Constructive criticism is encouraged, as I want to get better at writing. Just please don’t be mean! Also, sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes! This fic has only been beta read by me.I’m usually pretty bad at like, actually writing consistently, so don’t expect updates anytime soon lmao.Enjoy 😊

Encounter

Kakashi barely registered his own steps as he limped across a lawn. He had barely become a chunin a week ago, and with his luck, he ran into a three man squad of two genin and a jonin. From Iwa. The village that hated Konoagakure the most.

Some part of Kakashi’s mind told him that he shouldn’t recklessly go through random barriers, but right now he was too exhausted to care. He plodded across the massive expanse of grass, towards the huge mansion in the middle.

It was about to rain soon, and he didn’t want to die from something stupid like hypothermia. Better captured than dead. At least he would be able to escape other people.

He ran out of energy a few feet in front of the steps. Before he lost consciousness, a huge shadow loomed over him. He could sense multiple energy signatures near him.

Was his exhausted mind playing tricks, or were their auras strange? It was like they didn’t even have chakra coils at all.

“Oh my gosh!” gasped one voice.

“Is this your idea of a sick joke, Fowl? Because if it is I’ll make sure to shove my blaster up your-” this was quickly cut off when a 7 foot tall giant in an Armani suit shot the speaker a glare.

“Well, this is a surprise,” sighed the last voice, “Butler, knock it out. We don’t know if it’s dangerous or not. I am not replacing the staircase again.”

Kakashi tried to get up. He really did. But even ninjas have their limits. The last thing he felt was a quick jab to his neck before he passed out.

Fowl Manor

When Artemis Fowl the second led LEPrecon officers Holly Short and ‘Trouble’ Kelp to Fowl Manor to discuss some… business, as his father would say, he did not expect to see a bleeding, silver haired, child collapsed in front of his front steps. He was intrigued. With his past experiences with fairies, he wasn’t going to assume that it was a human just yet.

The creature had the build of an elf, but didn’t have pointed ears. It definitely was not a dwarf, not a gnome. Maybe a new species?

After cleaning up its many wounds (he didn’t even want to know how it got 17 lacerations, 5 broken bones, and a concussion) and having Holly heal them up, he deduced that the creature was male, and it’s build was that of a human child’s. Except for the fact that it had some unknown energy that merged with its bloodstream that seemed to speed up  recovery time.

Also the fact that a normal 6 year old human does NOT come equipped with a weapons holster, a sword (which, according to Butler, was a tanto), throwing knives, and shuriken. If he didn’t know better, then he would’ve assumed that it was a child soldier.

He stayed in the security room to study the feed from the camera placed in a cell that had formerly house captain Holly Short. Butler insisted on staying with him, even though a very powerful sedative was being used on the creature. There was no way that it was going to wake up anytime soon.

But he was wrong. Artemis had used the amount of sedatives for a normal elf. As a shinobi, Kakashi was already trained to resist sedatives, in the case of being captured. Furthermore, his chakra not only sped up his recovery time, it also rendered the type of sedative Artemis used to be less effective.

Kakashi woke up 5 days later. As he woke up, he was confused by why his mask was off, and why it didn’t smell like Konoha’s hospital.

Then he remembered. The Iwa shinobi, the chase, the mansion, getting knocked out…

He opened his eyes. Everything was blurry for a few seconds. Once his vision cleared, he saw that he was in some sort of concrete prison cell. He was hooked up to an IV drip, and had plastic handcuffs on both hands that bound his wrists to the cot’s railings.

He smirked. Plastic handcuffs were ridiculously easy to get out of. He could do it even as a genin.

He rubbed his sore wrists as he got up. Kakashi realized that whoever put him here had mended his torn clothes, and healed his injuries. That…was new to him.

All of his equipment was in the same room. Even the dumbest of ninjas (yes, maybe even Obito) wouldn’t leave weapons with the enemy. What kind of trashy security was this?

After securing all his weapons and supplies, Kakashi looked for escape routes. He slammed his palm down on the floor and sent out a pulse of chakra.

He closed his eyes as he reconstructed the mansion in his mind. That was one perk of being a genius with a photographic memory. He quickly plotted a escape route. He knew that there were probably security seals, but his chakra surge should’ve taken care of that problem.

The young shinobi stumbled slightly due to chakra exhaustion. He mentally groaned. I may have overdone it with my chakra usage this time. I’m going to be tired for weeks.

Kakashi stretched out his muscles and winced. He had probably been unconscious for a few days. He should hurry if he was going to make the deadline for his mission. And if there was one thing Hatake Kakashi hated the most, it was being late.

Artemis Fowl the second was intrigued, to say the least. The creature had somehow managed to disable all of the security cameras, and get out of a room that was locked on the outside.

He smiled as he relayed the new information on the guest. This latest catch could prove to be even bigger than exposing the people all those years ago.
