Enough [Rewrite]

Minato was pacing back in forth in his office. His son had been born but now had half of the nine-tailed fox inside of him due to someone unleashing the Kyubi when the seal was weak.

Now, Minato was about to have a discussion with the Mizukage about a peace treaty. The Third Shinobi War is long over and Konoha needs allies but that doesn't mean that Minato will trust the Mizukage so easily.

Looking at the clock Minato saw that it was well past noon. The Mizukage should have been in the village by now but no guard had sent word that the Mizukage has arrived. 

As Minato walked to his window he saw a hawk waiting for him with a message presumably from the Mizukage. Taking the message from the hawk, Minato scans the context of the message. Well, that answers his question about why the Mizukage wasn’t here.

‘Dear Hokage-Sama,

I am sending this message to tell you we had a problem happen in our village and it caused a minor panic among my guards but it has been taken care of and I would like to apologize for the delay that the problem has caused.

Signed,

The Fourth Mizukage, Yagura Karatachi.’

A problem happened inside Kirigakure? Was it a minor or major problem? Why was there panic amongst his guards? Minato shook his head and got rid of the questions inside his head. He could just ask the Mizukage when he gets here.

Minato pulled out his chair and sat at his desk and decided to get through some of the paperwork that had built up during the time he was absent.

After getting done with at least 5 papers, a guard pops into the room.

“I am going to assume that the Mizukage and his guards are here correct?” Minato said with a raised eyebrow.

The guard bowed and spoke, “Yes, Hokage-Sama. The Mizukage and his guards have entered the village and are heading here right this second.”

Minato waved a hand and dismissed him. Turning to the closed door, sensing a few chakra signatures, and waited silently for the Mizukage to enter.

The Mizukage finally entered the office and Minato analyzed each of his guards. Besides the Mizukage were two of the Swordsmen of the Mist looking at the weapons on their backs and beside the tallest one was a little girl on the back of the woman that came in with the Mizukage.

“Mizukage-Sama. Glad that you could come here to discuss the treaty!” Minato said standing up from his chair and walking around his desk.

Yagura bowed and spoke, “Pleasure of being here Hokage-Sama. I am very sorry about the delay. My guards had a panic and we had to figure out what happened to a dear person of one of them.”

Minato raised an eyebrow. “Would you care to elaborate Mizukgae-Sama?”

Yagura turned to his only female guard and held out his hands to take the child perched on her back. The woman slowly let the child off her back and moved to stand a little bit back from the tallest guard. The small child put her small hand into the hands of Yagura and took a step closer to him.

“This is Sakura, Hokage-Sama. She is the daughter of one of my guards. While she and her father were in their house, some rouges attacked them. One of them managed to cut straight across her eye.”

Now that the child was facing him, Minato got a better look at her. She looked around the age of two and her hair was light pink. Taking a look at the child’s face he saw bandages wrapped around her right eye but her other eye was uncovered and he could see she had not emerald but also not jade eyes.

“Well, I do hope that everything has been handled, Mizukage-Sama. If you would like I could get someone to escort you to the place you will be staying.” Minato said turning his attention back to Yagura.

“That would be deeply appreciated, Hokage-Sama. Tomorrow morning I will be here to discuss the treaty.” Yagura said nodding to Minato.

“Very well then. I will see you tomorrow Mizukage-Sama.” Minato called out as the Mist nins left his office.
