The idea had come to him out of the blue while he and the rest of the rookie nine were all hunkered down in a cave inside a barrier on Uzushio. He was leaning up against the cave wall while Sasuke had one hand absently playing with his hair while listening as Sakura chastised him about his reckless behavior. She had stopped after making a point about the fact that she wished she could go back to before the war had started and knock some sense into him. He lay there unblinking with that thought rolling around in his head before he blinked and quickly dropped into his mindscape immediately coming face to face with Kurama who was looking at him with a deadpan expression. After a minute he just breathed out a annoyed sigh before saying
"You can't be serious"
To which Naruto only grinned before saying
"Ohh come on think about it we could go back to before everything went to shit"
"Do you have any idea how much chakra it would take to power a seal to send you all back, the others would have to be jinchuuriki just to withstand the drain "
At this Naruto again went quiet before asking
"Would your siblings be willing to be sealed again if they weren't caged similar to how you are?
To which Kurama just blinked before saying
"You know what it might just work, give me a sec to ask them and I'll tell you.
After a few minutes Kurama started speaking again
"They all said yes so now all we have to do is figure out the sealing matrix and discuss it with your two mates and the rest of your friends. Also with the amount of chakra of all my siblings and I we should we able to send us all back to about the day of your graduation exam or the day before but that's it.
At this Naruto smiled before saying
"Thank you Kura, and I promise things will be different this time.
At this he left his mindscape to see Sasuke and Sakura both looking at him, he scratched at the back of his neck sheepishly before saying
"Heh sorry guys Kura and I were discussing an idea Sakura gave me"
The two just looked at him before Sasuke asked
"What idea dobe?
To which he smiled at Sasuke's nickname for him before grinning and saying
"According to Kurama the other bijuu are willing to be sealed into the rest of you so long as their seal is open like Kurama and I's, and before you ask why I wanted to know that it's because according to Kurama if all of you were jinchuuriki too it would be possible for me to create a seal to send all of us back to about the day of our graduation exam if not the day before that way we can stop all this before it happens"
By the end of his explanation both his partners were looking at him with matching shocked expressions before they both launched themselves at him wrapping him up in a hug and saying thank you over and over again.
By the time he had managed to calm the two down the rest of the rookie nine were looking at him so he rushed to explain
"Ok so what would you all say if I said we could go back to the day of the graduation exam but it would require all of you to become jinchuuriki?"
At first none of them blinked before Shikimaru (always the realistic one) asked
"Shouldn't that be impossible?"
At this Naruto could only smirk before saying
"Ohh come on Shika you should know by now that words not in my vocabulary."
To which he just scoffed before shooting his friend back an amused look. After a few minutes Hinata spoke up asking what they were all thinking
"Would we keep all our abilities?"
"Kura says yes as well as Teme's Rinnegan and Sakura chans 100 healings seal."
At this all his friends just smile before all agreeing to become jinchuuriki. After that Naruto spends the next three or four days designing bijuu seals for all of them that corespond specifically with their bijuu, after which he seals all the tailed beasts into their new hosts.The pairs being :
1: Shukaku and Ino
2: Matatabi and Sasuke
3: Isobu and Sakura
4: Son Goku and Kiba
5: kokou and Shikamaru
6: Saiken and Chouji
7:Chomei and Shino
8: Gyuki and Hinata
It took him about a week to completly design the seal which ended up being about the the size of the academy. During the week he was working on the seal his friends spent the time befriending the tailed beasts sealed in them. By the time Naruto had finished the seal all of them had learnt the name of their bijuu and built a friendship with them (even Sasuke to everyones surprise).
At the end of the week the rookie nine all gathered at the seal while Naruto explained where they should stand and the hand signs before they all stood on oposite spots in the middle of the seal.
"as soon as your done with the hand signs chanell as much chakra into the seal as you can and I mean chakra exhaustion levels this has to work. Ok on the count of three

As soon as Naruto said three everyone started the series of hand signs finishing on ram as everything went white.
Kaguya shrieked as the last nine chakra signatures vanished.
