Part of the Pack

Izuna walked with the girls behind Madara as they gave directions to him.

Izuna held both of their hands as they chatted with him and his brother, they spoke about their brothers Sasuke, Naruto, and they one they had already met Sai.

They spoke about how Kakashi was there for as long as they could remember, but for children, that might not have been all that long.

It was odd for Izuna to see children who've not seen war, or who've had their lives threatened. While Madara as the recently appointed clan head, was trying his best to stop it, there was only so much he could do.

Many children had already faced war because of their late father, and they could really predict what Uchiha family would be attacked by assassins.

It was nice to see a childlike innocence that he never got to have, their biggest worries were what flower went best with their hair or how they'd beat up their "annoying" big brothers.

While he at their age was wondering if he'd even be alive the next day.

They followed the path the girls told them to, although they weren't 100% sure they wouldn't get lost.

The wind picked up quite heavily after a bit.

"Kaguya, look it's the pretty flowers Kashi showed us  yesterday" Sakura pointed at the flowers excitedly.

Kaguya bounced happily pointing at the flowers and pulling at Izunas pant leg. He nodded leading them to the flowers.

"Madara, we're taking a break!" Madara turned to Izuna nodded and setting Kakashi down against a tree.

The girls sat next to the flowers picking a few to turn into flower crowns as Izuna kneeled watching them.

"Those are wonderful picks for your flower crowns" he complimented "hey how about you guys tell us about your other brothers? Sasuke and Naruto was it? We know you guys, Kakashi, and Sai, but we don't know anything about Naruto and Sasuke" he watched them build the flower crowns.

"Sasuke and Naruto are my twin brothers" Sakura called out happily, that's what Kakashi had told her so it had to be true.

They don't remember anything before their little house in the clearing so all they had was what Kakashi told them.

All he ever said was it was dangerous outside of the clearing, they were all siblings and, Sasuke, Sakura and, Naruto were  triplets, in that order. And that he'd always protect them and they were the most important to him.

"Oh? Your twin brothers? Your triplets? That's very rare you know" Izuna was surprised, twins in this day and age because of the war was considered bad luck, it was hard enough to protect one baby from an assassins and teach them to protect themselves but two?

That's hard and bad luck, but three? That's nearly impossible.

"Yea! Sasuke is the biggest and I'm the middle and Naruto is the littlest!" She puffed out her chest seemingly proud to be Naruto's big sister.

"Sasuke looks like you guys! He has a mean face and looks angry a lot but he isn't! He's nice and loves us! He hugs Naru a lot because Naru is sensitive" she focuses back into her flower crown whilst speaking.

Izuna and Madara looked at each other for a moment not speaking.

"Naruto has bright blond hair and blue eyes, he has a lot of energy but gets sad easily, Kashi says it's because he feels how other people feel and he can pick up on it easily and it makes him sad" she went on about how Naruto is.

"He's my baby brother though, I gotta keep him and Kaguya safe" she huffed determinedly.

Izuna nodded "I think it's very noble to protect your younger siblings" he pat her head gently.

"So your our family too?" She asked tilting her head as Izuna nodded.

"You know Kakashi's eye?" Sakura nodded "yeah Sasuke has one too!" She yelled happily. Izuna's head jerked to look at Madara whose eyes also widened, this was good news actually. It meant 100% chance of Kakashi being a mutated/bastard child, they had a theory of what happened.

A prostitute maybe had a relationship with a disgusting shameless Uchiha and ended up with children whom most likely have different blood and mixed together to create multiple mutated children.

It was a disgraceful thing but it wasn't the children's fault, however if they found the shameless Uchiha who created them, they wouldn't go unpunished.

"He does?" She nodded as she finished her flower crown and started helping Kaguya.

"Any of your other siblings have them?" Sakura nodded looking at him like he was stupid before lifting Kaguya a bangs, and just as clear as day on her forehead was another eye that held the Sharingan.

Seeing this showed their theory was most likely the case, it wouldn't be possible for her to have something like this if not, still it was shocking and frightening to see.

He quickly pulled Sakura's hand away letting Kaguya's bangs fall back over her third eye, Sakura's eyes widened confused.

"Sorry Sakura, but you must be careful. Bad people might see and want to steal your little sister" she gasped at Izuna statement and nodded seriously, looking around to make sure no one saw.

"I'm sorry... Naruto would be great to have here he'd know if someone bad was here..." she hugged Kaguya tightly who laughed happily hugging back completely oblivious to the conversation.

"How would Naruto do that?" Izuna asked "he can feel stuff,....people and things" she told him honestly, normally she wouldn't say so much to strangers, Kakashi taught her stranger danger but they said they were family and they look like Sasuke and Sai!

A sensor maybe? They were rare and most common in the Senju or Uzumaki clans. That thought didn't bother him, it didn't matter if the boy had Senju or Uzumaki blood because he still had Uchiha blood, especially if his twin was an Uchiha, though it did worry him what the elders would think. Madara would put them in their place, he knew that.

Madara hated the elders.

Izuna chuckles at that, every thought that came after was Madara publicly humiliating each elder multiple times for their stupidity.

Sakura tilted her head confused at what he was laughing at. Kaguya with her two year old mind laughed as well.

Sakura laughed too hugging Kaguya tighter while Madara imply looked amused at their antics.

It was sweet to Madara to see Izuna let his guard down and simply smile and take care of children, usually he's a big brooding butt, and Madara wasn't scared to say that to is brother.

Neither of them got to be children in a long time, it was nice to see him so relaxed, so happy to know that they were mutated/bastard children.

But Madara couldn't help but be distracted, who would take care of the children? They couldn't, to busy with Clan affairs, Madara always had meeting and had to do war plans, and Izuna had to be there to help him. He could only be in one place at a time so Izuna helped by going to certain things for him.

That was Izuna's job as the brother of the clan head, it would be easier if they'd haves other siblings but any other siblings they did have were dead sadly.

Meaning they'd have to either find the father of these children or find an Uchiha willing to take care of them.

Finding the father was nearly impossible, but he didn't know who'd want to take care of mutated and bastard children, especially if one may have blood of a Senju or Uzumaki.

"Izuna we should leave, I don't know how long he'll be out and we need keep him out till we get to the compound" Madara called out, Izuna nodded.

"Awe, Kaguya didn't finish her crown" Sakura frowned as Kaguya notice they were leaving and she hadn't finished.

The two year old started to cry causing Sakura to panic and take the flower crown she'd made and put it on Kaguya's head "it's okay don't cry! You can have mine!" She looked at Izuna panickedly silently asking for help.

Izuna pulled Kaguya from Sakura's arms gently holding her as he stood up rocking her back and forth.

The six year old stood up after him patting away the dirt from her kimono, she grabbed Izuna's pant leg again to make sure her little body could keep up.

Izuna smiled softly down at her while rubbing the crying two year olds back hushing her.

"I think she needs a nap... she gets cranky like this when she needs a nap, that's what Kakashi says" he nods at her claim "Kakashi is a smart big brother"

She nods happily at the praise he gave her big brother.

Madara stood picking Kakashi up more gently than before, there was no doubt that he wasn't an Uchiha.

He again put the boy over his shoulder, turning to Sakura for directions hoping the young girl wouldn't make them go in circles.

"Just follow this trail!" She called out pointing at the trail up ahead, Madara nodded and headed down that path with Izuna with the girls trailing behind.

While walking Kaguya finally fell asleep yawning tiredly.

They walk down the trail for a bit longer till the reach the beautiful cabin that the siblings call home.

Naruto was rough housing with Sasuke when he froze suddenly.

There were people coming, the same people who he'd seen team up and kill a man in the woods when he had decided to disobey Kakashi and go into the woods but different from the man who had been watching them before.

"What's wrong?"

Sasuke grabbed Naruto's shoulders worriedly, what had his baby brother so worked up?

"Someone's coming" he said with certainty "who?" Sasuke asked urgently "I'm not sure.... Kakashi is with them along with Sakura and Kaguya but something wrong."

"What do you mean something's wrong?" Sasuke pushed for more information "I-I don't know" Naruto looked towards the door"

"Sai!" Sasuke called going to their older brothers room "what is it?" Sai responded from on his bed reading a book.

"Naruto says someone's coming with the others and that something is wrong"

Sai got up and went to Naruto confused "what do you mean something is wrong?"

"Kakashi's aura or chakra whatever it's like he's sleeping, and their chakra, the ones I don't recognize, they're strong, scary" Naruto explained to the best of his ability.

"They're headed here?" Sai asked, Naruto nodded.

"Lock them out? Run away?" Sasuke started "no we can't leave our siblings alone like that" Sai stated.

"Then what do we do?" Naruto muttered "we wait" Sai replied "we see what's going on, is Kakashi is unconscious is more likely we'll be fine right?" If wasn't a statement, Sai was worried but he wasn't going to leave his big brother or little sister, maybe it was his childish mind maybe it was some weird logic a seven year old shouldn't have.

"I'm scared" Naruto clutched to Sasuke who hugged him back.

"It's okay I'll protect you" Sasuke clutched Naruto behind him, he would protect his little brother even if it killed him. Naruto wasn't like him, he was soft, sweet, kind, and gentle. It hurt him to see his baby brother scared.

They all waited impatiently, uncomfortably, and nervously.

Soon enough there was a loud knock on the door, they held their breath.

Sai nudged Sasuke to take Naruto and hide.

Sasuke pulled Naruto upstairs to their room without hesitation.

Sai however stood in front of the door pulling out a kunai "who... who is it?!" He hollered hesitantly.

"Sai?" A familiar voice responded calmly "it's Izuna and Madara" the voice responded, it was Izuna!

He hurriedly opened the door to see Madara carrying a seemingly sleeping Kakashi, Izuna carrying and sleeping Kaguya, and Sakura in front of them both jumping up and down before pausing.

"Where's Sasu and Naru?" Sakura questioned "oh their upstairs hiding" he was more concerned about Kakashi, why would he be so silly to fall asleep like that? Especially when he had such a strong dislike for the two men.

That seven year old paused at that thought, Kakashi might get upset with him for letting them in... But if Kakashi was okay enough to go to sleep around them and was with them, it should be fine right?

"Why are they hiding?" Sakura asked worriedly. "Naru felt unfamiliar people... he got scared, I told Sasuke to take him and hide" Sai just barely missed Izuna and Madara glance at each other.

"Awe no..." she looked up the stairs sadly before turning to Izuna and Madara "I'm gonna go get my twins and introduce you to them! Well after I make Naru feel better..." her voice went from proud to worried as she hopped up the stairs.

"Sai it's good to see you again" a hand reached over to pat his head "I've got to talk to you about something" Izuna glanced at Madara before down at Kaguya "how about you take me to Kaguya's room so I can lay her down and we can talk there?" Sai nodded confused and lead him to Kaguya and sakura's room.

Madara placed Kakashi down gently staring at him finally having a chance to get a real look at the younger boy.

He looked so peaceful in comparison to when he was awake. When he first saw kakashi, when the boy grabbed Sai and took off, his face was full of distrust, fear, and a sort of hatred.

Before He'd knocked the boy, while he was strangling, the recruiter he guessed the man was, he looked terrified, some may argue he was enraged, but Madara knew that look.

Look a fear that turned to a type of anger, but was still pure fear.

He glanced back at Izuna and Sai as they walked back into the room, Sai had a sort of shy face. Madara knew that Izuna told the boy about them being family, and coming home with them.

It was sweet the boy became shy at the thought, he wanted to protect it, the innocence the little ones have, at all cost.

They heard the sounds of multiple little feet coming down the stairs and turned to look.

They mentally prepared themselves, for what was the undeniable truth.

Down came Sakura with a boy who looked very similar to Sai and them, and hiding behind them was a boy with bright blond hair, blue eyes and seemingly feline whiskers.

He would definitely be the one.

"Hn" the black haired of the triplets looked them up and down with a dirty look.

"Hi...." The blonde said shyly, gripping The others clothing.

"This is Sasuke and Naruto!" Sakura pointed at each boy while introducing them "Naruto is the baby of the three of us!" She said happily.

Naruto pouted in response "am not..." he glanced from Sakura to the uchiha men nervously.

"Are" Sakura looked at him as if daring him to argue with her. "I'm your big sister, I'm always right!"

Madara lifted an amused brow glancing at Izuna, Izuna rolled his eyes ignoring him.

“It’s nice to me you two, I’m Izuna and this is Madara, we’re your cousins”

Sasuke huffed at him “so what?” He questioned.

“So what?” Izuna repeated confused “so we’re going to take you home…” he responded with an unsure tone “to reunite you with your father” he felt a jab in his side from Madara next to him.

It was impossible to find out who the children’s father was, but now the had to find someone to take in these kids by time they got to the compound. Thanks a lot Izuna.

Sasukes eyes widened and decided to step down from this little challenge he seemed to start, still however in front of Naruto as if to protect him.

“Yes you will reunite with your father, have you ever met him?” Madara asked, trying to make sure Izuna didn’t make this more difficult then it had to be.

Sasuke shook his head.

“Alright then, why don’t you go pack your things. Sakura told you your brother was sick correct?” Sasuke nodded at Madara. “Well he could get worse if we don’t hurry to the compound, you wouldn’t want that now would you?”

“No Uchiha-San” that shocked them, the boy knew how to address clansman. They decided to ignore that, maybe it was just him being polite, he had to know they were Uchiha based of their looks too right?

“Then off you go, we have to be out before the sun is down and it’s already almost setting” Madara waved them off.

Sai took his brothers hands and walked them to the girls rooms to help get them packed up.

“Izuna send note to the compound, we’ve got to find a caretaker now and fast” Madara ordered “I’m sorry brother… I didn’t know what else to say” Izuna responded sadly “it’s alright, send one directly to uncle, he may be able to help our situation” Izuna nodded and went outside to start his letter.

They finally had the kids in the safety of their company, now they just had to get the kids home.
