Chapter 1
"ShikaMARUUUU!!!!" Ino groaned out loudly. She was currently hopping away, trying to avoid the enemies attacks.Ino was outnumbered. She's trying to find her teammate that she lost.
Suddenly, a smoke ball was thrown at her. The smoke stung, making her unable to see as she squeezed her eyes shut. Then she felt a sharp pain front and back. Letting out a scream.
She had been lured into a trap. She had been struck by arrows on her shoulder and hip. If it was normal arrows it wouldn't be a big deal. But this wasn't normal. It had poison on it and some kind of substance on it that burned. Her struck points felt like it was burning. The burning sensation was unbearable. It felt like someone poured acid on her muscles.
Ino fell to the ground groaning. She can hear the footstep getting louder. Ino pushed herself up and ran to find a hiding spot.
When Ino found a hiding spot, she gently leaned against the tree trunk. Ino is panting, trying her best to not make any noise that would attract attention.
"I- I can't f-feel my leg." She mumbled. Its numb. She couldn't can't move it either. That goes to her arm as well. She's been poisoned, unable can't heal. Her chakra has been drained due to it fighting against the poison that was taking over.
She didn't want to die. She prayed that her teammates would find her. Her eyes struggled to stay open.
Ino kept squirming around. Trying to get rid of her discomfort. The pain was agonizing. Ino bit her lips hard enough that they bled. She slowly slid down, soon laying on her side. Feeling breathless.
Her eyes had been squeezed shut. It hurts. Really bad. Her body curled up. The burning made her body feel like she's melting in lava. Her eyes failed to stay open. She fell into unconsciousness.
Nghh...
Someone is here. He had an unfamiliar chakra. Her eyes fluttered open. She felt so tired and weak. The pain still lied.
"Are... you okay ma'am?"
Ino gazed at the stranger. He had pale skin and black hair. He was not someone she knew. She could only let out a quiet groan.
"Erm..." The boy didn't know what to do. He grabbed Ino's arms and pulled her up to place an arm under her legs. Now carrying her in bridal style.
Ino worries that she's going to be kidnapped.
"NINJA ART INK BEAST!"

An ink like beast appears. The boy got on it and soon they were off.
"Oh my god what happened?!" Sakura shouted. She was already by Ino's side.
"She's been squirming and groaning, till now. She's not waking up. I do not know what is wrong with her."
"Got it."
Sakura grabbed the arrow from her friend's shoulder and pulled it out, making Ino wince. Immediately using medical jutsu to stop the bleeding. The wound wasn't life threatening but it was best to be safe. She did the same to the arrow on the hip. She scanned Ino's body first by hovering her hands over her.
Her eyebrows furrowed. She turned her head towards the male.
"Take her to the hospital now." Sakura ordered. The boy nodded and carried Ino to the hospital.
Eventually Ino was on an operation table. Sakura grabbed a bucket. Once she got them, she poured water in it. Soon adding special medicines in it.
"Ino, this will hurt." Sakura said before making the water float in her hands. She used her chakra blades to carefully open her up, carefully moving the medicine water inside. Ino hissed. The water was taking away the poison.
"It's going to be okay Ino. We're almost done." Sakura mumbled. Eventually, she was finished, closing up her wound. "Okay We're done. She should be good for now. She'll be exhausted so best to give her a day off tomorrow."
Sakura looks at Ino's face. She's still not awake. "Ino?"
"I'm still alive— just tired." Ino mumbled. She was finally not uncomfortable. Discomfort still lies but it's bearable.
Ino falls into a deep sleep. Finally able to relax.
It had been the next day and-
"Ow."
Ino was putting anti itch on her wound spots where she had been shot at. It had gotten unbearably itchy due to the burning and poison. It just stung to touch that particular spot.
"Stupid... mission." Ino muttered. She then heard door knocks. Running to the door, she sees her best friend Sakura.
"Hey Pig."
Ino was irritated by that name so she did a comeback.
"Sup Forehead."
Sakura's eyebrow twitched in irritation but she moved on. "How are you feeling?" She questioned.
"Better. Just itchy."
"I see. Well, I came here to invite you to barbecue. You didn't get a chance to meet our teammate." Sakura said. That's right. Team 7 was getting a new teammate.
"Sign me up." Ino smiled. Excited to meet this new person.
"H-Him?! The one who saved me?" Ino exclaimed. The boy waved.
"Hello. My name is Sai. Its nice to meet you."
Ino honestly didn't find Sai interesting like she thought he would be. He's just... meh. She sat next to him anyways.
"Ah, right, I found out that you normally give Nicknames to friends." Sai mentioned. Ino cocked her head.
"Oh really? Why don't you give Sakura one?" Ino pointed at her. Making Sakura glare.
"How...?" He asked.
"A Nickname for someone is what either describes them by looks or personality. For example, she calls me pig because my name means boar." Ino explain. Sai held his chin thinking. Eventually smiling at Sakura.
"I see. Thank you."
"Nut auh prublum." Ino spoke with her mouth full.
"Ugly."
Ino choked on her food. She started cracking up. It had taken EVERYTHING for Sakura to not beat the shit out of Sai. But boy was she gonna do that after this lunch.
"I- I see. Wha-What about Ino?"
Ino blinked. She looks at Sai next to him. Curious what he would say. Probably something bad since he's brutally honest.
"Erm.... Hello.... beautiful."
Ino froze. Her cheeks turned to a rose color. What did he just... say? Ino looks down at her hands blushing. Sakura was pissed off.
"What are you blushing about? Doesn't everyone call you that all the time?" Sakura questioned. Ino frowns.
"No. No one has ever called me beautiful. They just call me... Sexy and gorgeous." Ino said. "Sai I- uhm... t-thank you."
"You're welcome Beautiful." Sai smiled. Ino slowly hid her face.
She couldn't believe it. She kinda just met him and he's already calling her beautiful.
