Chapter 5

Disclaimers: I do not own OUAT or its characters, just my colorful imagination. The Swan-Mills family is at Granny's and they are about to deal with other things headed their way. How will the Charmings deal with the fact Emma is not their daughter? This story will be different from my others.

The group turned to see who had arrived. It was the Charmings. Mary Margaret lit up when she saw Emma. "Emma! You came back!" Just as she was about to hug her daughter, she stiffened up when she noticed Maleficent was there. "What are you doing here? You are not supposed to be here!"

Maleficent gave them a very intimidating look. "Long time no see, Snow White and her lapdog. Have you stolen any more children lately?"

Emma looked at her former parents. "I'm glad my mother is here with me. She and I had a reunion thanks to Regina."

Mary Margaret shook her head. "What are you talking about, Emma? I'm your mother. I gave birth to you!"

Emma shook her head. "You didn't. Maleficent gave birth to me and my sister. That blanket I was found with? It has two scents on it. Me, and your baby. They kept the blanket when they put her with a family. Then they put that blanket with me."

"No, Emma! You're our daughter! She's lying to you!!!" The Charmings were not ready to accept what Emma said.

Maleficent was so close to blowing up at them. She wanted so much to hurt them for what they did with her babies. "She smells nothing like you!!!" She growled. "I have not forgotten when you and your Charming stole my babies!!!" Her eyes glowed.

Before they could continue with their protestations, Ruby spoke up. "It's true, Emma doesn't smell like either one of you. She smells like a dragon."

"How can you say that, Ruby? I gave birth to her…" she began to crumble.

Emma moved to her former mother. "You stole me and my sister from our mother. Trust me, when I get my sister and bring her back, you and I will be having words. You are not my mother and you are not my father. Deal with it." It wasn't over until she said it was.

She joined her mother and son and Regina. "Speaking of my parentage, who is my father?" She asked.

Maleficent chuckled as she reached out and took Emma's hand into her own. She felt incredibly proud of her daughter. "I don't know. It's a mystery to me too. All I do know is he was a dragon. He could be anyone who can shapeshift and he had the magic of the kind that impressed me." She chuckled. "It was a one-night stand, and he gave you two to me."

Emma's eyebrows rose in surprise. "Looks like we will have a mystery to solve then."

"This isn't over, Emma. We will talk about this later when you're alone." Mary Margaret was determined to have this conversation with her daughter. She didn't appreciate being dismissed like that. She and David left, after taking their food to go.

Emma shook her head, rolled her eyes, and scoffed. She looked at her mother. "I can't wait to get my sister home. And maybe we will find out who our father is."

Just then, Robin arrived with his Merry Men. He looked to see who was there. Upon seeing that Emma was back, he frowned with displeasure. He saw Regina there and moved over to her. "Come with us. Roland and I need you. Besides, we need to talk as a family. Just you, me, and Roland." He made no mention of Henry or the fact Emma had returned.

Henry scowled at Robin, feeling such dislike for the thief. He never appreciated how Robin would intentionally exclude him when trying to take his mother out. He felt as if Robin was trying to take her away from him. "You need to take Roland and leave us alone!" He didn't like him at all.

Emma noticed how her son bristled at Robin's presence. She didn't like the way that pinecone tried to dictate Regina's life. "You do know that Regina has a son too? How would you feel if Regina excluded your son and expected you to come when called?"

Robin glared at Emma. "My boy loves Regina! She would never turn her back on us! You have your son. Let us be a family! Leave us alone! Take your brat and go wherever you were hiding before!"

Regina didn't like the way Robin was behaving, dismissing Henry from their lives and expecting her to go with them? She put her arm around Henry's shoulders. "How dare you?!" She was finally seeing his true colors. "Henry is a part of the whole package. If you can't see that, then I don't think it will work out for us. You are being very rude. Emma and Henry don't deserve to be treated this way. We share a son. There's nothing you can say or do that will change my mind."

Robin stepped forward, rolling up his sleeve, exposing his lion tattoo. "I have this. Remember who you belong to!!!"

Emma was disgusted by Robin's caveman approach to how Regina belonged to him. "She belongs to no one! She belongs to herself! Who she decides to spend her time with is her decision. Not yours!"

Regina scoffed. "Your tattoo does not dictate who I belong to. I do not appreciate your chauvinistic attitude. You need to go home and think long and hard about your behavior as a man and as a father, and whether or not this is the way you want your son to grow up. I hope Roland will learn the proper way to treat a woman. Or a Queen for the matter. I would not want to hang out with someone who has taken to acting like a gorilla."

Emma and Henry couldn't help themselves as they broke out into a fit of giggles. Robin did painfully resemble a constipated gorilla at the moment.

Robin glared at them and stormed off in a huff with Roland and his Men.

Maleficent had an amused smile on her face. "That was certainly fun to watch."
