Chapter 2
Hope's pov
I wasn't really surprised when I saw Josie texting me to see her at the library after school. After all it was our spot and we spent almost all of our free time together. As I was walking to the library I heard someone say something about Josie agreeing to go on a date with Finch. I was met with pure jealousy when I heard that I thought that Josie would tell me something like that or maybe that's why she's asking me to meet her. She probably wants advice for her date. I zone back in and notice that I'm already at the library doors.
Josie's pov
I see Hope coming in and wave for her to come over. I smile to her when she waves back while walking at the same time. I look to the ground in front of her and see a book. Before she has time to react I have already caught her mid air after she tripped in the book. We stay there for a moment just looking at each other, in times like these it's very obvious that I'm over half a foot taller than her. Hope being 5'2 and me being 5'8 it forces me to look down and her to look up when we want to meet the others eyes. A sound of coughing stops our staring contest and the person behind the obviously fake coughing is my lovely sister Lizzie. While Hope and I gather ourselves Lizzie just looks at us with annoyed face. I must be blushing like a crazy person right now but I notice Hope blushing as well. Am I the reason or is she just embarrassed about her tripping.
Lizzie's pov
I was looking for my sister because I heard a rumor of her going out with the dog. What was her name again? Flich, Flinch why do I use my beautiful brain to think about this when it doesn't even matter. What matters is that my sister is not going on a date that will affect my reputation in anyway and I will make sure of it. As I was walking past the library I see Josie and Hope looking like they're about to kiss. As a great sister I will not allow the tribrid touch her in anyway because who knows what she might get from her, is it possible to get fleas from a werewolf? Anyway I decide that fake coughing would be the most efficient way to do this, unfortunately Josie looks mad that I did that. Wait does my sister have a crush on Hope, this can't be I'll have to ask her later. Now more important matters.
Josie why didn't you tell me you were going on a date with Flint?
Josie's pov
I stare at Lizzie confused. Wondering what the hell she's talking about suddenly it clicks she's talking about Finch, wait why does she think I'm going out with her when I haven't even given Finch her answer.
Why do you think I'm going out with Finch?
Lizzie's pov
Now it's my turn to look confused. Does she not know that Finch is telling people about their date or has she even agreed to go on this said date?
Hope's pov
I heard about it too. I'm guessing you didn't say yes to the date based on the look on your face.
Josie's pov
No I didn't I actually. I said to her that I would give her the answer tonight, because I wanted to ask your help for turning her down gently. I think she thought that me telling her that would mean a yes to the date.
Lizzie's pov
I heard Josie telling Hope that she was going to ask her for help. Why didn't my own sister want my help? Wait! You were going to tell Hope and ask her opinion but not mine? What kind of a sister are you!
Josie's pov
I watch as she starts to storm out
Wait Lizzie! I didn't mean it like I wouldn't ask for your opinion I just wanted to hear what my bestfriend thought about it before telling you that I said no to her.
Lizzie's pov
I'm still a little mad about you going to the wolf before coming to me but all is forgiven if you give our dorm to me for the night.
Josie's pov
But where am I going to sleep?
Lizzie's pov
I don't know, not my problem. Figure it out, I'll have MG come over for the night but don't worry we won't use your bed.
Josie's pov
Fine you can have the dorm, I'll just sleep on the couch in the common room.
Hope's pov
You can sleep with me. I mean in my dorm, we could have a little girls night. Maybe watch some Harry Potter.
Josie's pov
I was a little flustered when Hope said that I could sleep with her. Although I'm a little upset that she didn't mean the other kind of sleeping together, I'm still grateful for the affection I know I'll get from her tonight.
Thank you so much Hope, I'll owe you.
Hope's pov
I will accept your payment with cuddles in my bed.
Josie's pov
Deal.
At that point Lizzie had left the library and told MG that he could come over for the night.
