Chapter 10
This mission was going to go horribly wrong. The team was uncoordinated, and the mission specifics had been left out. The client was behaving suspiciously and one of her new teammate was behaving as though he was going to kill them all at any moment.
She once again blamed Sasuke and Orochimaru for making her a target of assassinations and ROOT recruitment attempts.
"Knew it."-Annaisha
"What do you mean by that Mori-san-
AH-"-Tori
She grabbed onto Tori, her temporary teammate, and ran. It looks like she would need to work more on her sensory skills and not underestimate ROOT's ability to disguise their chakra. There was only one person she would need to protect but there were about 7 she needed to fight off. There was not much of a chance of them both surviving. She wouldn't be able to kill them all and with how coordinated they were with each other, her chances of not being extremely injured were low.
She kept running even when she felt a kunai stab her shoulder. They were trying hard to not kill her. They wanted to take her alive, at all costs. She paused as a light smile showed on her face.
She could do this.
"Hey, you want to live right, Tori?"-Annaisha
She would have to go a bit crazy but it could work.
Tori ran back to the attackers, praying to whatever god to make him come out of this alive or at least give him a quick death. Annaisha was also running behind him, although a bit slower.
The attackers paused for a second before two kunai rained down on them, he was sure he was going to die when he saw their speed and accuracy. But Annaisha jumped in front of him and the clone grinned before it burst into smoke. Three of the masked people jumped down while the rest watched, and alert, from above.
"Chakra-"-Masked man 1
He was blinded before he could say something. The rest of the men on top of the trees were also blinded from the flash bombs. They had discreetly been able to travel through the chakra strings which had been laid down. But, when did the chakra strings get so close to any of them?
"C'mon."-Annaisha
She had shunshin-ed behind Tori and grabbed him before he could say anything transported more chakra in her strings.
"Look back if you want to die with them."-Annaisha
He heard the sounds of at least 10 bombs go off behind them but he did not look back. The warning had been clear. There was not a second to waste.

Annaisha and Tori made it back alive. Tori was sent to the hospital immediately.
She was tired and wanted to go to her library, even Kakashi's place would do now that she thought about it. She just wanted her rest. That much was possible, right?
"Mori...? Another mission?"-Genma
"Yea. I'm tired, gonna head to Kakashi's house."-Annaisha
She faintly heard Obito saying something to Genma behind her but she didn't stop. She then realized that she could barely even walk straight. Her chakra was depleted. She was also likely poisoned, which was not ideal as she had already lost some blood from her other wounds and was suffering from chakra depletion. She frowned before continuing to walk, it's not as though she had much of a choice.
"Kashi-chan, you gotta take me to Orochi-sensei. 'M dying."-Annaisha
She had unknowingly used her nicknames for the two. Not that it bothered Kakashi more than seeing his childhood, and best, friend bleeding and very much chakra depleted.
His eyes had widened and he felt a sickening feeling crawl over his back before he forced himself to think properly. He quickly picked her up, and ran towards Orochimaru's place. He probably should've gone to the hospital but she had specifically requested Orochimaru's.
He was huffing hard, and trembling, when he reached the place and Orochimaru had almost broken off his door when he senses Annaisha's chakra.
"Hey, ROOT sucks."-Annaisha
She probably shouldn't have said that but it was too late to regret it now. She barely managed to keep herself conscious when she felt the bloodlust from her teacher. Kakashi was only focused on her at the moment and the killing intent wasn't aimed at him so he didn't feel the pressure that much.
She was then carried in the house by Orochimaru with a very worried Kakashi trailing behind him.

She flinched a bit when she saw Sasuke and Orochimaru hovering over her. It was clear they were both very worried, and angry as well.
"I did nothing wrong this time, ok? Allllll the fault was with the ROOT bastards. By the way, I'm pretty sure I killed all of them-"-Annaisha
"This is one of the side effects. She is likely to remain this way for about an hour."-Orochimaru
Annaisha gasped at being interrupted and had an offended look which both the men ignored.
Soon Kakashi came in with a tray full of food and she couldn't help but notice the tearstains under his eyes.
"Asahi and Haru were asking about you. Genma and Raidou already seem to know you were alive so they just asked me to pass on some presents to you. Rin said that you'll be learning medical ninjutsu from her since you keep getting hurt so much. Minato-sensei said that maybe he should take you off the rooster when he becomes Hokage. Obito said that if you pull a stunt like that again, he'll follow you on every mission you take. And-"-Kakashi
He took in a large breath to keep himself calm and Annaisha patted him on the back.
"I'm sorry for worrying you."-Annaisha
