Chaotic Council Session
The Senju Council Room was chaotic. Everyone was yelling. All the Senju Council of Elders and the high-ranking members of the Senju clan were there. Also, Butsuma’s sister, her husband, and the head of the Med-nin were there.
“Why didn’t you tell us that your son was an Omega when you knew that?!” shouted the council member loudly.
“Do you mean when you say Hashirama’s fated mate is Madara?!” yelled Butsuma’s sister, Senju Moriko, in a hysterical tone.
“Butsuma, you knew that Hashirama’s fated mate was Madara and never bothered to tell us!” another council member shrieked.
“I refuse to accept it’s just a coincidence that he is not our heir’s, Hashirama’s, fated mate!” a council member exclaimed.
“Cause what about clan law? If Madara is his fated mate, he has to mate with him before his 16th birthday!” one council member proclaimed.
“Our heir will not be a mate of an Uchiha!” the senior officer declared.
“I don’t care that Clan law dictates that they mate with their fated mate if it’s truly Hashirama’s fated mate; we will just arrange for him to mate with an Uzumaki instead!” a fellow council member explained.
“Everyone Shut Up!” yelled the head of the council, “Now that we know all the facts, Butsuma, is it true that you knew that your son’s fated mate was Madara and didn’t tell us?”
“When his cousin fell into a rut, I realized my son was an Omega. Based on his reaction to this, I determined he was an Omega. In the aftermath of the incident, I investigated who could have been my son’s fated mate, but I discovered no one from our clan. I intended to search the vassal and allied clans for his fated mate. Unfortunately, I could not do so before all of this occurred.” Butsuma stated.
The head of the council affirmed, “We should determine that Madara Uchiha, Tajima’s heir, is his faded mate before discussing further.”
The clan members quickly set up the jutsu and cast it. Writing began to appear on the scroll, and as soon as the script was complete, the head of the Senju Clan Council began to read it.
As soon as they finished reading it, the head of the council handed the scroll to Butsuma. Butsuma took the scroll and began to read it; then, just Huff’s exasperation.
Butsuma pinched the bridge of his nose before speaking, “Hashirama’s fated mate is indeed Madara.” he sighed.
“Now,” inquired the head of the council, “I would like to know what you did to cause Hashirama’s fated mate to abandon him or for him to abandon his fated mate?”
Butsuma sighed, exasperated, before saying, “Hashirama has the habit of leaving the compound every so often, but about nine months ago, he started leaving the compound more often. I thought he just needed some space to grieve the loss of Kawarama and, later, Itama. But it kept happening, so I had Tobirama follow him, and I discovered that he had been meeting up with Madara secretly. When I discovered it, I planned on using it to our advantage to kill Tajima’s heir. However, Tajima also became aware of it around the same time, causing a confrontation at the river where they were meeting. Tajima and I crossed blades. Tajima had brought his other son along, while I brought Tobirama along. Tajima and I both planned to harm or injure the other son, hoping to distract another, causing Hashirama and Madara to intervene and knock away the weapons. After that, Madara said he wishes it was different, but it’s not, and then said the next time they meet will be on the battlefield. That’s not the exact wording but the gist of what was said.”
“You mean our heir has been secretly meeting Madara for months?” a council member shrieked.
“When you confronted him, did you find out what he revealed about our clan?!” another council member demanded.
“Can you explain why you failed to inform us when you knew Hashirama was meeting Madara in secret?” the head council shouted.
“Hashirama, our heir, will not mate with an Uchiha, even though he is Hashirama’s fated mate!” a fellow council member explained.
“We are not breaking Senju law just because Hashirama’s fated mate happens to be an Uchiha!” shouted Butsuma’s sister, Senju Moriko.
“Does anyone know why that law was put in place, that they had to mate with their fated mate? You want to desecrate a fated mate and don’t even realize the consequences when those two meet; their bodies recognize each other and make it nearly impossible for them to conceive with anyone else.” screamed the head med-nin.
“So, you’re saying Hashirama will only be able to conceive with his fated mate, who has to be an Uchiha?” one council member howled.
“That’s enough,” screamed Butsuma in exasperation.
Butsuma took a deep breath and continued, “No one is happy that Hashirama’s fated mate is an Uchiha, but we can’t change that fact, and Hashirama has to be mated before he turns 16, and he also has to produce children, so we have an heir after him.”
The head of the council looked at Butsuma, nodding before speaking, “I know, Butsuma-sama, you despise Hashirama’s fated mate, an Uchiha, but this guarantees the peace treaty because the Uchiha hold fated mates in high regard. They wouldn’t dare violate a peace treaty if it meant their heir would be separated from their fated mate.”
The Senju Council’s room began to fill with murmurs and mumbling after that statement, followed by nods of agreement. Butsuma was sitting there silently fuming as he could see many of them taking the idea to heart.
The senior officer in the third command on the battlefield hummed, then added, “We will attain Sharingan Kekkei Genkai, and Uchiha won’t pursue us for bloodline hunting or line theft. Also, the fated mate of Hashirama is the heir to the Uchiha, meaning his heir would be half Senju.”
Another council member asserts, “I think everyone agrees now that we should reach out to the Uchiha Clan about the fact that their heir, Madara Uchiha, is the fated mate of Hashirama Senju, who our heir is.”
Everyone in the Senju Council room nodded in agreement; the council member looked at the head of the council and nodded his head towards him.
The head of the council stated, “Now that that’s decided, the next task is to draft an official letter to be sent to the Uchiha Clan. Due to our clan’s customs and laws, we will have to get a collar made for Hashirama and the proper clothes for him as an heir and an Omega. Additionally, we need to plan a plan for the official announcement of his secondary gender, where he will receive gifts in line with his Omega status, such as nesting supplies, kimonos, and yukatas.”
Immediately following the head of the council’s speaking, the council began drafting the official letter to be sent to the Uchiha. After more discussion and a more in-depth announcement of where and when Hashirama's secondary gender announcement would take place, they ended their council meeting. When the council meeting was over, they sent the letter to the Uchiha Clan and requested a reply within a week and a half.
