Relax?
after a long and quiet frankly tiring walk, we had finally arrived at Tazuna’s house,
I pushed my sweaty hair out of my face as I turned to my teammates with a smirk
I gave a grin as I claimed the first shower,
with a slow nod, Naruto had huffed as his nose wrinkled up “No offense Teme.. but you stink.”
Sakura nodded in agreement behind him,
My smirk turned into a scowl as I shut the door in his face before locking it, and with a thump, my backpack hit the tiled floor,
I gave the room a once over before my eyes locked on my reflection,
a grimace took over my face as I examined my appearance, my lower arms were covered in blood, now slowly flaking off of my skin,
along with that, my shirt was still damp with the red substance,
‘with my clothes being black luckily they won’t stain badly..?,
I let out a sigh and thanked myself for deciding to wear Itachi’s old clothing,
‘It’s better than what I’d look like wearing white and blue… the blood would never get out,
I scowled thinking about all the times after missions I had to try and bleach the blood out of my shorts,
I looked away from the mirror and moved over to turn the warm water on,
‘Maybe... I can get out of talking to Kakashi once he awakens?,
I pulled my shirt over my head, the bloody spots sticking to my skin and peeling slowly away,
‘I didn’t think about how I’d explain the stuff I shouldn’t know..,
Quickly pulling the rest of my clothes off, and after making sure to sit my extra weapons on the sink I hopped into the warm spray of water,
‘Not to mention that I yelled at him, I smirked ‘Not that he didn’t deserve it though.
my hands combined through my knotted hair, occasionally snagging and roughly pulling it,
‘Other than that… somethings definitely wrong with me,
my face fell into a frown, hands stilling for a moment before I continued to wash,
‘I may be in the past.. with a body that has smaller chakra reserves.. and overall I still haven’t got used to it.. but..,
I started to clean the excess blood that hadn’t washed away yet off,
’but I should not be this bad, even now.. things that I would have been able to do are harder, more taxing overall…,
once I was sure there was no more blood on me I turned the water off before stepping out,
‘Am I just that weak,
I tawled my hair dry, and with a small huff I dried the rest of my body,
as soon as that was done I walked over to my bag and un-clasped it,
I sorted through the rations and weapons I had stored in there,
I pulled out the extra set of clothing at the bottom of my bag along with a Kunai I had stashed in a side pocket,
sitting that to the side I quickly put everything else from earlier into the bag and closed it,
‘or is there something more at play,
I stood up and pulled the loose black sweatpants on,
After I pulled a long-sleeved loose shirt on, along with a pair of gray socks,
“OI! Teme!, hurry up! I and Sakura-Chan still need a shower as well!!”
I scowled grabbing my bag and opening the bathroom door with a click,
”.. I’m already done,” I huffed walking out,
Naruto stood up from the wall and gave me a cheeky nod,
“Well, I wasn’t sure!, Hay! Also, Sakura went ahead and put our sleeping bags out,” Naruto told me, and with that closed the door,
I let out a breath,
holding my bag in one hand I walked down the hall and into the room we were staying in,
I gazed across the room taking in the details
Sakura set on her sleeping bag hairbrush in hand trying to get the knots out of her hair,
I walked over to my sleeping bag and dropped my bag at the end before turning and walking over to Sakura,
”hand it here.” I held my hand out impatiently,
she looked up giving me a confused look, her hands stilling,
”The brush” I confirmed, “I know how to brush long hair without you having to yank it like that,”
Sakura gave a small nod and hesitantly held the hairbrush out,
I Snatched it “Turn around.”
She did as said, with her facing away I plopped down behind her,
with a careful hand, I gathered her hair up at the top and held it into a ponytail, and started to brush the ends,
”..um... Sasuke-Kun? not to pry.. but why are you helping me?” Sakura questioned softly,
my eyes flickered up to look at her face before I continued to focus on getting the tangles out,
”just because I don’t like you romantically, doesn’t mean I don’t care about my teammates,” I huffed, now brushing all of her hair,
with that I deemed it done I handed the hairbrush to her before I started to stand up,
”Sasuke …can I Do your hair as well? it’s just I noticed that it was quite tangled itself” She hesitantly asked making me freeze,
’I mean... it’s not like this will hurt anything,
with a sigh, I set back into my seat now facing away from her,
I closed my eyes as a brush started at the top of my head as she brushed my front hair into the rest,
I let myself relax slightly,
‘This is nice.., I haven’t actually done my own hair since before I came back in time…,
”done!” Sakura smiled,
I gave her a nod before standing up and moving to my own sleeping bag, “thank you”
She huffed, looking over from where she was putting it back in her bag, “It’s really no problem”
I nodded, and pulled myself into the sleeping bag, Sakura turned the light off as she walked out of the room to get her own shower,
My eyes snapped open,
’How the hell, did Naruto,! Get back into the room without me noticing!?,
Because, right next to me was Naruto laying in his own sleeping bag snoring,
I groaned, and closed my eyes
‘No, you know what... I’m not even going to question that,
