Do you trust me ?

After Sasori fought his old grandma and Sakura, everyone thought that battle ended with the death of Akatsuki member Sasori, but he was not. He is Sasori the scorpion of the red sand .
.
.
.
Deidara stumbled among hundreds of broken wooden puppets. It was definitely a horrific battlefield. He stumbled upon many pieces of wood that were once an art and a weapon that older member would be proud of. But now it was nothing but dust.
• "Master Sasori!" . Deidara shrieked as he panted among the puppets for one with the familiar red hair that was supposed to be the body of his puppet master. But to no avail. Which made terror and fear shake every cell in his body. There was an idea screaming in his mind and making him crazier. He kept repeating inside him, "Can't that little girl and the old woman defeat him... Hmm?".
• "Sasori Dana! Where the hell are you!" . He cried out again in exasperation and despair, a part of him could have been happy because not finding his partner's body proves he's alive, right? . But... why is he worried in the first place? Wouldn't Sasori's defeat prove that he was wrong about his opinion of the real art? Does this not mean a victory for Deidara and his art?.
• "Damn! Damn! Damn! Sasori Dana! I won't forgive you if you're dead! I'll never forgive you!" . He cried crying as he kneeled on the ground and punched the ground with his fist, but when he opened his eyes overflowing with tears, he noticed scattered drops of purple blood as they were taking a path. He looked at them in astonishment and followed them with his eyes to where they ended. after he was kneeling on the dirt, he got up and ran quickly to a nearby cave where little drops of blood led him.
• “Sasori? Sasori, are you here?” . Deidara entered the cave frantically searching for any sign of his companion. The cave was extremely dark, but he somehow managed to notice red hair and something luminous in the depths of the cave.
• "Sasori Dana!" . He hurried over to him and when he arrived, it was Sasori already but his eyes were closed and very calm. As for the luminous thing, it was chakra as if it emitted or interfered with his heart. Deidara swallowed his saliva and asked calmly and anxiously.
• "Sasori Dana? Are you treating yourself? Hmm?" . He just stated near him. He didn't know what to do. He watched his partner anxiously, not knowing if he was alive..but there is chakra! That mean, he was alive..right?. He blinked his eyes twice when he saw a piece of paper folded in a rectangle and placed next to Sasori's head across from Deidara's seat. He did not see it at the beginning because it was very dark in the cave. He pulled it carefully and opened it to find it was a message.
.
.
.

before Deidara arrives...

Blurred vision and a burning pain in his heart as if all the nerves in the remaining human part of his body were burning like hell , but why the pain was spreading...?. He tried to open his eyes with difficulty. His vision was blurry and unstable. In the seconds which he was able to open his eyelids a little bit he glimpsed of an old woman hovering over him. Which made many questions race through the corners of his mind.
° 《Who is she ? Could she be that old woman? . Why... I am hurt? ... why ...this pain? . The puppets' body is supposed to not feel, isn't it ? .what's going on with me? . did the transfer technique fail and I actually died? ...or am I hallucinating and dying . I ...can't ...stay... conscious ... anymore .”. He closed his eyes helplessly, and fell into complete darkness.
• “It will not fix up the past, and it will not erase my mistakes, it is a pity that this is all I can do for my grandson.” the grandma spoke while she was placing both her hands on Sasori's chest and high energy chakra surrounding her hands and on Sasori's chest.
• “This is a forbidden technique that I developed myself. It will set you back. Anyway, I wouldn’t be able to do this now if you hadn’t changed the puppet's body at the last minute. I would probably have praised you, my grandson.”.
.
.
.

Deidara took a few minutes, looking shocked at the lines written in the letter.
• " I do not believe ..." . He folded the letter and hid it in his clothes well, then looked at his partner's body lying on the rocky ground of the cave. The chakra was now gone.
• “Mr. Sasori, hm?” . No reply, no small gesture. Then Deidara sighed and added.
• " Okay ..." . He leaned over and lifted his companion's body off the hard rocky ground of the cave to carry him on his back, but of course Sasori couldn't hold on to Deidara because he was passed out so to speak. So Deidara tied his waist with Sasori by canvas belts. He also tied Sasori's wrists with another cloth and tied them around his neck, which was making him feel cold on his skin. Although Sasori was always cold but this time was scary for Deidara. His hands grabbed Sasori's inner thighs to give him more stability and safety, then Deidara silently carried Sasori out of the cave. As soon as they came out, he threw a white clay statue in the form of a small bird. It quickly turned into a huge eagle with a signal from Deidara's hand. He was carrying Sasori and climbed over the white eagle to fly them high in the sky with another sign from Deidara's hand. As soon as they were at a suitable height and the bird was balanced, Deidara moved Sasori's body into his cage and wrapped his arms around him as if to protect him from accidentally falling. A strange and serious look appeared on Deidara's face as he stared forward and combed Sasori's hair with his fingers. That resolute look did not leave him even when he reached his destination, which was a small house ingeniously hidden in the surrounding mountainsides.
He descended while he was carrying Sasori on his shoulder with one arm, to make a gesture with his other hand, which was enough for the large bird to disappear with a puff of smoke. Then he entered the house and closed the door with a shove of his leg.
• "Here's Sasori Dana, welcome home." . He spoke softly while carefully laying Sasori's body on the bed.
• "It's my place, my little secret from my childhood, so to speak. Hmm.". He stared at the cold, dead features of Sasori's face. For a while, Deidara felt stupid to talk to someone he knew he wouldn't answer, but it wasn't like he could.
.
.
.

It was three days.

Three days and Sasori doesn't move, not even an inch. During that time, Deidara had done the thing he detested most . Which was studying! . He had read medical books that belonged to the original owner of the house, which Deidara hadn't blown up at the time because part of him thought it would be useful one day. He read about how to take care of a person who entered a coma.
• "Damn it! But how do these things work with a wooden body!" . He grumble out loud. He rubs his scalp and scatters his long blond hair until it looks like a broom made of straw.
• "Everything I studied will not help me! Just what was that old woman thinking at the time!" . He threw the book to hit the wall in front of him and then fell to the ground.
• "Even you, Sasori Dana! What were you thinking when you turned yourself into a puppet! You are indeed a family of weirdos! Your weirdness must be contagious, so here I am talking to myself! Damn this damn that damn everything!" . He screamed and screamed and did not stop screaming until his strength was exhausted. He said crying in a trembling voice and tears running down his face profusely, like a child who his favorite toy had stolen.
• “Please… Sasori Dana… Wake up… I don’t know what to do on my own… I’m an idiot and an idiot as you always said… I need you to guide me… So… please….”.
• "..ah...ah...." A weak moan reached Deidara's ears, and he quickly realized who his owner was.
• "Sasori Dana!" . He quickly ran to him and knelt beside him.
• "Dana, can you hear me?!". He was looking at Sasori's features for any response. any indication. But for some reason he felt that his partner was in pain.
• "Ahh...". Another moan escaped from between his clenched teeth.
• "Sasori Dana! Are you in pain? But you said you couldn't, right? What can I do?" .
• "Naaah!!" . A agonized shriek was louder than his previous moan, accompanied by the sound of a wooden crack.
• "Oh! Hey, hey.." . Deidara removed the robe that Sasori had previously worn, which was in fact one of Deidara's old clothes. And what he saw made him scream in terror.
• "Damn it! What is this?." . As soon as he removed the blue robe from Sasori's chest, he discovered a big and terrifying crack extending diagonally from his right collar bone down to the side of his left abdomen. Deidara's brow sweated anxiously, not knowing what to do. He felt that his friend and partner were dying in his hands. The fact that he was ignorant of his master's art did not help. He didn't know what to do. It was useless.
• “But I am an artist with explosives! Reform is not my specialty at all!” . He cried out in despair and grief. He couldn't help. Sasori always treated him in secret after their missions. He was the only one Sasori treated with the pretext that he didn't want to spend his energy on the rest of the Akatsuki members. But now, when it was his turn to help, he stood helpless and useless. Their villages abandoned them because they were members of the Akatsuki . And he couldn't go to the Akatsuki headquarters now because that meant the death of both of them either by the ninjas from the five villages or by the Akatsuki themselves. Deidara was always lonely in his childhood, but he never felt so lonely as now. He did not realize that he was crying helplessly. His tears fell on his sleeping companion's face, running down his cheeks as if they were weeping. He reached out his hand to the red-haired face to wipe those tears away. But he noticed something that almost stopped his heart.
• "W.. Where is your heart?! I was sure that the cylinder bearing the name of the Scorpion was here!". He was Touching the location of Sasori's heart, which was once his only weakness, but now his heart does not exist, not even its hollow place! .

• “Ahh!!!” . Another painful shrieked peeling from between Sasori's teeth as soon as Deidara touched the left side of his chest. Sasori's violent trembling made Deidara even more frightened as he stumbled backwards and ran out and hovered on the back of his carved falcon when he cried out, hoping to somehow hear him.
• "Wait for me, Dana! I'll be back with help for sure!! If you can move, please don't move until I'm back!". Deidara shouted these words as he quickly flew.

At the same time, but in another place .

• “So it is, no wonder that it is illogical for grandma Chiyo to help Konoha village which killed her son, not without personal motives and goals.”.
• “But Mrs. Tsunade, she could have saved her grandson if she wanted to without giving her life to get Gaara back.”.
• "Kankuro , why do you think she wrote her will with only the details that you want us to know? She obviously had more than enough time to write this will, why didn't she mention details of how Akasuna no Sasori will be returned to a human body?".
• "This... perhaps because it is not an important detail of her claim?". Tsunade sighed and then answered her own question.
• "In order to convey a hidden message that we are compelled to carry out her will. If not for the sake of her life, it is because of our curiosity about the details not mentioned!" . Silence pervaded the place until Kankuro broke it.
• "then ... then what are we going to do?" . Tsunade got up from her office and stood in front of the office window overlooking Konoha village, then said.
• "That grandmother was able to twist the arms of two villages at the same time, and we have no choice but to carry out her will, at least in response to dept !" . She turned again to Kankuro firmly.
• "Kankuro! Find Akasuna no Sasori... and do what Grandma recommended!" .
• " Yes sir ! " . He left immediately.

Tsunade turned again to the window overlooking the hidden village she was caring for. She watched how the villagers go about their daily business in peace without knowing what was happening around them. She spoke to herself in a low voice, and perhaps too ambitious intentions.
• "If that boy is fluent in the same technique...maybe it will open new horizons for medical ninjutsu!" .
.
.
.

Deidara was hovering over the sand village and trying to spot someone from afar with his robotic eye.
• "Fuck! Where is the man who was imitating Dana?!" . He cursed impatiently, not as if he already had time, his older friends' buddy might be dying now! .To no avail, he decided to look elsewhere.
He decided to leave, he was flying on the back of his carved falcon, but when he was at the border, he noticed a person in black clothes that made him visible on the vast expanses of sand.
• “Is that?! Hm?”. He landed at a sharp angle to stand at a safe distance from the other ninja. He called him questioning.
• "So, you that one who imitated Sasori Dana, Kunikoro?". That made him respond to the other angrily
• “My name is Kankuro!”.
• "Whatever! I don't care, be cooperative and give me all the manuscripts for the puppets !".
• "I'm afraid I can't." . He said it defiantly provoking the other, he shouldn't have messed with the explosion boy.
• "Fuck you! I don't have time, it seems you don't want things to be easy." . He reached into his sleeve and took out small sculpted pigeons and threw them towards the puppet master to become the size of real pigeons that surrounded the puppet master , and all this happened in seconds. As soon as Deidara was about to blow them up. Kankuro screamed.
• "Wait! You have to use your brain first, I also want to see Mr. Akasuna no Sasori !" .
• “And why?” . He was still pointing with his hand in preparation and warning that the pigeons would explode at any moment. Like someone playing with their fingers around the trigger.
• “We have an order to take care of him and help him pass this stage, then forgive everything he did previously.”.
• “Not a funny joke at all.”. Deidara bitterly mocked what he had heard.
• “I can show you the evidence of the truth of my words, but we are carrying out Grandma Chiyos' will in response to the debt for her standing with Konoha’s ranks first, then returning Gaara and sacrificing her life! We just pay our debts .”.
• “How can I trust you?! How do I know that you are not deceiving me? Enemies cannot become friends overnight.”.
• "You can blow up the whole place if I do something suspicious!".
• "Of course I promise!".
• "Then C'mon, if we have agreed. You know that time is not on anyone's side.".
• "tsk". He had no options. And he was never good to plan. Drawing complex plans and choosing the best options available was Sasori's job. He was dictating to Deidara what to do. And now he has to take a risk to save him. If what he chooses will put them in danger, if Sasori will scold him and pinch his ear for his foolishness. Then let it happen ! . As long as there is a chance to save him. As long as there is hope, even if it is weak. He will take risks and protect him as much as he can. He would do anything to save his fellow fanatic about his opinion of art. for Sasori. So, Deidara took Kankuro with him and they flew together...

While flying towards Deidara's place where Sasori was left there. The puppeteer tried to explain to Dedara in order to gain his trust more.
• "It is an unknown technique, as the grandmother said, and she implemented it for the first time on her grandson. Therefore, the results are unfortunately not guaranteed.".
• "...".
• "According to what was mentioned, Mr. Akasuna will return to a human body instead of a puppet's body.".
• "What the hell are you saying? He would rather die than this." . He said it angrily. He hated the whole situation. He wasn't as distracted before as he is now.
• "That was Grandma's decision...".
• "Grandma's decision, huh? This makes it worse." . They turned sharply to descend to a foot that could only be reached by flight, which was surrounded by a very deep valley, and the foothills of the mountains and thick forests perfectly concealed it. Kankuro was looking around in astonishment until he woke him up and poke him from behind on his shoulder as Deidara said curtly.
• "Come on inside.".
• "Aren't you overly hot-tempered?!". They entered the house under Deidara's cautious gaze, and Kankuro led to where Sasori had been left asleep in a futon. As soon as they saw Sasori, Deidara was terrified of what he saw.
• "Sa-- Sasori Dana! What's up? Are you in pain?" . Sasori was on his right side holding the place of his heart, as if he was suffering from chronic heart pain or as a person in a heart attack.
• " let me see ..." . Kankuro said as he came from behind Deidara and made way for the other one to sit on his knees. And he addressed his words to Sasori.
• “Let me see!, Mr. Sasori.”. He said that and forcibly removed Sasori's hands to make the latter scream in pain. Which made Deidara grab Kankuro's shoulder and speak to him in a strong tone.
• "You! Do you have to be violent?!" .
• "Have you ever felt that your nerves are all tight and stiff and hurt like hell? That's what happens to him! He won't be able to move an arm if you ask him to.".
• "But he's a puppet !" .
• "How many times do I have to tell you he's back as a human being!--Shit, look at this...". . Sasori's chest was smashed and smashed, but all the pieces didn't budge. Kankuro tried to touch it to check if it was really fixed. As soon as he touched him, he cried out, terrifying them both.
• “Ahhh!!!” . He shivered as if he had been struck by an electric shock as soon as he touched him with the tips of his fingertips. It made the two shocked, the first shocked by the reality of what he sees as Kankuro, and the other shocked because he does not understand anything around him except that his master is in pain.
• "I think that the main organs of the chest have already been formed, so his wooden chest is broken. He is returning a human from the inside out, the wooden parts will all fall in succession like dead skin, to reveal his human body,".
• "How did you know all that?!" .
• “The grandmother wrote that in her will.”.
• "And how do we help him?" . He asked helplessly and in an annoyed tone, that it was hard for him to find his enemy better able to take care of his friend.
• "Calm Deidara, all we can do is ease the pain with something insignificant. And stop him from doing something crazy. Grandma said it's going to be hard because he hasn't felt a thing for two decades. After that it's going to be fits and it's not like it is now." .
• "It's...like rehabilitating the senses?".
• “Yes...we also need a medical ninja to treat some complications that may occur, of course that is when he is almost human.” . The last groan of Sasori as he struggled with the pain in his chest.
• "Bring me a towel and hot water.".
Deidara didn't understand what he might do with her, but he went to get what he was asked anyway. He placed a deep bowl filled with hot water and a large blue towel next to Kankuro.

The latter soaked the towel in water and then squeezed it and placed it on Sasori's smashed chest, who trembled severely at first, but slowly calmed down.
• "...what was that?...". Deidara asked surprised.
• "My mother used to put hot compresses on the places where I had cramps, it was kind of comfortable." . He said that while making sure that the towel was only on the broken parts.
• "So... through the cracks, will the heat reach his heart and lungs?" .
• “Yeah, you look like a girl trying to be a babysitter.”.
• "Shut up! Dana is not a baby and I'm not like a babysitter!".
• " Yes Yes ".

• "Then what are your motives! I can't believe you're doing this to the enemy just because of the advice of an old woman!" .
• "I.... I respect Mr. Sasori, he is my ideal, as you know I am a puppeteer too. I did not desire an unneeded or unfair end for the great puppet master.".
• "You said unfair?!" .
• “Yes, from my personal perspective...Konoha Village and Sona are the ones who made Mr. Sasori a Class S criminal.”.
• "...".
• "We'll take turns tonight. It's dangerous to leave Mr. Sasori alone. He has to find someone by his side in case something happens.".
• "Go to sleep, I'll take the turn first." . He was straying when he said that.
• " Okay " . After Kankuro left... Deidara strayed straying into the face of his dormant partner... Memories were piercing his memory.

Deidara's flashback ~
.
.
.
• "Oh, Dana, that's mean! Hm." . He protested as the other rubbed his ear, which had been pinched and pulled hard.
• "How long are you going to be clumsy, brat?" . He said with a frowning and annoyed face.
• "Okay! I admit that accidental detonation caused problems for our mission. But it has been accomplished!".
• "it wasn't perfect! Naughty.".
• "The important thing is that it's done! Who cares if it's perfect or not, as long as the required results have already been achieved! Hmm?" .
• "You don't understand! It's my fault. What did I expect from you anyway.".
• "It's because you're complicated! Dana.".
• "I'm not complicated. You are an idiot.".
• "Okay so be it ! Everyone's been an idiot at some point. Hasn't it?!" .
• "I don't remember being an idiot at all.".
• "Yes, you've certainly been a genius since you were born!" . He said it clearly sarcastically. This made Sasori stop so suddenly that he made Deidara two steps ahead of him before turning to him.
• "Dana? Heyyy!!" . Deidara was lifted into the air bound by the poisonous tail of the scorpion. It made him really worried as he saw the pointed end dripping poison close to his neck. He moved his blue eyes in their sockets to see his partner, and he wish he had not. Sasori used to speak to him with fatal features, not intending any good. It was as if all the demons in the world had been trapped inside its wooden hollow and it was time for them to appear.
• “Are you making fun of your master, brat?” . Deidara salivated before replying with a nervous and stray smile on his face.
• "D-Dana. Put me down and let us communicate... Please." . Sasori stared at him, then the usual boredom expression returned to his face and he threw Deidara from above.
• "Oooh! It hurts!!! Dana, why all this cruelty?". He stood and rubbed his ass on which he had fallen and wiped the dirt and grime from his clothes.
• "How I wish your mind were as mature as your bones."
• "Is this praise or slander?" .
• "I'm complicated, isn't it ? Then you won't understand me.".

Deidara bit his lips in annoyance for this memory that really burned inside him...
• "You've always been mysterious, Dana...how would I understand you if you were protecting yourself with thick walls?". Only silence and the sound of night bugs through the window answered his words.
• "Dana...if you don't pass that..." . He choked but continued.
• “I will not forgive you... I will not forgive you if you leave me alone....”.
To plunge his memory into the memory of the past once again.

Deidaras' flashback ~
.
.
.
• "Why do you want to know? Why are you snooping your older partner?". A woman with short hair decorated with an origami paper flower and calm features.
• "Just curiosity...I try to understand him more but he always throws me away whenever I try to have a conversation...But , Konan, wouldn't it be better if the partners got along?".
• "Ah, so... what do you want to know?" . He answer her enthusiastically.
• "Yeah! Hmm . okay. Why was he joining Akatsuki?".
Konan put her hand on her waist as she remembered the first meeting between her and Sasori.
• “Every Akatsuki member has his own reasons, but you can say he was kind of like you, Deidara.”.
• "Was he forced to join? Was Itachi too who forced him ?!" .
• “No, I was the one who invited him to Akatsuki... he kind of didn't have much of a choice for a fugitive ninja,".
• "Oh!!" . His lower jaw was drooping in astonishment at this unexpected information.
• " Why are you surprised ?" .
• "Hmm... No, it's just... I always thought Dana was difficult... I never imagined that someone could force him to do something.".
• "He also had interests...".
• "I see...Did you say he's a fugitive ninja?" .
• "You'd better ask him yourself, he might be angry if you snoop after him. You have to win his trust to be good partners. That's hard for Sasori because of his ex-partner's betrayal. Good luck.".

End of flashback~

He whispered in a low voice.
• “But, Dana … I am not him … I will not betray you… Do you trust me?” . He reached out to touch Sasori's soft red hair, but before reaching his fingers he froze when he heard a sound coming from the door.
• "Oh. Deidara, I can watch now. It's my turn. Go to sleep then--".
• “No, I don't feel sleepy anyway.. You can go back to sleep , Kankuro, I need you more when he gets agitated or something happens so you better be ready.”.
Kankuro hesitated and was silent for a bit . but when he realized that Deidara's insistence and that he would not budge. He sighed and left saying.
• "As you wish, but let you know that I will not be able to do anything on my own, especially if he regains consciousness. He does not trust me." . His last words stuck in Deidara's ears and he stared with pleading eyes at Sasori's features and his closed eyes.
• "Do you trust me, Dana?...".
