Leaving the compound was…
weird to say the least But walking around was also strange
Not being watched was also a change,
But Walking to school was surprisingly easy because I haven't been here in…..

I sighed opening the sliding-door walking in I was Instantly met with yelling
“OI! TEME! WHY ARE YOU LATE?!” Naruto walked over and practically yelled in my face,
pushing him away slightly I sighed

“I slept in” I respond looking away from him,
I moved around him and set down, I could see Shikamaru briefly look over before he closed his eyes again,

Tuning out the rest of the class I rested my head in my arms,
’god, this is strange,
Ino and Sakura had came over at some point and started to argue,
“well Sasuke who do you want to sit with you?”
I look up at them, they both looked at me expectantly
’i don’t want to deal with this right now,
“Naruto come sit with me”
looking at me confused naruto did what I asked, and slowly set next to me,
the girls looked stunned, there looks of hope slowly falling,

Naruto was unusually silent, but he might be able to tell I didn’t want to talk right now,
I Listened to Iruka-sensei's name off the teams and counted them down as they left,

I know Kakashi-Sensei would be late so I’m not as annoyed,
but naruto and Sakura were,
I lean back in the desk and watched as naruto set up a prank for Kakashi I smirked when he put the eraser up,
I know Kakashi could avoid the eraser if he wanted but that wasn’t going to change the outcome
but…
Kakashi was well he was Hokage at least in my time...
should I treat him as Hokage but.. he wasn’t one not yet anyway but…
I respected Kakashi way more than the current Hokage

I coughed to cover up my laugh as Naruto and Sakura outright laughed at it,
As they composed themselves I note Kakashi just leaning on the wall observing us
