, so strong and bright and Satoru is curious. He was an anomaly and Satoru wanted to know more.

"Maa, you think I could join?," The stranger adorably tilts his head, eyes closed into a smile. His voice was silky and smooth and he was not exaggerating when he said it was pleasant to the ears.

Satoru enthusiastically nods his head, agreeing immediately. Excitement fills him up and he feels lightheaded, like that time he'd smoked weed with Shoko for the first time.

Things are a blur after that but he never takes his eyes off on the silver haired god.

He descends on the poor curse with barely hidden excitement, like a vengeful god of lightning ready to take and take and Satoru will give.

He follows through easily, sending a devastating attack to cover up for the silver haired man.

Hatake Kakashi he said his name was and wasn't that a nice name, almost as nice as his own.

He thought that the lightning was the man's sole technique but Satoru watches, pleasantly surprised as he easily manipulates the 5 elements, all while maintaining the lightning around him.

The lightning strikes fast and hot, making the air like an elastic band ready to snap. The clouds roll above their heads as the sky rumbles with thunder, lightning flashing and commanded by Kakashi and Kakashi alone.

Hatake Kakashi was powerful, Satoru could tell. Strong and graceful, he moved like a warrior who'd gone into many battles, fought like he'd been deprived of it, shown violence with no hesitation.

And that's only him, not taking into account those red eyes. Red eyes in the shade that he'd only ever seen in the King Of The Curses. Unique and strong in a way Satoru's six eyes was.

Kakashi wasn't a human. He was a damned God with the most attractive face ever because Satoru could see past his mask, could see the defined features like Satoru. He could fucking see, could practically feel the sheer power the man was practically oozing, could practically taste it and Satoru wonders what he would reallytaste.

He was strong like Satoru. Skilled like Satoru. Was a god like Satoru.

Yet that wasn't all Kakashi had.

Satoru jolts in surprise once again when one of the Jogo's attack goes through him, like a ghost. A phantom untouched with the world's law.

Intangible. Like Satory's infinity. Both of them untouchable with supreme power.

Reality and space bent for Satoru and Satoru alone. Blessed with God's power and destined to be at the top, to be the strongest and be revered by everyone.

He thought he was the only one worthy for the power, worthy to be at the top and be the strongest.

Yet here Hatake Kakashi was, defining every logic and laws of the universe.

Satoru watches, captivated and heart thumping hard in his ribcage as the space around the man swirled and flashed white before he's gone, not a beat later appearing behind Jogo.

His pupils dilates, nearly blinding himself as he watches the attack in Kakashi's hand with amazement, chirping like birds and crackling with white lightning.

He drives it through the curses chest and moves out of the way for Satoru, giving him an opening without words and for the first time since him, his heart beats for love instead of life.

They moved in sync, like a well oiled machine. Moved like they had the same minds, like they could read each other easily. Moved like they'd known each other since forever.

Moved like they were meant for each other.

A lightning bolt strikes from the thundering sky, sharp and loud and ear-deafening, it leaves static that send tingle down everyone's present spines, their hair raised on its end.

The curse lands sinks under the water, alive but severely injured and Satoru keeps his eyes on the silver haired god.

Reality and space bent for Satoru and he thought he was the only one. Blessed with God's power and destined to be at the top, to be the strongest and be revered by everyone.

Yet here Hatake Kakashi was, defining every logic and laws of the universe.

Power poured off him, filling the whole area with his white cursed energy and Satoru feels lightheaded.

Kakashi was strong and Satoru has lost of how many times he'd said that, of how many times he'd considered Kakashi as near equal.

"Through heavens and earth, I alone, am the honored one".

Seems like I'm not alone after all, Satoru thinks pleasantly as he circles around the man, cheerily smiling and trying to ignore his beating heart.

Around them, the forest lays waste. Upturned land and craters on the ground, burning tree's and splintered wood, grey foams of smoke rising from the large flames. It burns bright, the orange light casting a beautiful glow on the standing stranger in the middle of the lake.

"Man, that was fun!," Satoru laughs out loud, still high with adrenaline.

"Mhmm, thanks for letting me join, Gojo-San," Ah! How polite, Satoru cooes in him.

"Don't thank me, Kakashi-San! I'd love to fight with someone strong once again! It's rare to see someone as powerful as you these day and also harder to find someone who could match me in speed and strength!," he chuckles.

The man's hand comes up to rub his nape, bashfully looking away, "I wouldn't mind fighting with you once again, Gojo-San".

"Please call me Satoru!," he claps his hand just as a thought enters his mind.

"Ah! Would you mind waiting for me for a moment?," He asks and Kakashi nods at him, making him teleport to his student immediately.

He's filled with giddiness as he scoops his student by the waist, ignoring his confused sputtering and teleports back where Kakashi was patiently waiting on the water, eyeing the surface where the curse had sunk.

"Yuuji-Kun!," he chirps, moving his student forward to meet the his future husba- his new acquaintance, "This is Hatake Kakashi! He's strong and a friend of mine, Kakashi-San, this is Itadori Yuuji, my student".

"Nice to meet you Hatake-San!," Yuuji greets cheerfully.

"Ah.. Nice too meet you as well," Kakashi greets, his red eyes dark and narrowed, no doubt seeing the curse inside Yuuji.

"Uhm, Sensei, what are we doing here?," Yuuji asks, looking away from Kakashi who'd been staring at him with those dangerous eyes. He was sweating, the gaze on him no doubt heavy and intense.

"I'm here to show you what a special grade cursed is! And what domain's are and how to effectively fight it!," He pats the teens shoulder.

"E-eh? Domain? A special grade?," Yuuji blinks, before looking around, "Wait! A curse! Where is it then!?".

"Over there," Kakashi points his fingers and Satoru follows it with Yuuji, seeing the bubbling surface of the water, not surprised when the curse burst out of it, injured and looking like he was ready to explode.

"Wah! Its the mount Fuji!," Yuuji cries out, pointing a finger at the curse, making Kakashi snort and Satoru laugh brightly at the realisation.

"You're right!," He laughs, "How come I've never notice that before?! His head really does look like Mount Fuji!".

"E-eh, Sensei, do you think it's really a good thing for us to laugh when there's a special grade in front of us?," Yuuji nervously scratches his head.

"It's fine isn't it?," Satoru cheerily laughs, patting the teens head and staring at the curse, "I mean, this guy is weak".

"Mhmm, yes, he does look like the Mount Fuji, he looks like an active volcano ready to burst," Kakashi off handedly comments and as though on cue, fire bursts on top and side of the curses head.

Jogo, with no prompt, brings fort his domain, intent in burying them in hot lava, spitting curses and death threats with an enraged face.

"Domain Expansion: Coffin of The Iron Mountain," He screeches, angry and pissed, his fingers folden into signs.

Reality twists and lava pours out everywhere, hot and commanded by the Curse. The domain swallows them, heavy with cursed energy and if Satoru wasn't who he is, he'd be dead know.

He eyes the upturned land around them, hard rocks covered by lava. Yuuji inches closer to him while Kakashi looks around curiously, fingers twitching.

He removes his blindfold, exposing his eyes that looked like it had been carved out of the sky, bright and blessed and unique only to him framed by snow white lashes.

He revels in the surprised gasps around him and twists his fingers, bending his middle finger behind his index and says the name of his domain that would end everything.

"Domain Expansion: Limitless Void".

His technique easily over powers the curse.

Turning everything white for a moment before sounds and colors rush in. He knows it's effects, what it causes and what reactions it would get out. Memories and emotions, the whole world and the knowledge of the universe presented to their feeble minds.

It all happens in one second, Satoru's technique rendering everyone frozen for a moment then it's all gone. He flashes to the drooling curses side, Jogo's eyes dazed.

Satoru's hand land on top the curses head, squeezing it tightly as his body crumble in ashes.

The head rolls on the ground and he eyes it dispassionately.

He starts his interrogation, places a foot on top of the head with the urge to play with it like a soccer ball.

He places back his blind fold, sighing as the curse seems to be still recovering from his domain. Satoru isn't surprised, that was normal after all.

Even Yuuji was blinking dumbly though Satoru was also worried about Kakashi. The man was looking rather dazed, cursed energy swirling with agitation and longing and grief, fueling it.

Out of nowhere, a wooden ball comes out of nowhere, the Cursed energy it was laced with spiking before a field of flowers appears out of nowhere.

Satoru immediately flashes beside Yuuji and scoops the teen up, barely dodging the flames that spewed out of Kakashi's mouth, setting everything up in flames.

A curse darts out of nowhere and takes Jogo's head, immediately escaping and using the burning flames to move out of the way.

Before Satoru could do anything, Kakashi is immediately on the flower curse, following it and disappearing into the canopy of leaves with it.

Satoru muses as he and Yuuji put out the flames, not wanting too let it grow into a forest fire.

Kakashi comes back few minutes later, looking annoyed and hazed. Like he was remembering something.

"It's gone, no traces whatsoever," He growls and Satoru shivers subtly, not aware that the man who had a pleasant and silky voice could make such deep and guttural sound.

"We should go back then! I'll have to report this to the Higher Ups and I also have to return Yuuji back," He claps his hands.

"Return with you?," Kakashi tilts his head, "Sorry but I can't do that".

"I'm sorry Kakashi-San," He apologises genuinely, "But I can't let you go, your currently an unknown sorcerer and could be deemed as a threat, the Jujutsu Corps will send people after you".

"Sorcerer? Jujutsu corps?," Kakashi looked genuinely confused and intrigued, "Is that what you guys call yourselves?".

Satoru stares in astonishment as the man he'd consider to be worthy of his attention and could stand by his side looks confuse at the mention of Jujutsu and sorcerer.

So utterly strong yet absolutely clueless at the same time.

Was he even aware of the power he possess? Of how much it would upset the balance of the Jujutsu world? Was he even aware of how much it meant for Satoru too see him as a near equal?

Reality and space bent for Satoru and he thought he was the only one. Blessed with God's power and destined to be at the top, to be the strongest and be revered by everyone.

Hatake Kakashi was an unknown, a man full of mystery and questions with so little answers.

Satoru was the strongest. Reveled and feared, he was the Chosen one, the one who had the power to make everything his if he wants to. The universe rearranged itself to fit Satoru and his eyes, rearranged to fit him, a god born.

Satoru doesn't believe in love at first sight. Doesn't believe in the notion of finding one attractive and immediately thinks "They have to be mine" or "They're meant to be with me".

It was bullshit.

But standing there, his piercing blue eyes wide behind his mask, and staring at the silver haired beauty, so strong and powerful, the proof that Satoru wasn't the only one who's been chosen, the one who had the strength and right to stand by Satoru as he makes his dream come true, Satoru thinks that he might believe all the lies that came with 'Love at first sight'.
