I Love You

Do I really like Naruto? When did I even like that moron? What's there to like him? No, Itachi was just messing with me. Right? Right?

Stupid Itachi. Why did he have to say something like that?

I hurriedly wore my uniform when Itachi shouted from downstairs, I usually wake up around 5:30 am before Itachi but because of his and mine's conversation from last night, I wasn't able to get some good night's sleep.

7:45 am

Stupid Itachi.

When I came down I saw mother and father at the dining, reading some news from the tab and sipping their coffee, while Itachi, of course, was leaning against the table while smirking at me.

Stupid Itachi.

"Sasuke." He said as he straighten himself, but his definitely not straight.

"Let's go," I said and turned my back on him, forgetting to greet Mother and Father

"Sasuke, hun, where are you going? Why are you wearing your uniform?" His Mother Mikoto asks. Sasuke's brows furrowed and then he turn around to face his family, his mother with a confused look, his father Fugaku with an amused face, and Itachi with a teasing smirk.

"Um, School?" he answer, a bit hesitant

"Honey, today's Saturday." His mother said and Sasuke's eyes widen

"What? Then why did Itachi call me?!" he accusingly pointed at his big brother

"My dearest Little Brother, I was just going to ask you if you need me to accompany you later to buy your kimono," his brother said, crossing his arms and smiling at Sasuke

"Kimono?" he tilted his head out of confusion, causing his family to straighten their backs and control the fond look they were about to give to their baby boy because Sasuke tilting his head out of curiosity is bad for their heart, his so cute.

"Hun, the festival. Have you forgotten?" his Mother asked him, smiling a little bit

"Didn't have a good night's sleep eh, Sasuke" his father teasingly said to him after sipping his coffee, he even stops reading his tab when he saw his youngest son wearing his uniform on Saturday.

"Itachi's fault," Sasuke said and cross his arms in front of his chest

"What are you talking about my dearest? I just gave you some advice right?" Itachi said, playing innocent but teasing Sasuke in a silent way

"Advice?" Their Mother confusingly asks causing Sasuke to blush

"Some school stuff, Mother." He hurriedly answered, making Itachi sip water from a nearby glass

"Just pick me up later, Nisan," Sasuke said and hurriedly went back to his room

He shut his door and flopped back into his bed, not bothering to take off his clothes. Was his mind really occupied by Naruto to the point he didn't remember that today was the festival day?

Oh my god.

He definitely likes Naruto, huh?

No wonder he felt like his heart was getting stabbed when Hinata asked Naruto if he can be her date tonight, he also felt safe and comfortable whenever he was with Naruto. Sasuke was in deep thought when his phone buzzed from his bedside table. Great, he forgot his phone. Thank God, there's no class.

Have you bought your kimono yet? Please tell me not yet!

Sasuke and Sakura unexpectedly became friends, when Monday came, Sakura approached Sasuke, asking if she can be his date at the festival, clinging to Sasuke as if her life depended on it. Sasuke was annoyed, but it vanished when he saw the look Sakura was giving to Ino.

Sasuke, ate lunch that day with the Ino-Shika-Cho trio, he was beside Ino who was sitting beside Sai, the annoying pale guy who keep on smiling at him, it was so creepy. Normally Ino would make a fuss about Sakura pestering Sasuke, but at that moment Ino was so focused on Sai, that she didn't even look at her side. Just Sai. And Sakura was hurt. Sasuke can tell.

"You want to buy some drinks?" Sasuke asks, making Shikamaru, Choji and Sakura's eyes widen.

"Ah...Y-yeah," Sakura got up and shot Ino one last glance.

"You like Ino, don't you?" Sasuke whispered after they got further away from them.

"Eh?" Sakura look up at him, eyes widening and her face flushed.

"Ino. You like her," Sasuke said, looking back at Sakura

Sakura smiled sadly, looking down at her feet, but that pained expression didn't escape Sasuke's eyes.

"What if I like her? Will she be able to like me back?" Sakura whispered. Sasuke just stayed silent, bought a coke, and gave it to Sakura, she hesitantly took it and looked at him.

"What if you confess your love to her?" Sasuke suggests making Sakura chuckle, but she shooked her head.

"I can't do that. Ino, likes Sai, she's not into girls, and I can't let our friendship destroy just because I love her romantically, her friendship with me, is all I have. I can't lose that." Sakura said, not noticing the single tear shed from her eye, Sasuke grab the back of Sakura's head and pulled her against his chest, Sakura stifle a sob and Sasuke caressed her small back.

"I don't know if I can go with you, Naruto already---" Sasuke was cut by the sight across him, it was Naruto with Hinata by his side, laughing together.

Sakura pulled away from Sasuke, confuse as to why he didn't finish his sentence, she notice how Sasuke's eyes were painted with sadness, anger, and resentment, so she look at the way where Sasuke laid his eyes, Sakura's green eyes widen, seeing how Naruto put his arms around Hinata and laughing together with her.

Does Sasuke-kun likes Naruto? Sakura thought She and Naruto are childhood friends, but she hasn't hung out with Naruto recently because she was occupied with studying so she doesn't know if Hinata and Naruto are a thing.

"We can accompany each other if you like Sakura, have a nice day," Sasuke said and turned his back, putting both of his hands inside his pockets, exiting the cafeteria and not even bothering to go back to Ino's table.

But when Tuesday came, Lee asked Sakura if he can accompany her, and Sakura said yes because Sasuke was going with Naruto anyways, she doesn't know but she can feel it, the girl trusts her instincts. So, later that day he told Sasuke about Lee, and thank god, he just brushed it off and said he'll just go with whoever. They hung out for a bit and talk about random things, and that made them became friends.

Sasuke typed his reply and didn't have to wait for long because the pink-haired girl replied immediately

Yay! Come with me at 3pm. Laters, Darling.

Sasuke just shook his head and didn't reply, he and Sakura exchanged numbers and texted each other occasionally, Sakura asking if Sasuke will eat lunch with Ino or just hang out with them for a bit. Sasuke, as the good friend he is, gave Sakura a favor and ate lunch with Ino just so she could be with Ino sometimes.

Sasuke changed into his casual clothes and lay in his bed afterward, he has a lot of time left so he'll just spend it sleeping because he is sure that the festival will tire him out later.

2:00PM came and Sasuke finally woke from his deep slumber, his Mother surprisingly didn't wake him up but he know that his Mother was busy at the moment, his father too. He got up and took a shower and dressed, after, he received a text from Itachi.

Hurry up, princess.

It made Sasuke frown, his brother can really get on his nerves without even trying.

Fuck off, Pinky girl is coming.

He left his room and went downstairs, and yes, Itachi knew about Sakura being Sasuke's friend, and Itachi's annoyed by her.

"Mother," Sasuke said as he came down, his mother was ironing his Father's cop uniform while his Father went to who knows where Itachi on the other hand glared at Sasuke secretly.

"Oh, You'll gonna buy some kimono today right? Itachi can you get my customize fan later at Miss Yuhi?" Their mother asks, halting her work and looking at his sons.

"Yes, Mother" Itachi answered and gave his Mother a small smile, Sasuke went to her and kiss her on the cheeks, and went outside with Itachi

"Take care, boys" they heard their mother yell, they went inside Itachi's car and drove to the mall.

"Why's the pinkenette coming?" Itachi asks, frowning. Sasuke laugh at his big brother because it was really entertaining to see his brother get annoyed by his friend.

"Who knows," he answered hiding his smirk at Itachi.

Once they arrived at the mall, Itachi parked his car and they went inside, Sakura didn't mention where they were meeting but Sasuke knows that girl will be here and maybe even started buying some kimonos. And he was right.

"Yo, Weasel." Sakura greeted Itachi and sneakered when she saw Itachi's annoyed face

"Hello to you too, bubble gum, it wasn't nice to see you," Itachi said while rolling his eyes

Sakura just laugh at him and dragged Sasuke to the boutique, she made Sasuke try different kimonos, which to Sasuke's annoyance, Itachi just laugh at him of course. Sakura can be annoying sometimes, especially if she's being pushy, but Sasuke grew to like her anyways, she's a good friend. And a good annoying weapon against Itachi.

After two hours of trying different kimonos, Sasuke settles on the plain blue one, Itachi with black, and Sakura with pink and some Sakura flowers design. The three paid for their clothes and ate some pizza.

"So, Sasuke-kun. When are you going to confess to Naruto?" Sakura blurted out, she was sitting beside Sasuke and across from Itachi, Sasuke choke from his drink and went red immediately making Itachi laugh a little louder.

"Did I say something wrong?" Sakura innocently ask while patting Sasuke's back and giving him some tissue

"Nothing."

"Oh, don't tell you just figured out that you like Naruto?" Sakura asks, eyes slightly widen

"Well, you are not wrong, bubble gum," Itachi said, hiding his smirk while eating his pizza

"Shut up. Nissan." Sasuke gritted his teeth, sometimes, just sometimes, he hates his brother so much, that he never knew when to shut up, just sometimes.

"Oh, so weasel is right?"

"Shut the fuck up, annoying bubble gum." The weasel, no, Itachi annoyingly said and stood up.

Sakura and Sasuke took that as a sign to stand up as well and part ways, it was already 5:00 pm and Itachi has to get ready by then because of the patrol with their father. The trio bid goodbye and drove to their homes, Itachi went to Miss Yuhi and get what his Mother said and they went straight home.

Sasuke took a shower when he reached his bedroom, not noticing the buzzing of his phone, after his shower he changed into his kimono and style his hair, he put the Uchiha pin on the right side of his kimono, seeing he was already ready he checked his phone and nearly dropped it when he saw Naruto's messages and missed calls.

"Gosh, he's so annoying," Sasuke muttered but didn't notice the small smile forming on his face, he sighed and type a reply to Naruto

See you in a minute, Usuratonkachi.

Sasuke left his room and went downstairs, seeing his big brother wearing his black kimono with white linen and a pair of Uchiha crests display on his chest and his long hair was tied in a loose bun, he smiled, his big brother looks so ethereal. His Mother was no different, she looks so beautiful with his Dark blue kimono, her hair was down and she was holding her fan with the Uchiha crest on it. His father was in his casual police uniform, and his face was serious yet Sasuke can see the soft and loving glances he was giving to his Mother.

When Fugaku saw that his family was ready, they left the Uchiha Mansion and went straight to the exit gate of the Uchiha district. They went straight to the venue of the festival and after that, they part ways, Itachi joining Konan, his new secretary, and his father went to duty after telling his sons to enjoy especially Sasuke, nodding at Itachi to remind him of his duty to occasionally check the surveillance.

Sasuke and his Mother were walking down the aisle of different food stalls and gaming stalls when a certain blond haired appear in front of them.

"Sasuke!" Naruto beamed at him

"Naruto," his eyes widen at their close proximity

"Naruto?" his Mother at his side said

"Mama Mikoto!" Naruto said and hugged Mikoto, saying Sasuke was shocked at the display was an understatement, like, how in the hell does Naruto his Mother and vice versa!?

"You knew Naruto, Mother?" Sasuke asks, making Mikoto look at him in full of confusion, Of course, how would not I know Naruto--- don't tell me..... Mikoto thought, looking at Sasuke and Naruto back and forth.

"Of course, hun, Kushina, her Mother is my best friend." Mikoto smiled at his son looking at Naruto, apologetically, Naruto just smiled at her

Kushina? Sasuke thought, feeling the familiarity with the said woman

Suddenly Sasuke felt he was pulled so he directed his gaze at the blond, Naruto smiled at Mikoto and hold Sasuke's hands, and Sasuke avoided the gaze of his mother and hide his blushing face with his hair.

"Can I borrow Sasuke? Mama Mikoto? If you don't mind." Naruto asks and Mikoto just laughs at him

'Of course, honey, take care of him okay?" Mikoto said and left them, without Sasuke bidding his Goodbye.

Naruto pulled Sasuke, giving him some food and pulling him to play some games, Sasuke's having some fun, not to mention Naruto never let go of his hands yet, it was as if he was afraid Sasuke might get lost.

When they both get tired of the activities, they went to the side, far from other people, sitting on the grass and just watching the stars, they sat there with comfortable silence, only hearing the small sound from the speaker when Naruto suddenly stood up and offered his hand to Sasuke, he accepted it with confusion.

Naruto just looks at him in the eyes and smiled at him, taking both of Sasuke's hands to rest on his shoulders while he rested his on Sasuke's waist, the gesture made Sasuke look away, trying to hide the small blush that creep at his face and to avoid those electric blue eyes he was melting into. Naruto just chuckled and held his jaw, making him look at his eyes again.

And this time, Sasuke didn't look away.

They just enjoyed the physical touch and the music, the small swaying of their bodies, not uttering a single word and just staring at each other's eyes.

AFTER TWO MORE music the two went back to sitting on the grass, looking up at the stars, admiring their beauty, silently naming the stars with their name. Suddenly, they heard noises, they look back when they saw their friends coming at them.

"Wow, whiskered-blond, you really solo my dearest friend huh" Suigetsu said, directly sitting beside Sasuke, and Sasuke didn't waste any time to jabbed Suigetsu's side with his elbow

"Hey," Neji greeted him

"Hey" Sasuke smiled at him, when Sasuke felt a glance he looked at Gaara, who was intently watching Neji, especially the hand that clung to Neji's arm. A brunette-haired girl with a pair of buns was glued to Neji, and Sasuke knew that Gaara was jealous.

Shikamaru, Ino, Choji, Jugo, Karin, Sakura, Sai, Kiba, and the Hyuuga girl were there, Sasuke noticed, but more importantly, he noticed the closeness between the Hyuuga girl and Naruto, the soft giggles and light touches they were sharing, Sasuke averted his gaze from them, not noticing that both Neji and Sakura noticed it but just keep their mouth shut. Plus Shikamaru who just muttered, What a drag.

They were all chatting and laughing except Sasuke of course when suddenly the fireworks were lit.

It was beautiful, for Sasuke, he didn't take his eyes off the fireworks, admiring the beautiful bloom of each and its different colors of it. Not noticing the stare from the blond-whiskered male, certainly admiring him than the fireworks in front of him.

"I wish I could leave beautifully just like the fireworks too," Sasuke stared at Neji, what are you saying? Sasuke thought, not liking how anxious he was feeling.

"Sasuke," Sasuke immediately stood up and look at behind them, making the others look back too, it was Itachi

"Let's go," Itachi said, looking so tired, and the pain was evident in his eyes, Sasuke was worried so he immediately bid goodbye to them and went to his brother, he took his phone and sent Naruto a message.

Thank you, for tonight.

He sigh and glance at his brother, Itachi was silent and just walking towards the parking lot.

"Are you okay, Niisan?" Sasuke asks, Itachi look at him and he sighs, shaking his head and looking in front of them

"Kakashi," Itachi started halting, making Sasuke stop too

"I saw him with a girl," Itachi said making Sasuke frown

"Kakashi's gay for you," Sasuke said making Itachi laugh a little, and Sasuke was relieved

"He was with Hanare, the girl who like him, until now. I don't know, I just felt sick when I heard other people complimenting how they both look good together and how they can produce some good-looking children. It made me sad, it made me sick, knowing I won't be able to give Kakashi a child." Itachi said, making Sasuke anxious.

Hinata and Naruto also look good together, Hinata can give Naruto a child, children. They will be accepted by their parents, especially in society. And it's not like Naruto is gay or bi. He will just probably choose Hinata over Sasuke if given a chance. Sasuke wouldn't stand a chance against Hinata. Hinata has boobs and a vagina.

Both the Uchiha brothers entered their Father's car, sulking, Their parents may or may not have noticed it but they just keep quiet and just talk about different things, after all, their sons are all grown up, and they can sort out what's bothering them alone.

WHEN SASUKE finished showering he flop down his bed and wasn't surprised when he fell asleep immediately, his brain was tired from overthinking after all.

Sunday came and Sasuke and Itachi stayed at their home, while their mother and their father went out, it was their tradition, to make time for each other after the hectic schedules of their work, especially their father's.

Itachi keeps on ignoring Kakashi's calls and messages while Sasuke just stared at Naruto's message from last night, arguing with himself if he'll reply or not.

When Monday came, he did his very best to avoid Naruto, but it seems like the universe hates him, he didn't indeed see Naruto during class hours, recess, and lunch but Naruto went to him AFTER class. He can't avoid nor run away from Naruto now, because what will Naruto say? WHAT WILL HE SAY? That he likes him and was self-pitying himself because Naruto would never romantically like him and that he won't be able to call Naruto his boyfriend? Oh god.

"Sasuke," Naruto beamed

"Hn,"

"How are you? You never return my messages." Sasuke started walking and so does Naruto

"Was lazy to do so," he answered, NO! HE WAS BUSY SULKING AND DEBATING IF HE'LL REPLY OR NOT

"Thought so," Naruto hummed

They walk with an uncomfortable silence, because first, Naruto was not supposed to go this way, secondly, his heartbeat was beating so loudly, and thirdly, Naruto was silent for the first time!

"Sasuke," Naruto stopped, and Sasuke stopped too, maintaining the stoic face he was wearing to mask the anxiousness he was feeling

"Hn,"

"I love you,"

Wha...What? What did the Usuratonkachi just say? Am I imagining things? Definitely. I guess I'm still asleep, I really have to wake up now before I could even think that this is true, Oh my God.
